GLOSSARY SHORTCODE

Each glossary comes with a unique shortcode [wptg id=”X”] that you can place anywhere on your website — pages, posts, widgets or page builders. Simply copy the shortcode from the glossary list in your WordPress admin, no need to remember anything.

  • Taxonomy: Choose the taxonomy you want to display terms for.
  • Glossary Page Layout: Choose between 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 column layouts.
  • Parent Term ID: Display all terms, only root terms, or child terms of a specific parent term.
  • Hide Empty Terms: Show or hide terms that have no posts assigned.
  • Hide Posts Count: Show or hide the post count next to each term e.g. News (10).
  • Alphabet Set: Define a custom set of alphabets for non-Latin languages such as Hebrew or Greek. Separate letters by comma and use a new line for multiple rows.
  • Hide Empty Alphabets: Show or hide alphabet letters that have no matching terms.
  • Hide “All” Filter: Show or hide the “All” button in the filter bar.
  • Hide “0-9” Filter: Show or hide the numeric filter in the filter bar.
  • Animation Effect: Enable or disable the animation effect when filtering terms.
