Hello and thank you for making this amzing plugin. I have a few questions that I would love them to be answered.
1-Is it possible to replace the default search with another one using a shortcode? 2- Can I customize the full screen search background (black by default) to transparent and cancel the search (hide mobile keyboard and navigate the site) when the user clicks away of the search bar (anywhere else on the page besides the search)? 3- I see that the last time the plugin was updated was 2022, any future plans to update it to last wordpress versions?

Hello,
I downloaded your plugin from Elements Envato and I enjoy using it. However, I do notice a bothersome bug that always pops up. When I eventually transfer the site to the live domain I get this margin issue that I can’t solve with CSS https://prnt.sc/G6q0o4ZOTpyh

Hi again. I don’t recall anyone contacting us before about Touchy’s header not being in the actual header. We haven’t seen this throughout development either. It must be a peculiarity in certain circumstances as sometimes strange things can occur when tens of thousands of lines of code from different developers gets put together; that’s where support comes in.

I bought this plugin a few years ago and it’s always worked fine, but the version I’ve installed is 2.3, while I see you’re currently at 4.7. Unfortunately with the latest update of the WP theme that I use, the menu is also shown to me on the desktop and this is obviously not good, so I had to go back to the previous version of the theme to not have this problem. I thought that by also updating the plugin to the latest version, perhaps the problem would be solved. How can I update the plugin while keeping the current settings? Doesn’t the system offer me automatic updates? Thank you very much
Hi there. 2.3 is quite old by now. We’ve had big changes in the meanwhile and optimized the plugin quite a bit since; this has resulted in some function names changing as well, meaning you’ll probably have to enter settings again.
We recommend a nice cup of tea/coffee and entering your settings again, I’m sure you’ll find some nice new features you may wish to apply as well 
It’s an inconvenience for older customers but a needed one to keep TapTap up to date with current standards.

hi! Is it possible to insert my own shortcode instead of one of the buttons, for example, I want to add a wishlist. How can this be done? I am also interested in whether there is an opportunity to replace the basket icon with my own, since what is there does not fit the style.

Hi, you can color customize each button differently, add text labels, change the menubar height, its distance from edges, use any icon from the FA icon set, and override the default links with your custom links. Plus much more as described on the item page

That’s fantastic so last question before to buy. Is it compatible with every theme around? I’m asking because I’ve had in the past some problems with some other plugins so better ask before. In case of problems or incompatibility with my theme you’ll support me troubleshoot the problems?
And, sorry but I’ve forgot, I need to retain also my standard site menu and use this plugin to show just some link at the bottom and only in mobile. Can I do that or the plugin completely replace the standard site menu?
Touchy doesn’t replace any element in your theme unless you specify so. And it works with all themes coded according to WordPress standards.

Thanks but since I can’t figure out if my theme is coded according to WP standards, I’d like to know what happen if the plugin, in a way or the other, doesn’t work. Sorry for insisting but this happened some time ago with another plugin and I don’t want to repeat this again.

Hello presale question. I’d like to have that situation. Your plugin show the mobile menu when someone is browsing the site from mobile but without hiding the regular site menu, just having, for example, an overlay menu at the bottom of the site with some options I choose…
Yeah, that’s completely doable with the settings included in the plugin. Just be sure to specify the display resolution range in the Misc section as well. If you need pointers, send us an email through the contact form on our profile.

Pre Purchase Question …
I am not able to glean from your product write up if this is exactly what I need, so please excuse my questions if they sound off.
So if I am understanding this correctly, your plugin will allow me to bypass the theme’s basic mobile navigation by allowing me to add additional content in the drop down menu. Right? It will also allow me to add sub-links under main links as well as non-linked text in the menu area as well?

Touchy is a stand-alone menu that can be set up in a variety of ways as can be seen on the demo sites. And yes, it has the option of hiding your theme’s mobile menu.
EDIT: And yes, it has the option to add widgets into the dropdown as well, so you can add unlinked text, images, videos etc. (a few of the demo sites show this also)

How do you change the accent color at the top of the menu (bottom positioned) when the menu is open? It only shows the default Wordpress blue color and there is no way i can find to directly access it through twenty twentyone theme nor your touchy settings, please help… otherwise absolutely love the plugin!!

I can’t find this answer anywhere: there’s a blank space above the widget area, and I can’t find where to change the top bar color from the teal. Any help?
Figured out the color issue. Took some trial and error to realize what the “menu end marker” was in the drop down menu settings. Also realized that the blank space is the menu title area. Still can’t get rid of that, even when the widget title is blank.
