Finally succeeded with your product. Love it. Is it possible to have NAV for mobile devices and SIDE MENU for mobile devices of the same website

Hello Booysen,

Please try enabling “NAVBAR FOR MOBILES” setting, and setting threshold point for mobile screens. Navbar will appear if screen width is smaller than this point. You can find it in “Supefly menu settings/BUTTON” This setting is applicable to mobiles only.

I’m using the “skewed” menu and would like menu objects (logo, search bar, page names) to NOT move or change positions as browser size or viewport size changes. Is there a way to make everything sit still, near the top? The current spacing between objects appears random at times. I want one look, all the time, regardless of the viewport size: everything in a static position within the menu, all with equal spacing between objects. Any chance you can assist? I’ve been tinkering with style changes for longer than I’m willing to admit.

Hello, please try http://superfly.looks-awesome.com/docs/Customize/Customize_Appereance_on_Desktop Align menu items to the top instead of middle of the screen

Hi Pre sale question!! can i use it only for woocommerce pages?? other part of the site i want use normal word press menu!! is it possible… can this be achievable simply by choosing some settings? Thanks

Hello vm3567,

You’ll be able to choose where to show this menu by using display rules.

First you’ll have to create new menu for Woocommerce in Appearance/Menus /> https://www.dropbox.com/s/5enihdgy9ab8q6h/Screenshot%20at%202017-01-03%2017%3A39%3A47.png?dl=0

When you add this menu to Superfly via Superfly menu settings and click on the orange button with it’s name, you’ll see the display roles for this menu and will be able to choose the pages, Superfly should be displayed at:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/dk92s38lf3t55w6/Screenshot%20at%202017-01-03%2017%3A44%3A03.png?dl=0
https://www.dropbox.com/s/c8u1h8egnzwmatr/Screenshot%20at%202017-01-03%2017%3A01%3A16.png?dl=0
https://www.dropbox.com/s/pdmiaax4prepavv/Screenshot%20at%202017-01-03%2017%3A51%3A03.png?dl=0
https://www.dropbox.com/s/o21ydel3cql3qgu/Screenshot%20at%202017-01-03%2017%3A01%3A25.png?dl=0

Please note that this menu is bound to actual pages, that can be found in your Wordpress Dashboard/Pages list. For Woocommerce these pages are: Shop, Cart, My Account, Checkout. It won’t be displayed for product categories or tags if you don’t create actual pages for them.

I am using superfly on x theme and cant figure out what css to use to make superfly appear under the header instead of overlapping the header

I found that this fixes it but how would this have any adverse affects ? .sfm-no-mobile.sfm-pos-left body, .sfm-no-mobile.sfm-pos-left #wpadminbar { padding-left: 0 !important; }

I found out that even though :

.sfm-no-mobile.sfm-pos-left body, .sfm-no-mobile.sfm-pos-left #wpadminbar { padding-left: 0 !important; }

Fixes my issue , it messes up the padding when the window becomes smaller and looses its responsiveness by becoming overlapped.

with latest plugin version, the hamburger menu always floats on top of every popup or modal box or any other overlay. So how can I make the menu invisible on overlays only?

PRESALE: I’d like to know if it’s possible to have horizontal menu in desktop devices and vertical ONLY in tablets/mobiles leaving the main menu button INTACT? Also, there’s some lag in brausing through demo, it this normal? I want to get as smooth as possible :)

Kanchenjunga

Kanchenjunga Author Team

Hello Majklas,

Superfly menu doesn’t influence other menus. You’ll be able to display it on tablets/mobile devices and hide on desktop devices using CSS. You’ll also be able to hide default menu button (label) and toggle menu from any element like button, link, image etc.
http://superfly.looks-awesome.com/docs/Customize/Custom_Menu_Trigger

But I’m not sure if you’ll be able to bind opening Superfly menu on mobiles to the button that is already used for opening your default non-Superfly on desktop without JavaScript conflict.

There’re usually no lags in menu work :)

I want to use Superfly, but I don’t know how! I can only see the theme’s menu. I can not exchange it against the theme’s menu. I bought x-theme because I can not program with CSS. Is it important for Superfly to be able to program? In “Getting Started”, you should upload and install “superfly-menu.zip”. I do not have a ZIP file, because the plugin was already in the x theme and I had to activate it only. I can also make many settings, but on the website the menu is not visible. The link is: http://www.shop.wohnkult.net/. The site is still at the beginning.

Hello KleineLady,

If you have already activated the plugin, please open “Superfly Menu” in Wordpress dashboard. You’ll see the menu settings tabs.

Than please follow this guide: http://superfly.looks-awesome.com/docs/Getting_Started

Please do not forget to enable menu button visibility after setting up Superfly menu. You can do it by enabling button visibility option in “Superfly Settings/BUTTON”

If something goes wrong, please look at this guide
http://superfly.looks-awesome.com/docs/Troubleshooting/I_Cant_See_Menu_or_Button_on_My_Website

To hide your theme’s menu and leave Superfly only, please add the following code into “Superfly Settings/ADVANCED/ADDITIONAL CSS”

Presale Questions :-

If activated, then where to add/edit the items? From WP Menu Section? or You Special menu Sections?

