Hello, I have checked your front-end editor on both online and local WordPress and I can see that it loads all scripts twice. I used latest version of WordPress and latest version of Visual Composer with twentyfourteen theme, no extra plugin is installed. I have recently tried to update WPBakery on my website www.thestudentplace.com and it comes up with the message ‘Your licence key is already activated on another site.’ This site was deleted a while ago due to excess spamming and I cannot access it. Is there any other way, I can update it? I can provide my purchase code and envato username if required.

i have this issue just when i installed visual composer, even if it’s installed with default wordpress theme, i also have the same error, you can see it in the Console.

Hello, first of all, I want to thank all of your team for this plugin, my clients are very happy that they can easily edit their content.

I have one little issue though, on the last website I worked on, I did not have access the front-end editor, there was no button on the page while I’m logged in as admin or in the page editor next to “Classic mode”.

Hey, Im using a background image on my row and setting it to “no-repeat” but its automatically applying the style “background-position: 0 0 !important;”. I added a custom class to the row, and I want my background position to be centered, but this style is overwriting it. How do I get my background image to be centered when I select “no-repeat”. I do not want it cover or contain.

In the past, in the short-code handling function (he function registered using “add_shortcode”), it was possible to use the Wordpress function “shortcode_atts” to set the defaults. However, this is no longer possible. It appears to be due to Visual Composer outputting empty fields in the short-code. If our theory is correct, we wish the old behavior to be restored, otherwise many of our existing sites can not be updated safely.

Update: It appears this only happens the first time adding the component. However if later the person makes a change in the settings and saves using the visual composer dialog, the empty fields are removed. However, this would only be a work around, and it is still a problem, otherwise we would not have noticed it and wasted time trying to figure out why a component is not working.

I encounter your plugin with some frequency, as it seems to be popular these days to bundle it with themes. I have to say, while it has some nice features, I am really frustrated with constant conflicts with other plugins. You guys really need to do something about this situation as it largely renders your tool useless and a huge source of sunk time costs for developers like myself. Simply pushing it off as “oh its a problem with the other plugins/themes” – while it may or may not be true – doesn’t address the fact that the problems occur with remarkable frequency, and in varied configurations. If the problem is not with your code, and you are not able to insulate your code from these problems, I don’t see how you have a sustainable piece of tech that developers will continue to use. We can’t hand off sites to clients with the potential for problems that exists with this plugin with its present architecture. A plugin that only functions properly in isolation, or only in very strict circumstances, is not a viable plugin.

Hi, I am trying to upgrade the plugin. When I deactivate it, the message at the top of the page says it has now been deactivated. However, it still shows as active. I can’t delete it, because wordpress says it is still active. Any ideas?
