Hello,

One pre-sale question for you.

At your item details page, you listed that feature

Show all menu items to specific or multiple administrator users.
which I want to understand clearly before a purchase.

So let’s suppose, If there are two different admin users in WordPress then, is it possible for one admin to hide some menus of other admin whereas all menus are available to the first one?

Thank you

Hi,
Yes, it is possible. For more details please check the following link http://kb.acmeedesign.com/kbase/i-want-to-hide-certain-menu-items-for-specific-users-but-not-myself/
Hope this help.

Hello

Your bug plugin, each time saves the settings, redirected to the login page

For the update think add function, replace “Howdy, foo by” Greetings, foo

Thank you

Hi,
The problem is the WordPress function admin_url() (https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/admin_url) doesn’t retrieve your custom admin url (wp-admin > adm). Most plugins use admin_url() function to retrieve admin url that’s what we used for getting the admin url and that is the WordPress standard.
It is not a bug from our plugin, may be WordPress team rewrite the above function in the future to get custom admin urls correctly.

Hello,

We need this plugin Why did you disable url customize admin? I have to ask the plugin developer something?

Thank you.

Hi,
We didn’t disabled that. It’s limitation in the WordPress core function. Anyhow we will check for any possibilities for detecting custom admin url (instead of wp-admin) and if possible will add it in the future updates.

Hi,i am interested to buy this plugin but have few questions. 1. i want to hide which theme and plugins i am using from my clients and also the update messages and advertisement from the dashboard.

2. Is it possible that when i deliver the website to my customer with the admin rights then this plugin “WPShapere” is hide as well so the client cannot open it and unhide all the stuff which i hide even if he has the admin rights?

Thanks Regards, SaShah

Hi,
Apologies for the delay.
1. That feature is not available with the plugin. But you can remove the link to the Appearance and plugins pages from the admin menu so your client won’t see the themes and plugins you’re using.
2. Yes, it is possible with “Privilege users” feature available in WPShapere. http://kb.acmeedesign.com/kbase/i-want-to-hide-certain-menu-items-for-specific-users-but-not-myself/
May be this help ?

Hi,
No. You cannot use multiple menu customization plugins which will conflict each other.

Hello, I have a problem. What am I to do if I am forgot password the main admin? I was clicked the lost password button, but it was not send me link to reset the password. The secondary admin can login, but it’s not full menu items. Thank you.

Hello friend, I have a lot of interest in your product, but I wanted to ask a question!

I use two wordpress plugins that stay visible to people who are not site administrators.

They are the yoast and the thrive leads they appear when collaborators log in. And I do not want that to happen.

The thrive leads appears in the admin sidebar and within the edition of the posts. And the yoast appears in the top bar and in the editing of the posts. I would like to know if it is possible to block these options with your plugin.

I want my employees to only have access and see areas such as: View Forum Posts Recipes (because my website is about recipes) Profile Comments (so they can respond to comments on your articles.

Is it possible to make these types of edits with the plugin?

Thank you!

Hi,
Apologies for the delay. Alter has a lot more different features than WPShapere which is dedicated to White Label purposes only. And WAT has 43 inbuilt themes. And the reason we have different plugins is cost and features which suits different needs of the buyers. You can check the item description and screenshots of both the plugins to get an idea about the features available with both plugins and you can decide which suits your needs.
Hope this help.

I checked the two plugins if I am not mistaken it means that Alter is a WPshapere with more functions is this?

Does Alter besides have the functions of WPshapere it comes with other new functions?

If that’s for sure I’ll buy Alter!

One more question does the plugin remove the help bar just from the dashboard or from the posts pages as well?

Thank you!

Hi,
Yes, Alter has the same function of WPShapere + new features (except WPShapere has 16+ number of inbuilt themes whereas Alter has one theme but you have the feature to set your own color theme.
The plugin will remove the help bar totally from all pages in the admin area.

If i have 1 editor account or another administrator account, i can hide some buttons for them?

Hi,
There is no feature to hide buttons but you can simply write custom css in the WPShapere custom css option to hide unwanted buttons.
