Could you update the Twitter icon and replace it with an X?
Instagram, TikTok, and Telegram are also missing, but there’s a Russian VK. And can you check compatibility with the latest PHP versions? We want to buy the new version; we have the old 2.0, but it’s unusable.
Hello! The new Opinioner version is already available. In this update, the Twitter icon and name have been updated, and VK has been removed. The plugin works correctly with the latest PHP versions.
No new social networks for sharing have been added in this release.
Why does it NOT SAVE my values? I type them in, update and it will remove the values I’ve typed in. Same happens with the sharing logos. If I delete them all, it will show me 2 socials by default. Super annoying behaivor.

However, I found out, that if I create a new opinion with the values, it will also save them.
Your Plugin might have a general problem with updating values.

Can I use this for a voting system where a single person can vote multiple times. A voting system where there is a specified payment for each vote casted.
For instance Mr A can vote 1, 2, 3, or even 1000 time for a particular person. Now, if each vote is $1, and Mr A wants to give 1000 votes for his particular person, then Mr A would be charged $1X1000= $1000 from his payment card.
And if Mr A pleases, he can come over again anytime to cast more votes for his person, or even for another person.

Plugin is not compatible with PHP 8.x or it’s a bug. After adding an opinion and after some time values - Left value and Right value in some opinions disappear. Then the user cannot vote. You can see the results, but not the values. Then you have to delete this opinion because it cannot be fixed, and you lose 100 or 500 votes. It’s already 5 or 6 such a case, and I’m working on this plugin for a client who has about 20 licences.

In any way, the problem should be considered before drawing any conclusions. You can contact us via help@merkulov.design and provide the details and your purchase code.
This plugin is simply not developed and tested! The same problem occurs with different web hosts, with different configurations and when using different themes. This is not a 1st installation problem, but a permanent plugin bug.
From August 2019 plugin had only 2 updates – understand, you do a lot of cheap plugins (very good ones) but this one is really underdeveloped!
We are happy to fix bugs in our product and improve it but for this the problem needs to be reproduced and investigated. As soon as you provide us at least one site where we can consider this problem, we will try to fix it.
The error is such kind, that it must be fixed immediately because no one can vote and this is commented on as unprofessional behavior of the site administrator.
The problem, however, is that you haven’t tested the plugin enough, which hasn’t been updated for months anyway.
Of course, the next time something like this happens, we’ll let you know, but note that someone is taking their time and honestly informing you that there is a BUG in the plugin. This is not a joke, but the facts – a plugin with such a bug should not be released – there is no backup system, no manual data entry, etc. Months of work are wasted!

Hello! The Opinioner graphics are added via shortcodes, so you can add voting for a custom post type as well. You can restrict voting for unregistered users via Assignments settings. Top10’s best/worst is not provided in the plugin.

Great plugin. Great idea! Small bugs after the last update:
1. “Before voting message:” is not displayed
2. Excerpts should not display as a subtitle. The idea of having a subtitle is great, but there should be a Subtitle field and Excerpts should be invisible in the field because they are only needed to determine how a given post is displayed in search results or for SEO.
3. “Show results charts” is not working properly. In fact, it doesn’t work at all. The results are always visible regardless of the settings.

“WORKS GREAT WITH ALL WORDPRESS THEMES”. Don’t write such things because it’s just a lie! You haven’t updated the plugin for a year, you haven’t tested it with many themes, even as popular as JNEWS. If you write “ALL” it means ALL! And not with a few selected themes, and then I have to correspond with your help for a month. I ADVISE EVERYONE NOT TO USE THIS PLUGIN.
