Hi, thought I’d ask again: were using buddypress and the avatars are syncing with the forums. However, in buddypress groups the avatars are not working right. bp_activity_avatar() seems to be the issue. You mentioned there would be a fix, just wondering if you know when that will be? Thanks.

In my activity-loop.php, I replaced bp_activity_avatar();
with global $userpro; echo get_avatar( get_current_user_id() ); not really working for me showing only the main user avatar… have to do more work.
Seems to be pulling the avatars, one thing I notice in wordpress admin backend is the all the avatar icons are the same under Settings>Discussion>show avatars not sure if that is a bug or not either.
So I changed: bp_activity_avatar() and it looks like the proper avatars are now being pulled. I changed it to this:
echo get_avatar( bp_get_activity_user_id() );maybe this will help others.
Also, for members showcase in buddypress groups, you can change bp_group_member_avatar_thumb(); to echo get_avatar( bp_get_group_member_id() );
Login form says:

I use Avada theme. How I can solve this problem?
I have disabled the avada theme and put one of wordpress by default and the problem continues.
I disabled the s2member plugin and the problem not happen
So the problem is with the s2member plugin.
I can not leave out this plugin (s2member).
Also in your advertising it is said to be compatible with s2member. By this I buy userpro.

Its possible to redirect user to the page he came after login? Something like the
/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http://
Looks like the only option is to let user go to his home or a fixed page.
Please go to Settings -> Registration Settings -> choose ‘Refresh page only’ for After a successful registration. This should work.

I am trying to use this plugin on single domain multisite installation. Currently I have 3 sites Community, News, Marketplace. I just need to know which is the best way to install UserPro. Buddypress requires a network installation and then acts Globally on all sites. Does UserPro need to be Network Activated? And if I network activate UserPro do I then need to configure each site?
It will be good if you network activate Userpro. Then you can go to individual site to configure it.
Can I restrict private messages for different member (Free / Payed) levels using your plugin? If so how easy is this to do?

I just bought this nice plugin. But it would be great to have conditional menus settings inside this ( login- logout ). For example a system to show different menus for logged in and logged out users. So, we could not depend on others obsolete and outdated plugins and we’d save a lot of time with an easy setup for people they have a few code knowledge. Many greetings

Thanks for sharing your ideas, Lurito. We have considered this – but the thing is, menus are not part of UserPro’s core functionality. Menus are better handled by the theme itself or niche menu plugins.
We are trying to keep UserPro from becoming any more bulkier than it already is. Having said that though, let me see if we can build a separate conditional menu plugin
Twitter and Instagram are working fine.
But FACEBOOK the majority of the times keep spining a wheel and users have to click 2 times.

Hi, can our users update their information from our own customized forms? Not the login or registration forms but our own forms with our specific fields. Example: We got a form where users can fill in their real estate spending budget. When they fill out their budget, it will update their profile. Can the plugin do this?
Do you mean that you want to have Userpro for login functionality but users will update profile using some other form ? How the other fields will get created ? By some plugin/theme or Userpro ?
Regarding login, we are using a membership plugin which handles the login and registration process. We want our users to update their profile using another form created by the plugin or we can create the form ourselves if needed using basic html. I believe this is such a simple function but I don’t think any plugin does this where users can update their own profile themselves without going to the admin area or registration form.
Userpro uses WordPress native users database so it can work with any other plugin which works with this. About the form – with Userpro users can profile which can be edited through front end. Hope this helps. Let me know if you need any more info.
But can Userspro create a custom form where users can edit their profile with that custom form? Example: I want a form with just 2 custom fields: Marketing budget & Renovation budget. Users can then input their information on these 2 fields and it will get updated into their profile. Is this possible with Userpro plugin?
Userpro can have custom registration form where custom fields can be added. But are you saying that can it be used only for creating a form (not through registration) then its not possible.

As checked the manual, userpro can restrict content for whole page. So, any way to restrict content for specific part on page? (for example, restrict the comment on the bottom of the page.)
Yes you can use [userpro_private] shortcode to restrict the particular content. E.g – [userpro_private]Content to hide from guests[/userpro_private]

Hi, I have the paid membership addon. For some reason members are still being registered and showing on the directory without completing payment. How do I fix this please?

This feature is not available – you can not see h changes are made by user. But admin gets email notification when profile is updated. Thanks for the suggestion
I can’t save any changes whatsoever-can’t add or delete fields. been 48 hours – I got a response to disable other plugins, go with standard theme. Did so: still not working. Please advise SOONEST.

Hi, I have userpro bundled with Pluto theme but I need to buy for another project and in order to get the support. I decided to give it a test run on my staging environment. (I have version 2.47)
When I enable Facebook connect it gives me an error when I try to login: “Cannot sign in. Looks like some error with facebook email id”.
Before it was giving me an error about some issue with facebook permissions and the need to submit it for review
Speaking about this – “Cannot sign in. Looks like some error with facebook email id”. – there are so many users here on the forum that complain about the same issue that it makes me think it is not resolvable.

Just to make it clear – I intend on buying it, I just can;t do it when the functionality that I need doesn’t seem to be working.
Strange… all questions are answered besides mine. Do I need to buy it to have it answered? (It’s a catch 22 for me – how can I buy it when I see so many people complain about the same issue and without assurances that this is fixable).
In the end of the day all I need to know if you can fix it if I buy your product. It doesn’t instill much buyers confidence when simple questions are not being addressed.

If you search the comments here for ‘Cannot sign in. Looks like some error with facebook email id” you would see lots of people asking the same question. I’m not sure how you were not able to replicate it if it is a well-known issue.

1. I have this issue in test environment
2. I need to buy USerPro and I will buy it if you can guarantee that this issue can be solved and you know how to solve it.
3. I’m not asking for solution or support here, all I’m saying – it is a known issue, if I buy your product – do you know how to solve this issue?
It really seems weird that I have to spend 2 days only to get my message across….
