Hi azzaroco,

Referring to URL Blocks….does it works on wordpress created pages only or any other pages as well. For example, my site is www.examplesite.com and I have a php page called ‘sample.php’ in abc folder (http://examplesite.com/abc/sample.php)? Does it able to block the direct access (someone access this page by just copy and paste the link onto a browser) on this page as well?

Cheers

Hi azzaroco,

Thanks for your quick response.

In another words, does that mean twe can’t protect the said page (sample.php) if someone access the page via a browser even though the site (examplesite.com) is a WP site.

Cheers

Hi 4dsniper,

If the sample.php works via WP, the page can be protected even if is access via browser.

Thanks,

Hi,

I have a couple of questions wonder if you can help,

Can we have an option to give users a free trial period? This is something that a lot of membership plugins do and I really need this feature. If this is not something you are adding just now do you offer the option to pay for adding extra features like this?

I have also noticed a couple of other small things that are not on this plugin but would make this plugin even better,

1. Emails for users when registered or when the subscription will expire so they can renew in advance. 2. More information on the membership page such as the subscription purchased, when it will expire option for then to renew, option to add another subscription on top of their current one, an invoice section with their purchases and of course an option for them to cancel if they want to.

This plugin in good but due to it not having some of the above it does not meet the requirements for a business website and I am sure this will be the same for a lot of other people also.

If you can let me know if you plan to do any of the above or can do that would be great, as I am already having to integrate an alternative plugin but would much prefer to use this one.

Thanks,

Hi Studios67,

Thanks for your questions.

On most of your questions, the answer is Yes :). Just follow the last Updates. So, you can set a Trial period based on a certain time or Cicles and with a free or a smaller amount. There is a new Module: “Notification” that let you send Custom Emails on certain situations, like Register, Before Expire, after Expired. On the Account User Page, the user can see what was purchased and can get other access Levels. Still, there we plan to Add new sections and options for users to manage and check their Subscription much easier. Those will be up into the next 1 or 2 Updates.

Most of the Development Team is focused on this Product for the next weeks, months to set and secure it as the 1st Membership Plugin position, not only on CodeCanyon but on the entire www. So, stay in touch and keep an eye on the next updates.

Thanks for the update i will download the latest version and try it our.

You guys have one of the best plugins out there just as i mentioned above a few more changes which looks like you have already done, and you are number 1 in my book.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks,

You’ve done a great job with this membership plugin. Although, I’m a little confused on the proper flow for free/paid members as you intended. It would be nice to give an example, or demo video on how to implement a proper working membership site using all the options. I’ve worked with a number of other membership plugins and each one has a different approach. So, far UMP has a lot going for it.

A few things I’d like to see changed or added.

- Subscriber authentication. This is not so much a problem for a paid level since you won’t be getting many fake emails, but for free as well as paid content on registering it would be nicer to have a two step process where an email is sent to the subscriber for verification with a link inserted back to the final registration form.. Which is already then partially filled with Name and Email from step one.

- Right now the membership registration process is a little backwards. Unless I’m not doing something right? A person must first register and login to be able to purchase a product or service from the membership levels. The problem is this acts as deterrent to the purchasing process. A lot of people will be hesitant to give their email address away prior to purchasing something. It would be better to immediately place an order and complete the registration at the same time. Then upon authentication from the payment service get sent their registration credentials by email to be able to login and access their paid or free content.

Thanks for the quick reply and appreciate the new added update features.

You may want to consider at least to add Google’s No CAPTCHA reCAPTCHA “I’m not a robot” option for the forms to keep the spam down?

Sorry, I see you already implemented reCAPTCHa…. Good Job!

Hi,

Ya, was there from the beginning. :)

Thanks, Indeed

I’m having a hard time getting the plugin to automatically assign the level people pay for. It pushes you to PayPal gateway, allows you to pay, but then doesn’t automatically assign that level to the username. This is leaving behind a lot of unhappy customers from the content they paid for until we go in and manually assign the level.

What could we be doing wrong? The website is http://www.fastvet.com

Hi,

Be sure that the PayPal is set properly and your PayPal account is fully work. Still, we can have a look if you share your request into the Support System with all the necessary details.

Hello, I see paypal is on for payment, but can we use other gateways ? Is it possible to integrate the membership payment as a woocommerce product ? Thank you, Manue

Hi tiwelle,

Thanks for your interest and question.

New Payments gateway are on the way, let say. Soon, or later the new update will be approved and there you will find Authorize.net, Stripe, 2checkout, or Bank Transfer.

Can I restrict private messages for different member (Free / Payed) levels using your plugin? If so how easy is this to do?

Hi liam6224,

Depends how are displayed/handled the Private Messages. Membership PRO doesn’t have a predefined option for that but if is a shortcode or a content box for Private Message, that can be restricted based on Inside Locker module.

