Hi. i bought your plugin but i’m still having issues using it. -) i was forced to install video template by FTP copy because throught wordpress installation seems not work -) So i created the survey with video products.. and i started to vote. My questions: 1) i want clean and reset the survey results, so that i can be able to vote again with my account. How i can do that? 2) I can’t find into phpmyadmin the table of this plugin. About installing the templates issue, Did you get an error message ? What was it?
1) To reset the poll results, Go to your poll edit page from wp-admin, And select “Override Votes” from “Choices” tab.
By this, You should get the number of votes for each choice, Set each one to 0, And you should be fine.
2) TotalPoll doesn’t create a table for polls, Just for performance sake and for safety reasons, It uses the wp_postmeta table that comes along with WordPress.
To get your poll data use the following code :get_post_meta($poll_id, '_tp_options', true);

1) with override votes i can “clean” manually and put 0 each vote field, but if i refresh the page, i cannot vote because is stored that i have voted before. 1) Oh, Okay we will work on a small addon to do that within the next days, Currently as a temporary solution, We will suggest you to duplicate the poll using a free plugin like Duplicate Post, And use the new duplicated poll, That should fix the problem.
2) Well, You were asking about the polls table in databases, So our answer was for developers who wants to get poll info through backend, But as a user, Obviously you should use the shortcode within any post/page, Please check Using Shortcode in TotalPoll user guide for more info.

I’m really interested in this plugin, as I want to use it as part of a membership site. Essentially, on one page I want a list of all open polls (which are simply vote up or vote down questions), that users can then vote on. Essentially something like StackOverflow, where there’s a list of questions that you can click through to see more of.

How can get function to disable ajax to increase pageview? Do you have demo? Where to put ads at that poll page? Demo?
To disable ajax you can use the “Disable Ajax” addon, We still dont have a demo for that.
The ads can be anywhere within the poll page, The sidebar for example.

I need a poll-plugin which can do following, and my question is: CAN YOURS do this?
A: Perform a POLL – but upon submission, display a page asking for AGE, POSTCODE, GENDER (must be completed in order to submit)
B: Option to add comments also
C: IF logged in, automatically pull the required data from the existing fields on the user-profile, for statistic purposes.

I’m had recommended TotalPoll Pro plugin to someone I know and currently working on setting it up for him on his site. While testing I found out that download logs feature is not working.
When I click [Download Logs] or [Download old logs (Deprecated)] button I get an internal server error and php generates an errormalformed header from script. Bad header=txt: post.php, referer: https://url_removed/wp-admin/post.php?post=1126&action=edit

Secondly, the height of the ‘div’ surrounding the result’s canvas element should not be fixed.. It leaves too much vertical space (because the width takes priority in the doughnut chart type) and appears bad on mobile devices in portrait mode.. I have temporarily fixed it by modifying totalpoll/templates/chartify/results.php line 8 and removing the ‘px’ from the end and setting the canvas height to ‘auto’. http://prntscr.com/5we0akIf a fixed height is necessary for cross-browser compatibility please let me know which browsers are affected.. If there is no issue of cross-browser compatibility please make the above changes in future updates..

I’ve bought the plugin and all available addons and I’m happy with it. I have only one problem that I need to ask about. I made the translation (po files) for both plugin and addons. The translation works for plugin, but does not produces changes in addons. Yes I know, I can edit directly the addons files, but that means that for future updates I need to do it again. Have an explanations for this situation?

Hm, Please make sure that the translated po file names are correct, And also a valid mo file generated as well.
So if lets say you’re translating max-selection addon, Then go to totalpoll/addons/max-selection/languages and duplicate the file “tp-ms-default.po” and change “default” with your language code, So if you’re translating it to “russian” for example, The file name should be “tp-ms-ru.po”, And use a software like poedit to translate it and then save, The mo file should be auto generated.

I need to use only the form of poll created because I am adapting to my layout. And I’m not creating a new poll template, do not have this knowledge and technique. The best for me is to copy the form generated by a poll that has already been created, and adapt to my template (remove imput button, want it to be clickable only an image and a button).
