Good morning, Starting from the single product, can I then view the articles with the WPHelpere Documentation view? Thank you

I’m not sure I understand your question, but the answer below should help you understand the plugin’s features.

The documentation is for a single product, and all contents will be loaded at the same time. Use the Knowledge base view if your documentation contains a large number of texts.

You can still create a documentation-style knowledge base by adding all of your posts to the KB and linking any of your articles in your website’s main link (like “Documentation”), so users will land on that page (such as https://hostacmee.space/demo/wphelpere/help/how-to-download-ios-app/) and follow the other articles from the article links on the left side.

I am using WP6 and Elementor. I am trying to add FAQ shortcode, but I can not figure out how to add them since my editor window looks nothing like in your how-to screen shots and I can not find documentation on your site on a list of shortcode or how to manually format them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Please disregard, I installed a plugin to convert the editor to the classic editor. Any plans on Gutenberg or even better Elementor support?

It is directly not possible with this plugin but you can add any membership plugin which can support shortcodes to restrict paid contents. I am not sure WooCOmmerce membership extension have controls over other post types because it supports only WooCommerce products.

I selected the “Single Product/Service (single-level categories)”. I have created categories and topics but it is not showing on the knowledge base page, only the header title, search bar and breadcrumbs are visible.

How to sort results? There no any option to show results by ABC or DATE

It’s not about products. It’s about the topics in categories.

WIth every page refresh https://neatho.me/en/kb/zigbee2mqtt/ – list of the topics randomly changes

But I don’t see any changes in the topics order after many refreshes. May be you can contact our support team along with some screenshots or video of the issue that you have.

I see issue with a shortcode: [wph_products display_type=”1” product_cols=”2”] Only 1 item per category is vissible. I have 3 categories but 6 items totaly, shortcode shows just 3 item, not more.

Is there some sort of attachment and review process? For example as part of a faq I want to add a document, can multiple people review the document before publishing?

For example add comments in a comment field and forward the document to someone else to review before it is published… almost like a document management system.

Thanks for your interest in our plugin. You can add attachments just like text contents. For reviewing the article, we just following the WordPress system to create the knowledge base and we are using the default functionality to publish the article. WordPress doesn’t have such functionality if I understood you correctly.

  • Does this work across a multisite like your WP-Shapere plugin? That is, 1 database of your KB shown across multiple sites within the network?
  • Can I shut off your ‘like’ functionality to use WP Ulike plugin instead?
  • Does this KB plugin integrate with post views counter plugin like your WP-Shapere?

You can install the plugin is Multisite and you can show the KB articles on each blog as separate articles only. If you want to maintain the Knowledge base in a single site then you can just install it on the parent site ( do not network activate in this case ) and show the KB articles in the parent site’s front-end theme.
Yes, you can turn off the Like/Dislike buttons.
Yes, post views counter plugin will work with WPHelpere.
