Hi, I am interested in the plugin. It is exactly what I am looking for except, Is it possible to have the thumbnail link to a different image when enlarged? I have solid colour swatches which I want the user to click and see that colour on a different product.
No, there is no option to have the thumbnail link to a different image when enlarged.
Hey, in fact I was able to modify it and yes you can link it to another image. You have the thumbnails and large images as separate files. This worked for me. Great Script.

Hi, nice looking script..how do i read in the images – i have hundreds, can i just specify a folder. I also need to display the image filename eg….file0001.jpg ( not the jpg part) and not the meta title info…. as this is how the images are supplied to me and i have way to may to rename them all

To automatically add all of your images from the folder you can use a server-side language, such as PHP, to generate the HTML code of the gallery with all of the images included.
A new update was released, version 1.3.1 is live:

- Moved the JS source file from the “Sources/js” folder to the “Main/nice-gallery/js” folder, next to the minified version.

- Added a new setting called “lightboxImageUrls” to be able to specify the image URLs for the gallery lightbox when using a lazy loader plugin on the page.
- Changed the “scrollTime” setting to “scrollAnimate” so that it now accepts an ease value as well alongside the time value.
- Added a new method called “scrollPage” which scrolls the page a certain position using the scroll animate settings.
- Added a new method called “onPageScroll” to be able to specify a function to be called when the page is scrolled.
- Added a new method called “onPageAutoScrollFinish” to be able to specify a function to be called when the page automatic scroll finishes.

- Fixed an issue that was causing the lightbox image not to display properly on Bootstrap sites.
The issue was caused by Bootstrap forcing “box-sizing: border-box” on all elements on the page. I have fixed it in the latest version of the files.

Hi. That is a browser option, not something related to the gallery itself. You can try to search for options to disable the saving of images by the browser when viewing the page.
How to move a slide on a mobile device, without arrows? (Touch Swipe)
The navigation is done through the arrows or through clicking the thumbs. The arrows can be moved inside of the space is too small.
There is no drag navigation available. I’ll make a note of it and look into it for the next update.

There are 7 new settings available, related to the lightbox: lightboxEnabled, lightboxDesc, lightboxArrows, lightboxDescHide, lightboxControlsHide, lightboxControlsColor and lightboxAnimate. - Added 5 new methods that can be called through the code: open, next, prev, startAutoplay and stopAutoplay.
- Fixed an issue that was causing the right navigation arrow not to be positioned properly when the image description was on the side and the arrows on the inside.
- Other small modifications and improvements.

Yes, you just copy the HTML code from a template into your file. The guide explains everything in more detail.
How to use or change to template 7 (big) ?
All of the preview templates are included in the downloaded files. The big template you can find in the “Main” folder, called “7_big.html”. You can open this file in text editor to see all of it’s code.
Is there a possibility to directly upload all images via ftp and then these are directly visible. Without manual html care. For example, categories are created via ftp with folder.
You can make a PHP script that generates the gallery HTML code automatically based on your server content.
The gallery itself does not have any server side generating functionality. It is the front-end content, containing the HTML, CSS and JavaScript code.
