Hi. I was wondering if this plugin has capability of creating shortcodes for Woocommerce products where it can be placed in Buddypress? What I need to accomplish is to have products from My Account in woocommerce to be displayed in Members’ page in Buddypress. Thank you!
Hello, Visual Composer works with Woo Commerce shortcodes if both plugins are installed – we use default settings offered by Woo Commerce and allow to change them. Nevertheless modifying of Woo Commerce shortcodes by adding some extra new features through VC is not possible – this is something that must be done on Woo Commerce side and then extend VC to accept new params and settings.

Hi, it may be so that your theme author disabled VC Frontend for some reason – try to change theme and see if button appears – if so, I would recommend contacting theme author to get more information as there must be a reason why frontend has been disabled. If this is not the case please check user role access and if this also does not help open support ticket at support.wpbakery.com so our support team can take a look at it for you.

Hi there,
I bought a theme which uses WPBakery as a visual editor. Your plugin was integrated to the theme when I purchased it. My issue is that the creators of that theme (Damojo) have completely abandoned the theme in question, removing it from ThemeForest and their own site too.
So I am left with no update for the theme itself, but also no update for the integrated plugins like yours.
Can I have an updated version of the integrated theme so I can actually make it up to date on my site ?

Hi, can not comment on a theme update – this is something to ask either theme author or Envato. As for Visual Composer updates – we rely on mechanism which is based on Envato issued license for VC which means updates to VC are provided to direct customers of VC who has license key for VC. In other cases it is provided by theme author if they have integrated VC into their theme. If for some reason theme author does not provide VC updates the only way to get updates is to consider purchasing direct license for VC.

When i update the plugin just now, i received notice message :

Hi, could you please specify – if you do not see option to access Frontend editor it may be because your theme author disabled VC Frontend editor – here I suggest to contact author of your theme to discuss it as there should be the reason why he/she did so. If you are stuck on the loading of Frontend then it can be due to JS conflict – try to disable all other plugins and see if VC works, if yes – activate them one by one to determine which one causes conflict. If none of this is the case please open support ticket at support.wpbakery.com and our support team will take a look at your issue and help you out.

Hi, this means you need to deactivate license and VC on the site where it was previously used so you can use it on new project. If you want to use VC on two sites you will need to purchase 2 licenses – 1 per site. If the site where VC was activated is removed please open support ticket at support.wpbakery.com and provide your purchase code and domain where VC was activated so we can help you out.

Hi, Visual Composer works with content part of your chosen theme – this means you can create unique layouts for content within a theme. As for header, footer and sidebar – here you should look on flexibility of chosen theme to see what can be changed there.

Hi, I received VC through the August theme. Using the Call to Action module it says “Define the text that will be displayed below the heading. HTML tags accepted.” under Optional Description. I tried using tag to make a link from a word, but it just makes the entire paragraph disappear. I also tried adding to the beginning and end of the paragraph. Please help, thanks!
ugh it deleted my sample code haha. I used the ‘href’ tag for link and also tried ‘html’ (opening/closing) tags.
Hello, it seems that your theme author modified Call to Action module to accept HTML, because in default VC there is no such option. But it seems there is some problem with it anyway – I would recommend asking your theme author to take a look at it – as this part is his code he should be able to get into this faster and make changes.

Hi! I have my site using a built-in version of Visual Composer. On an another theme demo, I saw that it’s possible to have social grid http://atelier.swiftideas.com/elements/social-grid/, but my theme doesn’t have this feature. So…
- Is it an VC add-on? If yes, which one?
- It it possible to buy and install it as a plugin if I don’t have a personal licence of VC (as it comes with my theme) or should it be integrated in VC?

Hi, there can be 2 cases: 1) social grid was added by this theme author to extend VC – so this is something to ask theme author 2) it is addon as you stated – here you should look at vc.wpbakery.com/addons/ as there are tons of addons and some of them may offer such functionality – you can install this addon also for inbuilt version if there are version compatibility – again this is something to ask addon author and theme author of yours.

Hi, you can use Visual Composer Grid and Grid Builder to create list to display. Please take a look at vcpreview.com there are examples of layouts and elements that can be created with VC.
