It doesn’t work. Checking “Remove product category base” checkbox generates 404 errors. Installing “Remove Taxonomy Base Slug” plugin neutralizes this error. The Woocommerce SeO Layered Nav widget also generates 404’s when filtering on product attributes.

Can you please try refreshing your permalinks (Settings > Permalinks > Save) and see if that works. If it doesn’t please email me your site address and access details and we can take a look.

If you guys have document please send me to understand how to use this plugin. Thank you so much!

Documentation has be found here: http://docs.codeninjas.co/woocommerce-seo/

Do you get any errors when activation the plugin?

Installed the plugin, and today updated to latest release. Running WordPress 4.6 and WooCommerce 2.6.4. This resulted in 404 errors on all the website. Tried to re-save permalinks, that did not help. Reverted the update for now to version 1.1.5 which was the one received when plugin was bought (3 weeks ago). Please provide a solution or patch ASAP as current version generates warnings and errors in our logs. Contacted you also on your support email. This is critical as we are about to launch the product.

Replied to your email.

There are no errors in the logs unfortunately. And we can’t give you access to the website. After update of the plugin all pages go into 404.

You said the current version generates errors and warnings in the logs though?

I’m a little unsure how to help you it i can’t have access to the site to see whats happening and to debug the issue.

It working fine on our development site and the demo site (http://demo.codeninjas,co/woocommerce-seo). How you you propose we fix this without having access to the site?

Just upgraded to the latest version and my site links no longer work when clicking from a category page to a product. It goes right back to the category. Something is going on. I had to temporarily deactivate. I tried resetting permalink, cache, etc., but nothing worked. Just letting you know!

The link does actually show the product link, it just shows you the category. This is the same for every product when clicked. Hope this is helpful.

I mean, it shows the product url but goes to the category page.

Hi there,

Can you please email me your website and access details and i can take a quick look.

Thanks

Good night, after updating returns this error.

Everything is updated and resolved if you disable this plugin.

any ideas?

Hi,

It’ll be difficult to tell without seeing the site. Can you email me the site and access details and i can take a look?

Hello, probably more than 2000, email sent.

does it work with Woocommerce 2.6.7 and Wordpress 6 or 7 ??

Hi there,

The plugin if fully compatible with the latest versions of Wordpress and Woocommerce.

I assume you mean Wordpress 4.7, We haven’t tested it yet so can’t comment on compatibility at the moment.

After installation there is no change in category URL i.e. (/product-category not removed), it is still same as before, but a little change is, the URL are not opening and showing 404 error page. and If I change the URL by delete manually /product-category in the URL, they are working fine. Please advise..

Replied to your email. Please keep communications there to stop the comments from getting messy :)

Hi, is it possible to add in product category title, the default category and the parent category?

Thanks, Stathis

Hi there,

Yes. When you use the category tag in the title, one of the options is ‘parent’ which will output the parent categories also.

The demo does not have custom urls? Is it possible to have? domain.com/catname/ and domain.com/catname/productname/

Hi there,

Just fixed the demo. The category base is now removed : http://demo.codeninjas.co/woocommerce-seo/games/

And we’ve also set the product permalink sturcture to / product_cat which will give you your domain.com/catname/productname/. have a look here http://demo.codeninjas.co/woocommerce-seo/games/final-fantasy-iv/

The link to documentation does not work (bought the plugin), how can I configure it?

Found it at http://docs.codeninjas.co/woocommerce-seo/

And I should add: category (for other peoples references)

Hi, I use a filter/search plugin and your plugin crashes this when the search result is showing. Just showing the same result all the time…Do you have a fix for this issue?

Hi there,

I assume your using the pretty filters options in the plugin?

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee or provide compatibility with all the different plugins out there. Our plugin changes the core way in which Woocommerce handles filters to make them URLs pretty and its obvious that other plugins will not know/be able to use that same URL.

So unfortunately, no, we do not have a fix for this.

Hope that makes sense

How to make this work for products? Product pages are broken, and I dont get reply to my email :-(

Hi there,

We replied to all of your emails. If you want the categories in the product URL then you need to change the product permalink base to be product_cat .
