It seems the problem isn’t with the code, but with your server. We don’t know if you’re using self-hosted WordPress or the free WordPress service from wordpress.com. If you’re using self-hosted WordPress installed on your server, it’s likely your hosting server is the problem. Try using wordpress.com.

Also, there’s no problem with other versions, such as the admin panel or Blogger version. Everything works fine and works normally without any issues.

I previously mentioned that the videos were “slow,” but after extensive testing, I have identified the exact behavior causing the issue. It is not a speed issue, but a loading state issue.

The Problem: When I open a post, the video fails to load (shows a black screen or infinite loading spinner) on the first attempt.

However, if I go back to the previous screen and immediately open the same post again (re-enter), the video loads instantly and works perfectly.

I made a new wordpress installation only for this, just to scape from plugin and others “contaminations”

Ps. All videos come from youtube

Can only connect to 1 wordpress site, but the wordpress site url can be changed at any time via remote json.

If you use free wordpress.com, of course you get a storage limit of 1gb, the limit is for file storage on wordpress.com hosting, not for API requests. You need to know that API requests on wordpress are unlimited, then, if you want get more or unlimited storage, you can use premium wordpress.com services or self-hosted wordpress.org installed on your own web hosting and domain.

Can you hide the YouTube logo, or can you block clicking on the YouTube logo link in the Video Player? This may violate YouTube policies.

For the youtube logo, it cannot be removed and does not violate youtube policy, in fact it is a standard implementation using youtube iFrame API, because YouTube Android Player API is no longer supported by Google, and the API provided by Google is YouTube iFrame API itself, so we think it is okay.
