+1 for adding code, images , video and shortcodes to the descriptions of landmarks

Thank you eliano! Well, flash is a thing of the past. :)

Noted your +1!

Dude! Thats a really incredible work! I have been searching for this plugin for months! I am buying it asap! And I have a question – is it posible to add code to description of the Landmarks? I mean, the posibility to add images, or video, or some shortcodes from wp into it? Thanks in advance!

Thank you, I’m glad you like it!

Currently it’s not possible, the description of landmarks are simple text fields. However I’ve been thinking of replacing it with the WordPress editor which would make it work just like you described (support for images, videos, shortcodes etc.) If there is demand for this I will add it for the next update.

Looks really nice. :-)

Could you give more info about it´s features. How many custom maps are possible? How are they placed into a page? Could the sidebar also be on the right side? Maybe more images of the admin would clarify this. ;-)

Thanks, hiegl!

You can have unlimited number of maps and they are added to pages/post by shortcodes. The sidebar cannot be moved to the right from the admin panel, however it can be done by a few CSS modifications. If you ever need it just let me know and I will take care of it.

I will upload more images and even a screencast in the days to come!

Let me know if you have more questions and thank you for your interest!

this looks fantastic ! future buyer here :D

Thank you, hope you’re gonna love it! :)

Hi,

Installed on my test site.

I had no problem creating a new map, but the plugin would not allow me to change any of the “Floor Names”, Id’s etc.

After checking your examples, I found I could not change any of the parameters on the right, “Floor names, id’s, etc.) when I placed my cursor there to change it, it did nothing.

I was able to click the buttons to add the map images, but only the mini map showed up, even though I had previously used both images on your stand alone version.

Could be a conflict of some kind with another plugin?

Regards,

Gary

Hello,

I’m glad it works now. Can you share with us what caused the error? Just in case someone will ever have the same issue.

Link attribute for landmarks added to my to-do list, I will add it.

Hi,

I just want to say I appreciate your great effort with this plugin. It works very well for my needs and probably most peoples needs.

Very nice work.

But here is my wish list ( I’d pay extra for all this stuff )

Wish List:

1. Seperate the sidebar description from the popup description (add both)

2. Toggle for a link in either the sidebar or popup.

3. Toggle the sidebar on and off and select location.

4. Landmarks: Show them under the Landmark menu so that the order can be arranged.

5. Landmarks: When I click on a landmark (see above), I am taken on the map to the landmark for further editing.

6. When I click on the category the Landmark menu populates with those landmarks.

7. Toggle the Search feature on or off. This removes the entire search area.

8. Map Pin importer

Keep up the GREAT work.

Regards,

Gary

Thanks Gary, your appreciation really means a lot!

All the features listed are quite logical, especially 4, 5, 6 and 7. I’ve noted them all and I will try to bring as much as possible with the next update.

Best regards

Great work, I’ve been waiting for this!

I bought your jquery version and it was a much more manual process to create maps, looks like this is more drag and place markers, add title, description…. which is awesome. (Looking at the screenshot on your demo page)

Thank you mber92!

That’s right, this is all about drag&dropping, filling inputs and picking colors, user friendliness at its best. :)
