Also a security vulnerability has been detected: ‘The UserPro plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authentication bypass in versions up to, and including, 5.1.1. This is due to insufficient verification on the user being supplied during a Facebook login through the plugin. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to log in as any existing user on the site, such as an administrator, if they have access to the email. An attacker can leverage CVE-2023-2448 and CVE-2023-2446 to get the user’s email address to successfully exploit this vulnerability.” Will this be fixed and update provided?

Well, at some level this plugin replaces “UserPro user profiles with social login”.
But I’d advise to buy full version of it, not the lite, because of functionality, and updates, that are released way more often.

I use a membership plugin that has no option to manually approve new users. Can I use this plugin for that, and for that only? It should not interfere with other aspects of the registration workflow, just prevent automatic approval of new users. There is a free plugin called New User Approve, but it is buggy and not really supported anymore.

I currently have a site I believe may be better suited to ‘UserPro Lite’ as I wouldn’t require the full features of the original version for this particular website. Can you please confirm whether your ‘UserPro – Woocommerce addon’ would work with the Lite version, or should I stick to the full version for this? Thank you.

Right now I am using the Userpro plugin, but I am looking for alternatives because Userpro loads a HUGE amount of .js and .css files and increases a lot my website load time.
