Can you show page with your player where video is encrypted?

You are confusing the page source with the page elements inspector, in the page elements like in the images that you sent me is not possible to encrypt the video source since HTML is an opened standard but if you open the page source using CTRL+U or right click and view source you see that the first video in the playlist is encrypted like I expined in the previous replay. Currently this is the best that it can be done.

I am not confusing anything, you are misleading customers.

What people know how to right click / view page source and not open browser developer console.

Not to mention videos can be downloaded with any download manager.

I will try to improve this explanation “Optional encrypt video source / path. Using this feature will not allow a user / software to see / steal the video source / path from the page source.” even though in my book there is no confusion made.

Version 4.9 Release Date 15.06.2018

  • Added optional encrypt subtitles source / path. Using this feature will not allow a user / software to see / steal the subtitles source / path from the page source.
  • Added VASTVideo Ad Serving Template” support, currently only support for linear single or multiple (pods) video/videos (pre-roll, mid-roll, post-roll) ads. Please check out our example pods (multiple videos) .
  • Added the possibility to set VAST start time in hh:mm:ss. This is an invaluable and unique feature only that UVP has since the VAST template dosen’t have any rule about when to play the ads and this is left to the video player publisher.
  • Added optional keyboard support (F:fullscreen / normalscreen, LEFT/RIGHT ARROWS:skip video 5 seconds forward or backward, UP/DOWN ARROWS: volume up or volume down, M:mute/unmute, SPACE:play/pause)

Best regards. Tibi – FWD.

Silly question, but whenever you release an update, what file(s) do I need to swap out on my server? Is it ALL the files inside the ‘js’ folder? And that’s it? Is it the same process for all updates?

Hi.

Usually you need to replace the js file that is all you need but if you need some of the new features some of them will have to add some extra parameters in the constructor or the HTML tags, just read the documentation on the section that you want to add for example now I’ve added VAST support, just read the VAST section and it will clear things up.

Best regards. TIbi – FWD.
