hi – to FTP install latest version is it ok to just upload new and overwrite old files (that’s how i normally update plugins)? or necessary to delete old first, then upload new?

I just updated to the 2.3.4 version and now my eventcards don’t show up like they did… they can now only ‘fold out’ and not show the popup like they did before..
So one of the points of the latest update: FIXED: User interaction not working correct on tiles
Isn’t actually working yet.. Can I do something to fix this?
Also when I want to change settings they don’t work.. when I click any option on the ‘General Calendar Settings’ page nothing happens..

hey, this plugin looks great, i am sure it could fit my needs.
three small questions – 1. is it possible to have a booking option inside an event? i need the user to enter email or phone number and a password – so he could book / rsvp his place. 2. is it possible to show the number of people who booked the event 3. is it possible to limit the number of attendees (so only 10 people could book a place) ?

I am using your plugin on this site: www.smagaarhus.dk You can see it on the right under the header “Arrangementer”. The problem is that it shows no events in the current month, however there are events in this month, and they will show if you first click next month and then click back to the current month. How can this be fixed?

well if you want to show next month use month_incre shortcode variable http://www.myeventon.com/documentation/shortcode-guide/
I dont want to show the next month, but the events of the current month first. Right now no events for the current month are shown unless you first click the arrow to the next month and then click the arrow back to the current month
I dont know what you want then, please use shortcode generator to find the correct shortcode to show what you want to show in the calendar

Great product with the addons. Now i have a question (how-to) regarding use of the Action User addon specific:
This is how i want it to work:
1. Anybody (a user) can register an event.
2. After doing so, i moderate it and move from draft and it get published (the user also get the notice by mail).
3. The user want to edit just their own event, or delete it.
4. He must login to do that and i don´t want the user to see the WP interface, just a login page and it shows his posted events that he can edit or remove.
at the moment editing event is only avialable via wp-admin but we are hoping to develop front-end editing in future releases.

We bought the great WP EventON How can i set in the EventOn Shortcode generator or EventON Basic calender always the last 5 events. No depending on months. So very very basic. Just the last 5 events.
if you want to show past 5 events regardless of months you will need to use out event lists ext. addon. the basic event list addon can not handle this type queries.

We are NOT making you buy our software. I understand it may not fit your wallet. EventON main plugin never had this as a feature and it was added later as an addon.
Does this automatically sync/import with Google Calendar (either a single or multiple Google Calendars?), or do I have to buy the ‘Sync’ add-on in order to keep my EventON widget (I was planning on using just the agenda widget on the front page) synced up with my plugin?

main plugin does not hae any kind of syncing. The Sync addon will pull events from google calendar and you will need to manually sync. The automatic syncing is a feature in plan for future updates. I literary released this addon last night
So if I add everything into a Google Calendar, I can manually sync it and EventON will pull it from the GCal?
But if I make any EDITS to the GCal, I have to go manually sync (with the Sync addon) for the changes to show up?
But eventually, it’ll do this automatically?
And how many GCal’s can I sync with? Can it pull information from two separate calendars?
I have one calendar for upcoming school events and another calendar to denote any schedule changes (pep rallies, bad weather day, etc.), and each has a different color.
Will EventON work with this, or do I have to put it all on one calendar?
at the moment it can only pull from one google calendar. their API is such a pain in the ass, we will add multiple calendars in the FUTURE.

I just bought this plugin and the daily view add on.
I’m trying to find a solution fo the following “problem”
Daily view shows all events from 00:00 to 23:59 but i have some events that start after midnight but the client considers them has the same day.
Imagine this, an event that starts at 00:30 from 6 of june shoul still be seen in 5 of june. Is there any way that i can do this?
oh I see what you mean sorry the way we built out plugin is to show only events that are on that day not to show other events that are not starting or ending on different days
So, theres no solution for this? Other problem is, i can’t save events that start at midnight. If i create and event starting at 24:00 on the day 7 it saves has 1:00

So, an event to appear on day 7 at 00:30 i have to define it on day 6 at 00:30 but i can’t show it on day 6. Odd
So, i can’t re-arrange the order the events are displayed? How can i rearrange events that start at the same time??

Thank you. And there is no limit to number of events. Its a matter of how much memory your web server and your website can handle to manage those events.
Hey, I couldn’t post this on your support forum since I didn’t buy the plugin yet because I need to know something first. Is it possible to set certain events up so a group or a selected group of users are automatically RSVP’ing for that specific (or recurring) event? I really like the look and feel of the plugin but for my projects that is kinda a necessity.

Hi, on your demo page the cursor turns into magnifier when you are hovering over event image so the viewer knows they need to click it to see the full image – mine doesn’t show that – how can i change it?
