Interesting issue. Please send me temp admin login to my email kisded@yahoo.com and I help.

Mail sent. With passwords for a clean install of wordpress.

Hello,

Based on the type of error I see in the logs of the plugin and also on the plugin’s configuration, I assume your DeepL account is of the wrong type. Probably you have the DeepL PRO account, however, you need access to the DeepL API account.

DeepL has two main account types: DeepL Pro and DeepL API (for API access). DeepL API accounts are further differentiated into two sub-types DeepL API Free and DeepL API Pro (this last one might lead to confusion).

I figured out the error comes from an incorrect account type (DeepL Pro account, rather than a DeepL API account). DeepL API accounts (both Free and Pro) include an authentication key for the API, and are supported by this plugin, other account types are not.

Please sign up for a DeepL API account, you can start also with a free one: https://www.deepl.com/pro-api?cta=header-pro-api/

Let me know if this helped.

Hello,

Thank you it works now.

Glad to help!

Hello,

I checked and it seems you are using a free version of the DeepL API key. In this case, please check the ‘The Above Is A DeepL Free API Key’ checkbox from the plugin’s ‘Main Settings’ menu. Now, translation will work, please check: http://wpinitiate.com/qdt-test/demo8811497d/2021/11/02/test/

Regards, Szabi – CodeRevolution.

Thank you it works now.

Hi, I have tried the demo version. On the authentication key I put “demo” I created a test post using the form shortcode. While trying to make a very short translation test sentence I got the following error message : “An internal error occurred, please try again”. Please could you tell me why? Is it because of the authentication key ? Thank you.

Hola este complemento ara que se traduzcan las paginas de forma automática?

Hola, gracias por contactarme. No, este complemento no traducirá páginas automáticamente, sino que creará una traducción para que sus visitantes puedan traducir texto en su sitio. Saludos, Szabi – CodeRevolution.

I am looking for a plugin which can create translated pages for each language supported by deepL. For example, the English website URL is website.com. With a few clicks, the plugin automatically created language specific pages. For example, for Chinese, the website should be website.com/cn. Similarly, for French, the website looks like website.com/fr. Is this possible?

Hello,

Thank you for contacting me.

This plugin can create a form that allows your site’s users to translate content using DeepL. Unfortunately, what you wish to achieve cannot be done by this plugin.

Hi, great work I think, keep it going. You could be on to something. You should maybe rename it. Automatic Wordpress Translator or whatever. You should build in Support for the main sitebuilders, most people use these days. Will it work with Divi? Or Elementor ?

Hello,

Thank you for your idea. I will give it a thought.

Regarding Divi or Elementor, yes, they can use this plugin, simply embed in the textual blocks they provide the shortcode that this plugin provides: [deepl-show-form]

hello, i would like to translate my article into another language to make a new article. any help ? any solution with deepl or another plugin . regards

Hello,

Right now, I do not have a plugin that can do this, however, this is a good idea, I added it to my plugin ideas list, I will implement a plugin that can do this in the future.

Regards, Szabi – CodeRevolution.

a pre sales question your plugin is just what I am looking for I tnink it works as google translator and this is something good for esl bloggers. But I want to learn about the effects of the plugin over SEO how it works I want to understand and any plugin conflict? I dont want to make my website slow

No, they do not have Turkish language support. Please check supported languages here: https://www.deepl.com/en/translator

thank you, I hope it will have soon

No problem.

Hey guys, does this plugin still work? I am a bit confused… Do we need to purchase this plugin and order your subscription in order to get translations? What happens if I will stop subscription, will plugin remove the content? Can I pick the URL structure where to translate new content? For instance, I have English version at domain.com, can it be translated to German at domain.com/de/ ?

Thanks

Hello,

Thank you for contacting me.

This plugin does not translate content from your website, but instead, it will provide a form that will allow your visitors to translate their own content to languages supported by DeepL.

Please check it’s tutorial video, here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5xE5lgaM91s

Hi there,

This is a pre-sales question. Does this work with WPML? If not, how does that translated page show on the URL? For example, example.com/es should show if it’s translated into spanish.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting me.

The plugin is compatible with WPML, however, it will not change it’s default behavior in any way. The plugin will still display a form to the site users, where they will be able to translate the content they added to it.

Whats the difference(s) between your plug in and the Neuronto — DeepL API WordPress Plugin? Many thanks

Hello,

The Neuronto — DeepL API WordPress Plugin automatically translates posts from your WordPress site.

While this plugin provides a translation form that can be added to your WordPress’s site’s front end, that will allow visitors to use the DeepL API to translate content.

Hello, what kind of packet do I need minimum at deepl Starter, Advanced , Ultimate or api, because in their description stands pro account is sufficient but which? thanks

Hello,

To use the plugin, you need a DeepL Pro subscription, to get access to the DeepL API: https://www.deepl.com/pro.html#developer

Regards, Szabi – CodeRevolution.

Hello

I can’t see translator on front page

Please send me the URL of the post you created, so I can check it.

Please enter your DeepL API key in plugin settings, here: http://wpinitiate.com/qdt-test/demoa0161cb8/wp-admin/admin.php?page=qdt_admin_settings

This will enable the plugin to function.

Also, please check how the plugin functions, in it’s tutorial video, here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5xE5lgaM91s

Regards.
