I have never been able to get my license key to work, how do I fix this?
Hi, if you received Visual Composer within a theme there is no direct license key for Visual Composer – this means you can use VC only with this theme, can not get direct updates and access official support. In order to unlock those features you should consider purchasing direct license for VC.

Hey Michael, quick question for you. I’ve been using VC (different account, sorry for the confusion) and I’m having a bit of an issue: On 2 of my rows, the text boxes show up just fine while I’m editing, but when I publish, the text is completely gone (rows and backgrounds are still there). Any thoughts?
Hi, check if you have any responsiveness “hide” settings for column. Maybe there is some extra class name added to text block. If none of this is the case you should open support ticket at support.wpbakery.com and share your site credentials.

Which then stops the entire site from working. I am using it with the Evolve template which has Visual Composer within it. http://www.moits.com.au
Hi, make sure you are using latest version of Visual Composer – if not, please do update. If the problem exists you should ask your theme author to take a look at this issue to help you out or you can consider purchasing direct license for VC to access official WPBakery support.

Just a quick comment to avoid a support ticket. The post grid works very well just testing it now. However In all of the basic grids I have just tried the image does not link through to the post. The read more link does but not the image. Any css of setting I may have missed?
Hi, you can edit default grid template in Grid Builder and Add option to link for featured to post.

How can i edit text row text color and font or background color of the row?
Hi, text color can be adjusted in text element params window WYSIWYG editor. As for row background – you should go into background params and there is Design Options. Can you please make some way to copy a row/column block and paste it into another page. This is a huge missing feature.
I know this is possible through the old editor.. but I want to be able to select a row and copy the code for it.. and have a place to recreate the row elsewhere based on that snippet. Thanks
Hi, we are thinking of such feature. As for now you should check vc.wpbakery.com/addons/ I believe there should be some 3rd party addon which allows such behaviour.

Hi, post grid has problems to load. Look the console in chrome. The7’s support don´t know what happend with this, sometimes works fine and sometimes not works

Is the resulting code compatible with Microsoft IE8 (or even IE7)?
I know the description says IE9, but I guess that is for VC Composer to work, I need to know if the resulting site (for the visitors) is compatible with older IE versions.

Hi, as Microsoft already dropped support for IE8 and IE7 we do not test VC compatibility with these browsers any more.

Pre-sale question: I am using the latest woocommerce and wordpress. I would like to create a grid showing all of the categories on homepage with a few links to sub-categories underneath. Is your grid able to do this?
Hi, VC Grid Builder works with posts, pages and custom post types. Categories are not custom post type so it is not possible to display them using grid. Nevertheless this is an interesting idea to think about. Thank you for your feature request.

I’ve duplicated my wordpress site, so I could do another version of it, but forgot to deactivate de license key. Now my Visual Composer doesn’t work. What can I do to resolve this problem?

Hi, if your old site is not yet deleted you should go into License tab and deactivate it there and then remove VC. After that you can activate it on new site. If VC on the old site is already removed you should open support ticket at support.wpbakery.com and provide your purchase code and domain where it was activated so our support team can help you out.

I noticed that in one version of the plug-in (4.4.3) there is no POST GRID, why?

Hi, we have deprecated old Post Grid element and added 4 new grid elements. If for some reason they are not there it may be so that your theme author disabled theme for some reason – then I would recommend contacting theme author to get more information on this one.

There are css animation problems with this plugin that needs to be fixed asap. Animations are moving extremely slow, and sometimes it doesn’t work EVEN AFTER THE UPDATE. Causing a huge inconvenience for my company and my clients.

When do you plan to make Grid Elements more flexible? There’s no option to display author’s data, no comment’s count. It would be awesome to have an internal API to define Grid Element layout just like we have internal API to define shortcodes now.
