Hello great script . Is there a way to set % tax and not a fixed value? i tried to add 20% but it doesnt take the tax as %

ok basically i have 3 major problems
a) i cant add % tax. i can add only fixed rate
b) i cant change the numbering of invoice below the 1000. My invoices are currently starting from B045
is there any solution for the above mentioned ?

Hi,
1) Simply input 20 when adding tax from Settings, it will work as 20% when creating invoice
2) I have made this starting from 1000 as a standard, but if you need this run this query using phpmyadmin or other tools-
ALTER TABLE sys_invoices auto_increment = 45;
And you can always add invoice prefix B or B0.
If you face problem, you can email me a ftp for your installation directory, I will do this for you.

ok i have 2 more questions
a) When you make a New deposit and save it , then if you want to make invoice its not possible. You have to delete the deposit and make the Invoice . or is an other way ?
b) is it possible to add in expences Vat also in order to know what you will pay in PUBLIC ?

a) In that case create invoice & add Payment on that invoice, so transaction will create & invoice will be marked as paid automatically.
b) Are you telling to add an option to input vat amount when adding Expense ? Can you give me little more information with an example.

conserning the (a) sometimes you are not sure if you have to create invoice. So if you create invoice and then cancell it you loose the numbering order. Second Case is if you want to invoice someone later on but you are not sure but you have to add the transaction

Hello, Your requested feature / option is not available, thanks for showing interest. You can email invoice to client directly from the system, client can access with unique url with authentication token & Invoice can be downloaded as pdf.

In your demo, I can see we have a “Add blank line” option when we create a new invoice, But we don’t have this feature when we edit an existing invoice.
Is there any other way we can add items in the existing invoice (not using add Product or Services option).

Hello, Client Profile tag can be edited. May be I’m not following your questions, but a live demo is available with all options enabled, I recommend you test everything & make sure your all your required features is available before purchasing.

Just straight php, no 3rd party framework. It has its own framework to handle things. Typical ledger balance is not available. It’s built from idea Envelop System / Method Accounting. A balance sheet is available which will show all account balances & Sum. You can keep record taxes with invoicing.

I didn’t realize that you could do that. When I add a new custom field I would like to have it editable when I create an invoice. For instance, I created a new custom field called “Work Order Number”. Because each invoice will contain a different work order number, it would be nice to be able to edit this number when I create the invoice.

Just testing the demo, and was wandering if it’s possible to set a recurring Transaction. for example we have “Server Bill at Softlayer” witch can be fixed amount that we don’t need to add each month, instead add it as recurring transaction, and jut stop it whenever we want

Great script so far. In the states we use percentage for sales tax, but when I try to change it, it defaults to dollar amount. Can we change the taxes?
Additionally, when adding a contact, it would be easier to read if I can add a space between the grouping of numbers.
Lastly, if I disable all of the payment gateways the fields of the email invoice link are removed.

1) Yes, you can change the tax. Simply enter the number (No problem it it shows currency prefix) & click submit.
2) I will add this option in next version, so that you can add space between grouping of numbers.

Sorry, I should have been more clear on my comments:
1. The $ in the tax field is kinda confusing. You may want to remove it.
2. The numbers I was referring to was the phone number field, or it would be more professional looking if you could mask it placing the area code, example: (555) 555-5555
3. When you click on the Send Email/Invoice Created and you send the link for the customer to pay. I prefer that my clients send me checks. I disabled all of the payment gateways but the Pay Now button still show. I lined out the code in the client-ivies.tpl lines 139-153 to remove it manually. It would be nice to have that in the settings pane.
4. Like others I would like to have the ability to add quotes and estimates as it’s something I use frequently.
