First off I want to say kudos for such a great and useful plugin. I do have one error to report on this plugin and that is that the add media buttons CSS is off. The button loads correctly on the initial site load, but once a page has completed loading the buttons color and the text “add media” are not on point.

I have attempted to find the buttons CSS using the plugin WP Editor and I can’t seem to find out which CSS attribute to edit and correct it.

Once again – Thanks!

I am glad you like the plugin. As for the problem you are facing, please send me a support request with your site’s url and login details so I can help you figure it out.

Hey, this ist not responsiv :(

Hi. The plugin is responsive. Unfortunately our demo website is not.

Hi there,

I am very interested in your plugin, but I need it for a Buddypress Community installation..There is only one other plugin that I know that has some of yours features but the author has seemed to abandoned it (this is why I HATE free plugins, though it had been very, very popular on the wordpress repository.)

So is there any update on when you will be releasing with Buddypress Integration though I might just purchase anyway and wait for integration it seems long promised. lol

Hi. Yes a lot of new features are in the pipeline but since we are building the whole plugin from scratch it is taking much longer than expected. May I ask which free plugin you are referring to?

Wow that sounds awesome! I’ve added you to my collections! sure..its called Social Articles https://wordpress.org/plugins/social-articles/ but its missing many basic options that the author promised w while ago but hasn’t delivered on yet.

Hey,

I have a error when i want upload a featured image from my computer, it say you are not allow to do this, but i am the admin!

But its work when i choice i picture from the media library

help

Please send me a support request so I can help you solve this issue.

Presales question. Is it possible with this plugin to send the published post to a concrete user role? If, eg I create post1 I want all users with role1 see this post but no users with role2, role3… and if I create post2 I want role2 see this post but no role1, role3… Thanks

Hi again, I’ve read the plugin has the possibility to add custom fields, would be possible with them to assign roles to every post?

Not quite. Your usecase is very specific and will most likely require custom code.

I have a presale question :)

Is it possible to set a maximum number of published posts?

I want for example, create “car” category and set frontend form to this. User can add post describing his car, pictures and so on. This will be like his car profile post.

I’m getting an upload error when attempting to upload to a custom post type when logged in as a woocommerce customer. Is there a workaround for this?

We have ticked (or unticked) everything as much as possible to allow permissions to be as loose as we can, but no joy.

Thanks!

Hi. Please send me your site’s URL and login details along with the exact error that you are seeing.

Hi – this didn’t work at all for us. I think it was where the user level was set to customer as the users had to be logged into their woocommerce account in order to post a boat profile.

I made a front end form myself with advanced custom fields acf_form and a custom post type, in a secured page.

How do I go about sorting a refund?

What problem are you facing exactly? I can help you with the upload issue if you send me a support request.

Hi, is there a way that we can add more images and video’s to the front end form, besides the featured image?

Hi. Yes there are custom fields for accepting media ids and urls. Also, the user can add as many items to the content as he or she wants but you probably know about that already.

Hi,
Can I add featured images to the listing?
If Yes which php file I have to modify?
Thanks

Yes you can add featured images as long as the post type supports it. You don’t need to edit anything in the code.

Hello, I get the “You don’t have permission to attach files to this post.” error for all users who are not admin. I have tried to add the capability with “user role editing” plugins without success. Please, help!

It seems to me that WordPress allows only Admins to upload files via the Upload Media button when submitting from the frontend plugin. So anyone can upload files but only Admins can actually attach to posts with the “Upload Media” functionality (like in the Media Library). That is odd as did not have a problem before with previous versions of plugin/wordpress.

Let me explain this issue once and for all.

By default it is not necessary for a media item to be attached to a post. This is the default behavior of the plugin and in most of the cases it works extremely well. However some themes and plugins take it upon themselves to try and attach every uploaded media item to a particular post. When you are creating a new post, it doesn’t exist in the database so the media item can not be attached to anything and as a result an error is thrown.

Dear Khaxan,

I understand. The fix you have sent me has worked and did the job :) Thank you very much for your support.

Great plugin. The visual doesn’t seem to be working (visual/text). When the visual option is pressed, it doesn’t switch to the visual interface. Additionally, is there a way so that images can be cut & pasted into the box?

Are you referring to the demo?

Hi Hassan,

Is there a way for users to submit posts WITHOUT being logged into their accounts?

In the demo, the issue was my cache. I cleared it and it worked*

Hi maybe this will be helpful http://bit.ly/1FIZxu3

Hey, I was looking at purchasing this plugin, Just have one question before I do. Is there a way to allow the user to upload a file through a field and have the field become a download file/ view file icon on the final post? If not do you have any suggestions on how I could do this?

Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi. Sorry for the late response. What you are trying to achieve can be done but you will require some custom code to create the download button/icon on the posts.

Thanks for getting back to me, would you be able to help me make the feature? I am willing to pay for your help.

Thanks

Sure. Please contact me using the support form and we can discuss this.

A quick pre-purchase question:

After a user clicks “submit” in a front-end form what happens? Is the post saved in the drafts or is it published? Ideally, I would like to review the post before publishing.

Thanks.

In the demo it appears that you can restrict the width in pixels, is that correct?

Sorry, another question as well:

Are authors only able to see their own posts in the “posts lists” page? I don’t want authors viewing, editing, or deleting other authors’ posts.

Yes you can restrict the width of the form or any field.

Users only see their own posts in the post list.

Hi there,

This plugin works only with posts or it works with any type of plugin as WooCommerce posts, events posts, etc… ???

It works with all kinds of posts. However it only has a limited number of field types because of which you might not be able to build forms for every plugin. For instance there is no field that can be used for the creation of a product gallery for WooCommerce posts.

works this with UserPro or with the login from wp?

It should be. I have tested it with Theme My Login and it works.

@Imbuit is right, but it’s not related to FPP. It seems that since WP 4.3 the media library is shared between all users. I have this issue in several circumstances : - All my authors have my own medias in their libraries on backend - All users can see all medias when they used the media library with frontend publishing pro - All users can see all medias when they used the media library with any frontend post (for example with the plugin Action User from eventON).

The option “Show users only their media items” doesn’t work anymore because of this new way of use.

Hi. I just tested this on one of my servers and the “Show users only their media items” feature seems to be working just fine. Perhaps the issue is somewhere in your setup. I’d be more than happy to give you access to the said test server so you can see for yourself. Send me a support request if you are interested.

I love the idea of this plugin but as it’s now it seems users are allowed from the frontend to choose image from the media library which also contains all other images used by the admin in the development on the site. This is not good enough update and I will buy your plugin.

Hi. There is already an option in the media settings that allows you restrict access to media uploaded by other members.

I have error at “You don’t have permission to attach files to this post.” Could you kindly help to fix it.

Sounay

How can I change the width of the Frontend submitting form?

There is an option for that in the form settings. I have sent you a fix for the upload issue.

How can i customize the post lists to show the featured image thumbnail. I would like it next to the title in the Live, Pending, Draft [wpfepp_post_table form=”X”]

Hi. Unfortunately this is not possible without modifying plugin code.