Coz i’m using “Ultimate Member” plugin and it has custom menu settings – which are available in WP Menu Section, Just want to know if those “Ultimate Member” menu options shows up in your Menu plugin settings page to enable.

and Is there any docs available (or) online videos at the moment? to check the settings/options page?

Thanks for your valuable time, Good Day!

Kanchenjunga

Hello chanti098,

You can create/edit menus that will be used by Superfly via “Appearance/Menus”.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/vm37uxbefsf6dif/Screenshot%20at%202017-01-20%2013%3A27%3A35.png?dl=0

Than set those menus as source for Superfly (“Superfly settings/General”). You can also set alternative menu, created at specific page or somewhere else, as source.

I see that you’re using “Ultimate Member” plugin on your site, So are you able to show the Display Picture in Menu when people logs into the site?

Thank you for your time & support buddy! :) Will purchase a license soon!

and one more question, Does your plugin conflict with WP Rocket (or) Hide My Wp plugin?

I purchased this menu two years ago and never tried to use it until now and it seems to be in major conflict with the theme I’m using. As soon as it’s enabled on any page all of the center page content disappears. I can see the main body tag background, but all other divs are gone (It’s installed on my local dev machine at the moment because I don’t want this type of error happening publicly).

Any suggestions?

I’m wondering if it has something to do with the container for the slide out layers?

Hello Highexodus,

Does it happen when Superfly menu is opened?

Which Superfly design option do you use: side panel, navbar, fullscreen or skewed panel? You can find this setting in “Superfly Settings/GENERAL”. If “Push content” behavior option is set, please try using “Slide in” option instead.

Hi there,

On a current website, I have this setting : HOME – LOGO – MENU When I click on Menu, it triggers a fullscreen menu, but it’s really basics, and I would like to improve it with Superfly Menu.

So I have currently 2 menu set : NAV MENU with Home and Menu MODAL MENU with all my pages

My question is how to trigger onclick the Modal menu, clicking on the Menu item ?

I have read : http://superfly.looks-awesome.com/docs/Customize/Custom_Menu_Trigger I don’t understand what I do wrong … In Advanced, I typed : .superflyme in ADDITIONAL ELEMENT TO TOGGLE MENU In my menu, on the Menu item, I typed : superflyme in CSS class and in Attribute, just to be sure I tried also with and without the . and the #

Any guidance please ?

Website is local for now only …

Ok so I managed to make it happen but … In fullscreen, it seems that none of the controls are working.

Here’s what I need to change : font-size padding between the items adding a background image text color on hover social icon size

Thanks for the answer,

Bastien

Hello BastienBERENGUIER,

The menu in the fullscreen mode tries to fit all items in viewport and adjusts font-size on the fly ignoring admin setting.

Please use ADDITIONAL CSS field in “Superfly Settings/ADVANCED” to add your own rules/
https://www.dropbox.com/s/xqe74mj5ndiuydn/Screenshot%20at%202017-01-22%2018%3A42%3A21.png?dl=0

CSS rules for font-size and line-height for menu items:

#sfm-sidebar .sfm-menu li a{
font-size: your_font_size !important;
line-height: your_line_height !important;
padding: your_padding_value !important;
}

/*Submenu items level 1*/
font-size: your_font_size !important;
line-height: your_line_height !important;
padding: your_padding_value !important;
}

/*Submenu items level 3*/
font-size: your_font_size !important;
line-height: your_line_height !important;
padding: your_padding_value !important;
}

You can also set top and bottom padding value in “Superfly Settings/MENU ITEMS/Customizing items/PADDING OF MENU ITEM” without using CSS.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/3e75xu18ur7nolp/Screenshot%20at%202017-01-22%2018%3A09%3A46.png?dl=0

To add background image please use “CUSTOM BACKGROUND IMAGE” setting in “Superfly Settings/MENU PANEL/STYLING”.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/eei9b59s1c8hme9/Screenshot%20at%202017-01-22%2017%3A31%3A23.png?dl=0

To make it visible please use the following CSS:

#sfm-sidebar .sfm-sidebar-bg{
opacity: 1 !important;
}

Active page item color and menu item highlighting color correspond to the color set as background for second level in “Superfly Settings/MENU PANEL/STYLING”.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/eei9b59s1c8hme9/Screenshot%20at%202017-01-22%2017%3A31%3A23.png?dl=0

If you want another color for items highlighting, please enable “Solid color highlighting” in “Menu items/HIGHLIGHTING OF MENU ITEMS ON HOVER”
https://www.dropbox.com/s/ydag3b237vu8rkr/Screenshot%20at%202017-01-22%2017%3A44%3A37.png?dl=0
and add the following CSS:

#sfm-sidebar .sfm-menu li > a:hover:before {
background-color: #your_color !important;
}

The CSS rules corresponding to default values for social icons are:

#sfm-sidebar .sfm-social li, #sfm-sidebar .sfm-social li a:before, #sfm-sidebar .sfm-social li a:after{
font-size: 24px !important;
line-height: 24px !important;
width: 45px !important;
height: 45px !important;
}

Please play around with this values to change icons’ size. Please note that these parameters can be overrided by your WP theme.

Best Regards,
Looks Awesome