Hi there,

I am not understanding how your plugin works with Buddypress but does not Network activate as Buddypress has this function?

However your plugin does not redesign the users profile? This is the behaviour that I want, as I use the Kleo theme which has awesome buddypress styled profile. I just need the additional membership capabilities.

Hi,

Thanks for your words and question.

A Redirect Link out of the Website, is not possible right now. But we will set this desire on our list and we will see if it may be possible to be implemented into the next Releases.

Thanks,
Indeed Team

I understand,

One more suggestion because it is a bit confusing for a new user. When you visit the register page or login page as a logged user, by default the user should be redirected to the homepage as a logged in user. Currently I just got a blank page which is absolutely wrong, it makes it seem that there is some issue with the plugin or in my setup. Only from searching the comments here did I find others who had this same issue. So I am not sure how you can make a correction but it seems it should be simple.

I have decided not to use this plugin because I need a more flexible form builder without some CSS changes and I am not very good at such programming, but I will continue to monitor this plugin for updates and perhaps I will make use of it in the future after improvements.

Hi corpor8chic,

There is not set automatically redirects ‘cause some Customers may wanna set there other content than the Login Form. Still, the Plugin allow you to set a Redirect of the Page for RegisterUsers, or to Replace the Content for RegisterUsers. :) So, basically, what you wanna be done, can be accomplished with 2 clicks but wasn’t set automatically based on what was set before.

A new Update is coming. Other are already on Development.

Thanks,
Indeed Team

One other question: How does the plugin handle a User whose membership expires? Does it move that User to a different level/group, or does it just trigger a lack of access?

The helpful side of having the User moved to a different level/group (or receive a tag of some sorts) would be for email prompts about re-subscribing.

Thank you.

Hi,

Thanks for your interest and question.

Right now, the Level is leave it there, but with a expired time, the access is denied. Still, if an inform about the recurring payments saying that the user Stopped the Subscription, will delete the Level for that user. Your idea, was already implemented into the next update which will be up very soon. So, once a Level has expired, another Level will automatically replace it. :)

Is WooCommerce required for this plugin to work?

Hi Jwrbloom,

Thanks for your interest and question.

No, WooCommerce is not required for this Plugin. It’s works standalone. Still, if the WooCommerce is installed, they can work together.

Hi,

I’m checking the live demo site and found all the form fields missed up, I’m using Safari 8 on Mac. Is there any update coming soon to fix the forms design issue on Safari.

Many Thanks

Hi thamer_alfaisal,

Which version of Savari 8? The last one 8.0.8? On our mac machines is working fine but is not the latest version installed. If we discover something, for sure it will be an update for it.

How can I add the woocommerce account page into the users profile? The details page states FULL woocommerce integration but I get the feeling that hooking the account page into this plugin is not possible am i correct? I need to be able to have my users change their account information from the same page and with the same save button. Can that be done? Also for mymail can users select more options? Like can they change the emails they receive?

Hi nateb2127,

The WooCommerce and Membership Pro are synchronized ‘cause they use the common point: WP Users. So, any user from one side can Login or Manage some of this info from the other side. Still, to set automatically restriction or access for a user, the user needs to pass trough the Membership Register process. Otherwise, it needs to go to the subscription plan. Also, some Custom Fields that are set into the Membership System, can not be managed from the WooCommerce side because WooCommerce doesn’t accept that. Otherwise, the user can be redirected to one page or another and can login using any of this platforms.

Thanks, Indeed

Sorry I screwed something up and double posted

I want to clarify some details before purchasing the plugin.

Is there a option to show user the package he bought and post titles like that info available for him in somepage like my subscriptions page?.

I am from India . If I want to add payU gateway for payment is it possible?

Can I stop enforcing recurring payment system even if the user used credit card for purchase?

Hi tsurendra,

Thanks for your interest and question.

Into the Account User Pages, the user can see that he already purchased a Package/Level. Still, we planning to add there a dedicated section with all the previous transactions/payments.

Another payment gateway can be added by someone else than us. Is a complex process there. Soon, we will release a new version with new Payment Gateways, but PayU is not into our list. If you wanna stop a Subscription payment from your side, you can do that, but is manageable from the Payment Platform.

Need Support?

Just get in touch with our dedicated Support Team:

Hello, how are you?

Is it possible to create users without using “Wordpress users” ?

I need something that allow me to create groups and, inside this groups, some users. The groups will be companies and the users employees.

I dont know how the users are created. As far as i saw, the plugin uses the “Wordpress users” created thru the “Users” menu…

Can you give me a better explanation?

Thank you very much!

Hi,

Please, follow the answer on the previous comment.

Hello there, I am wondering if Membership can expired based on consumption, amount of money they spend on the store. If they spend a limit of $100, their membership expires.

Hi,

Thanks for your interest and question.

The Expire feature is based on how the Level is payed or limited but not about other action over the Website, like a consumption limit.

Thanks,
Indeed Team
