Have the “Post Carousel” & “Post Slider” elements been removed from Visual Composer….I am rying to make a blog post slider similar to the one shown on the Homepage of the website http://digilabmedia.dk/ ..... is this a design feature possible?
Hi, you should look into Grid elements offered by VC – with them you can easily replicate Post Carousel, Post Slider and grid from your example as well.

Stardust thank you for the response but that answer doesn’t answer my initial question….are you saying that the “Post Carousel” & “Post Slider” elements were created by this “plugin” your recommending this “Grid Elements offered by VC” if so thats misleading then and you should relabel your plugin and take that feature out as an option or let customers know you need to purchase an additional plugin to create this design option.
Hi, Post Carousel & Post Slider has been deprecated – if they have been added to page previously – they will work as they should, there is just no option to add them as they have been removed from VC Element menu. This is why I recommended using Post Grid and Media Grid which substitute Post Carousel and Post Slider.

How can I obtain support for this plugin if it was bundled free with a theme that I purchased thru themeforest. I purchased the Truemag theme I have my license key for the theme but no license key for the plugin so I can’t register fo ask my support question.

Hello,
Visual Composer came bundled with the Total theme. Today I bought the current version from you. I did not delete the old version first. I uploaded the new version and answered Yes to the query as to whether this is an update.
Then I got curious about whether I got free updates. That is when I discovered that I should have deleted the old VC before uploading the new. I checked the settings menu to make sure the Settings->Visual Composer->Product License option was present to upgrade in the future.
It wasn’t.
I deleted the new VC then reuploaded it The Settings->Visual Composer->Product License component is still not present.
OK, what do I do now? Thank you.
Hi, it seems that theme author disabled License tab through theme files – I would recommend asking theme author on where to modify their files so the License tab is visible.

Hi, in text block there is a standard WYSIWYG editor which allows changing color and style. If for some reason there is no such editor it may be so that your theme author disabled it for some reason so I would recommend you contacting theme author and asking to take a look.

Hi. I have an issue with visual composer front end. i insert throught page builder 2 field in javascript to see 2 banner google adsense.
In the page i see correct, but when i try to “edit with visual composer button” don’t appear the front end But only banner. if i try to leave the javascrilt code work nirmally.
how i insert the javascript code without a conflict ?

Hi.. I got this plugin in one of the themes i Purchased. Now when I make tabs… i want unique ids for all tabs.. but not in number as it gives in default.. so as you suggested in comments, I replaced the tab ids by going to classic mode.. But the url of my tabs still contains the letter #tabs- in it… is there a way i can remove the word tab from my url.. it doesnt look nice..as I ll need to share my links with many high profile people. Please help
Hi, currently there is no such option straight away – you can dig into code, but this requires coding skills and will take some time. As for now – we are working on new tab elements where there will be option to fully control ID of tabs as well. We are planning to launch update soon so please hold on a bit.

I bought a theme in the envato Market with Visual Composer. Do I need to activate it?
FYI: I won’t use it for the theme I bought in the envato markeet (because this specific Project won’t be executed). I’ll use it for another theme.
Hi, if you purchased theme and received VC with it you can use VC only with this theme according to licensing. If you wish to use it with other theme you will need to purchase separate license for VC directly.

We have been given back our website from a web developer who has built a custom theme for us in Wordpress. We would like to add visual composer so that we can finish a couple of elements and edit/maintain the site ourselves from now on.
If the site has been coded correctly, will there be an issue installing this plugin even though the site and content is almost complete?
If it has not been coded correctly, will this plugin simply not work, or will it mess up all of the content already there?

Hi, Visual Composer works with existing content of your WP site. As for coded correctly – VC requires theme to be coded according to WordPress codex and have content area defined (part of WP codex). If theme is not coded properly – this can cause some issues, but I can not comment on exact problem as it depends on what was not coded according to codex – maybe it will not cause any problems and VC will work as it should.

Hi, the official support can be accessed with direct purchase code of VC only. As for your issues:
1) Make sure you are using latest version of VC if not please do update. Also try to disable all other plugins and see if VC works properly – if yes – activate them one by one to determine which one causes conflict. Otherwise you should ask your theme author to take a look at it.
2) It seems this is a custom element added to VC by your theme author so I would recommend talking to your theme author to get more information.

Hi, in terms of grid we rely on Bootstrap and currently they do not offer 5 equal columns. Once they will implement it – we will surely adapt to it.

Your plugin came bundled with WpResidence, which I recently purchased.
I’m experiencing an issue with the WYSIWYG editor of the Text Block element.
I’m trying to add this code:

</div>
When I switch to the visual editor and then back to the html editor, this becomes:
<div class="class1">
<h4>Text</h4>
</div>
or, it removes the a tags without leaving any traces. Other times-if I change the code a bit, it just moves the a tags around to some random place and messes up the code.
Some help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Just to point out that in the second piece of code there are also two non-breaking spaces that appear in place of the a tags, which were apparently replaced with the empty spaces in the code you see written above.
