No, unfortunately BuddyPress typically stores replies as part of its own component system, which is different from the standard WordPress custom post types. These replies are often stored as part of the BuddyPress activity stream or in the case of forum replies.
This plugin is able to handle custom created content as posts/pages/custom post types – not also custom components like BuddyPress creastes.

The main difference between the Regular License and the Extended License of the plugin is that with the Extended License you will be able to use the plugin to charge your website visitors money for accessing the features of your website (not sell the plugin as it is, but sell access to the website you create, like a membership website).

Yes, the plugin has a fundamental requirement, it needs ffmpeg installed on your server and available from inside WordPress.

1. Yes, it will work on dedicated servers. You need to install ffmpeg on your server to make streaming work.
2. It will work also with locally uploaded videos, as long as you publish these videos embedded in WordPress posts.
3. It is not against YouTube policy, you can also select to not keep the live streamed video, to not have duplicate content on your channel (just live stream it and delete it afterwards).
4. Currently the plugin can create a single live stream to the same source (your single YouTube channel). I noted your idea, will check on updating the plugin in upcoming versions to allow also multiple streams to the same channel.

I need one last advice, uploading to media library then publishing a post, what is the disadvantage using this option. Because i think it will use my server resource, what about the YouTube embedding option, does it use same resource as direct library upload option?
And in conclusion, when will there be an update with the multiple live stream in one channel, because that is one of the major reason why i’m looking for such plugin.
Yes, the YouTube embedding option uses the same amount of resources, as it is also first makes a copy of the video to your server.
Regarding the update, not sure yet, first I need to make a research and think on how to implement this new feature.

Thanks for the info. I think i like how it works. If i decide to use the YouTube embedding option, do i need to publish a video on YouTube as public or i can leave it as unlisted, because having a video publish as public and then still going live with that same video is strange. As long as the video is embeddable, it will work. Unlisted videos are also embeddable.

What’s the difference between this plugin and the ones for YT and FB? Can I stream with YT and FB simultaneously with this? Lastly, if it’s pre-recorded on it goes live on YT or FB, and does it mean I can not reply to comments made while the video is playing or streaming?

The main difference between this plugin and the YT and FB ones is that the other plugins are able to create also live events automatically (on Facebook or on YouTube), while for this plugin, you need to create a live event manually and set the live streaming parameters in the plugin settings afterwards (the ones you get after creating the live event).
Also, yes, simultaneous live steaming will work, however, please note that this will stress your server’s resources and you will need to have a very performant server in order to work with simultaneous live streams.
Also, on the other hand, this plugin can be used to live stream also to any other platforms which support this feature (not just Facebook or YouTube).
Regarding commenting, you will be able to reply to comments also using this plugin, but in the admin panel of the site to which you are creating the live streams, in the site’s admin panel.

You will need to stream from the plugin, to the OBS studio’s IP address.

Yes, the plugin can stream videos over 1 hour, to make this work, you will need to increase the max_execution_time PHP settings of your server to a value larger than 1 hour. Regarding the streaming quality, yes, the plugin will be able to stream also in higher quality modes on your server (on the demo server there are multiple limitations set to the plugin, because of the demo environment).

This plugin is too good to be true, I created bash script to automate this but it requires manual efforts and some third party platform to get job done. If you look at live-dl github bash script they have automated monitoring of any YouTube channel for live stream url extraction and as soon as video is live they start downloading using youtube-dl and ffmpeg commands. nice idea. It will amazing to see automation for backup channel to go live just like that. Thank you so much!

Currently the plugin is able to live stream videos that are embedded in the contents of posts you publish on your site. So, you can control the streamed content from the videos from the posts content. At the moment, this is the only option to feed videos to the plugin. Repeating playlist are not supported.
