Yes, you can use any font. Take your font and convert it from any format in svg format for use. And copy svg file in font folder.

Try deactivating all the other plugins just long enough to test, then if it works, reactivate them one by one to find which one is preventing it from working properly.

Generally it is a security plugin which can block. If this is the case, make your animation with the security plugin deactivated and then reactivate it.

Another solution: if the animation does not work on the site it may be due to the fact that the plugin is loading the jquery library and that it may already be loaded by another plugin, sometimes in another version.

So you can test the following: delete or comment out line 253 of the “font-anim.php” file which loads the jquery library. (in the admin at “plugins” > “plugins file editor” then choose “font-animation” then the file “font-anim.php” to edit the file)
