Hi, I’m quite interested by this player. Does this player handle hls streaming in multiple quality ? with a manual quality selector/switcher on the player ( i.e 1080, 720, 576… ), or automatic switch based on bandwidth ?
Unfortunately I didn’t find many things about hls in the online documentation

yes, player can handle m3u8 in multiple quality.
Videos from any server like mp4, m3u8, google drive, dropbox, etc can have manual HD/SD quality selector.
Videos from YouTube / Vimeo can have automatic quality selector based on bandwidth.

Does the player pick-up a livestream when going from offline to online without having to refresh the page. I use Amazon IVS and I like the player to pick-up the stream when I start streaming. I would be great if the player could check this every x seconds…

Main difference is in terms of design, and the following features:
Elite player:
- VAST, VMAP, Google IMA ads support
- more playlist layouts (only text, only thumbnails)
- autoplay notification text as custom text, for example “Click to enable sound” if autoplay is enabled
- live video thumbnails and pre-made video thumbnails
- Google analytics for tracking video events like when it’s ended, how many times is watched etc.
- Captions (subtitles) for all self hosted videos – mp4 from server, google drive, dropbox, amazon S3 server etc.

I have a Wowza Media Player stremaing server, where I stream live from my TV station.
I record my videos on Youtube, but my live broadcast I use Wowza’s own player.
However, Wowza will disable her player now in August and he has a serious problem that keeps budding all the time.

Yes, you can remove all the advertisement videos and use only videos in playlist.
Main difference is in design, but they both have almost the same functionality. Elite have subtitles, google analytics, more playlist layouts as additional features.

for wordpress, you will need wordpress version: Stellar Video Player – Wordpress plugin or Elite Video Player – WordPress plugin . Simply install it as plugin and place shortcode in place where you want your player to appear.

Video on youtube must work properly to be able to show in player. It plays private videos as well.

Hello is there a possibilty do add a skip videos for users? Say the player has 100 videos and the user likes only half of them to watch, could there be a skip function of any video? That would be killer and I would pay extra for that of course! The manual skip is of no use because the videos will be music videos so it is like making a favorite list and wait all to play in shuffle!! Thanks
