Hi, i’m using the stockholm-theme and have a bug in the vc. If i scroll down the page and want to change a propertie the modal is at the bottom of the page. i think the top-position is miscalculated. If i don’t scroll it works like it should.
I know that the page is very long. Build an onepager with it. but i need to have it fixed.
The Element.style of .vc_properties-panel is top: 556px, when i delete this entry it works. but my regular author has no programming expierence.

So sifting through all these comments I am still unclear. Will the Visual Composer work without hassle with StudioPress Themes?
Hi, if StudioPress theme is coded according to WordPress codex there should be no problems to use VC there as VC works with any properly coded theme. On ThemeForest 99.9% of themes are following these standards.

Hi, please make sure you have latest VC version 4.6 installed – as received within a theme you should ask your theme author to ask update VC on their side and push it to you. If the problem still exists – theme author should look into this or he can use our support team so our support team can help there.

I purchased the Applay theme that had an older version of VC (4.5.3) bundled with it. I purchased the 4.6 version. I deleted the old files and tried to install the newer version, but I keep getting this message:

When I add a single image element, or even an image gallery, my prettyphoto lightbox opens the image up to a max size of 657 px wide (which happens to be the width of my themes post area) even when I select “full” for the image size, and even though the actual image on the page is the fullsize version scaled down to fit.
When I don’t use the image element and I just add an image with text editor, or without VC plugin at all, the prettyphoto lightbox (built in to my theme) opens at the images FULL resolution. I just want the VC prettyphoto to open my images at their full resolution while using the convenient single image or gallery elements.
Is there a way to achieve this?
Hi, you can overwrite prettyPhoto() function in your theme functions files so it will use theme built prettyPhoto version instead of VC.

Hi, i have visual composer bundled with a theme but i cannot find a perfect way to show up my portfolio items within VC grid elements. I use post masonry grid element for ex, but dont have an option the display portfolio items as we have for posts or pages. Can you pls help? If this is a recent option with the new release i will think about purchasing it. Best regards…
Meanwhile, i have an option in VC named portfolio element but i dont want to use it because it does not have as many options as Grids elements have.
Hi, VC grid element works with pages, posts and custom post types – if you have portfolio created as a custom post types there should be no problem display it with grid by choosing this custom post type as a source. Although there was issues few versions ago so it is recommended to have latest version of VC – currently 4.6.

Hello, I cannot use any kind of post/page grids since the cause instant infinite loops. How am I supposed to use the post/page grid feature at all? I tried post grid on post, post-grid on page. None works. Is there a fix?

Thanks for your reply. There are actually two websites. Both have VC integrated in the theme, so I can’t update VC myself – or at least I am not supposed to. The first website has Dekor-Theme and running VC 4.5.2. The second website has Klaus-Theme running VC 4.5.3. I definitely would update the VC to the current full version myself (I do have a standalone license as well) but I think some theme features would be lost.
(maybe I should mention that all websites – actually three – are in development stage, and I tried the latest version of VC on all three. To no success. In Firefox and Chrome every website I place a post/page grid on displays a nested infinite loop. In Safari so far it looks ok. But that doesn’t help.
I am sorry, Stardust. I solved it. It was a plugin-connected issue: Absolute privacy caused the loop while in lockdown mode for non-admin users. It’s all my fault and I apologize for the stress caused.
Hello. I cannot find the tab that allows me to enter my License Key, in order to do an auto update. I am using the U-Design theme and recently purchased a VC license.

Hi, I am getting ready to optimize a website for a client. I did not build this website, but it looks as if the website was created with the help of VC. I was wondering… Does VC play well with CSS and JS concatenation and minification. If so, is it best to do this manually or can I use “W3 Total Cache” without breaking things?
Hi, we have such idea in mind for ourselves. As for now – we haven’t received any complains yet when using minification plugins.

Hi, you should use wp_deregister_style(‘flexslider’); wp_dequeue_style(‘flexslider’); wp_deregister_script(‘flexslider’); wp_dequeue_style(‘flexslider’) – this needs to be launched before wp_head action or wp_enqueue_scripts.

Hi, if you got VC within a theme there is no option to update VC directly as this is available for direct customers only. In order to update you should either ask your theme author to update VC on their side and push it to you or consider purchasing direct licenses for your sites.

Hi, I’ve recently bought visual composer & ultimate composer. As my previous project is not available anymore & the domain has been deleted by the owner I need to remove registration for this. Is it possible?

Wasn’t able to update to the newest version, because an error occurred which is:
PHP Fatal error: Cannot redeclare hex2rgb() (previously declared in /.../js_composer/include/helpers/helpers.php:1155) in /.../themes/.../inc/lib.php on line 18)
And obviously this problem is being mentioned by others as well. Will you consider a newer fixed update?
