Hi there, is it possible to have multiple search filters on one field in EMD? For instance I am trying emd_last_name,emd_first_name=”Name” but it doesn’t work. I’m not using the display name which means I have to have two separate fields but I only want one search field.

I need to search by name. But if I use display name it won’t return part of the name. So display name is set to Last Name First name. So I have a user called Tom Gilliam and when I search for “Gilliam Tom” he come up. But if i search for “Gilliam” nothing comes up. Can you help?
Guys? Please do answer this one. It is super important. currently, for search to work, all of the name must be put in, not just part of it. I don’t know about you but my members have first and last names.
That plugins of security (free or payment) is recommended to install, to avoid having compatibility problems or errors in USERPRO.

Hello, I bought this plugin and it is a great Plugin but I have this little Issue which I am not able to Resolve and due to that my whole website is stuck. I am using this Plugin with Salient theme. When I try to make a Registration form and add fields to it, after 60 or so fields I can not add more fields. Whenever I add fields they do not get Updated. I have more than 100 fields in my registration form. I have got no solution till now. Kindly reply if you have a solution. Thanks & Regards.

Hello, i’ve problem with “Côte d’Ivoire” in enhanced member directory. I’ve one member from “Côte d’Ivoire” but when i set the filter with country=Côte d’Ivoire the result is “No users are matching your search criteria.”
I think could be an error in character or translation because on folder “flag” the image is calling ivory-coast.png.
Can you fix it?

Yes – you can useusercanedit=0 to disable the edit/delete feature. By default it is enabled.

2. Do you have an ability to use Vkontakte social network to register with bbpress?

1. Userpro provides shortcodes for most of the functionalities including login. So you can use login shortcode in a widget & it works with social login also.
2. Userpro has addon for vk.com – http://codecanyon.net/item/vkcom-social-connect-for-userpro/6726873. It will work for bbpress as well.
3. Yes – with Userpro people can register with social profile including facebook, twitter, insta, LinkdIn and can use bbpress forum.

I haven’t tried with co-author plus. However if you notice any issue you can send us a note and we will try to solve that issue after analysis. With Userpro you can not add several authors to one topic/post.

Not really – that is not part of UserPro’s core functionality – you can hire someone to tweak it for you though

I was interested in using a star rating plugin that allows users to rate different posts on my website. Using that 3rd party plugin, I can use a shortcode to display all of a user’s ratings on a single page.
So here’s my question – Can I insert shortcodes from other plugins into a user’s profile page in order to display their ratings (that is, use the star rating plugin and this plugin together)?

Actually, what I am looking to do is give the user the ability to rate my posts, not rate each other. So it seems that the Ratings Addon isn’t exactly what I’m looking for.

Yes you can insert shortcode on user’s profile. But how that shortcode is supposed to work ? If it does not require any other dynamic info then it should work straight forward.

Hello, I need some help. I need to show in the frontend to the site admin all the info from registered users (not approved yet ones – if that matters).
Q1: The [userpro template=view] page seems to be the one I should use, but it shows only the profile pic and shows a button to edit profile, which then shows all the fields in blank state.
I tried using [userpro template=view include_fields=field_one,field_two] but it shows only the first field and with the same problem of having to edit and showing blank.
Q2: Is this info from [userpro template=view] public or only the site admin + the account owner can view?
1. Edit profile/view profile should display all information provided all fields are added. Please go to Userpro -> Fields and expand edit profile section and see all fields are present. 2. [userpro template=view] template is visible to all.
I sell website templates on my site. And I want to add membership feature. I wonder if I can use your plugin to have different plans. The most important question for me is security for content (themes). I do not want in a month all my content should be in the Internet for free. How can I do download link will be generated each time when user click on download button? Otherwise users can share direct links with others. thanks
With help of Userpro and payment addon () you can set membership feature – users can register/login. But you can not have different plans. It does not generate the download link as well. You will need to use some other plugin which will handle this part. Let me know if you need any more info.
