another great plugin from LambertGroup… hoping for a wp version
We’ll launch it by the end of this month
We’ve launched the WordPress version http://codecanyon.net/item/wordpress-logos-showcase-grid-and-carousel/6173406
is it possible to put this in Bigcommerce store? If I purchase it, is there a guide on how to put it?
Because is a jQuery plugin, you can insert it in any type of website. In the help documentation you’ll find a 4 steps tutorial for implementation. You can adapt the tutorial for Bigcommerce
This script is not truly responsive as it has a max width of 960px and won’t even center in it’s container to compensate.
It would be nice if you could set a background color on the contained items like you can with border to eliminate the need to develop additional image versions to deal with variable container background and colors.
I had been trying to avoid jQuery UI as even it’s “min” version is pretty heavy. I assume it’s for the tooltip. Would certainly reduce the weight of the Showcase to use a dedicated tooltip that is <1k rather than all the bloat of jQuery UI. I understand a lot of people are already using it for other features so perhaps it was an easy call to rely of something that is ubiquitous for many but others like me try to avoid it at all costs.
Oh and if jQuery UI is there for the easing options the jQuery easing plugin is 8K so using it and another tooltip would save over 200k.
The plugin has no max width limitation.
I believe you have set true (or you are using the default value) for JS parameter ‘responsiveRelativeToBrowser’. Please check help documentation, ‘JS Options’ section, to see all available parameters.
If you still have problems, please send me on firstname.lastname@example.org the link where you have the showcase, to take a look
I tried it both ways actually looking through all of the examples of the perspective version. Since the demo itself “responsive.html” won’t fill the browser width are you sure? I don’t have a link to email you since I don’t deploy things that aren’t working right and my test server isn’t accessible outside of my home. It’d be easier if you could check the demo I mentioned since if I could get that working my own code would be easy enough.
The documentation is excellent by the way!
I just wanted to post a follow-up for anyone else considering this item. The solution to my issue requires hard-wiring a width parameter. Not only does that make this not responsive, that width parameter affects the size of the contained objects. Coupled with a hard-coded directory structure (the two skins on offer aren’t accessed relative to the plugin’s path), reliance on the bloated jQueryUI and a few obvious missing features I am removing this item from my site and going with a different solution.
As always LambertGroup provides excellent documentation and support but I think this one is a swing and a miss.
As I replied you on the email, if the perspective carousel will have the same width as the browser width, it will look very unprofessional especially if you have smaller images (as logos are).
This doesn’t mean the product is not responsive since it will adapt on iPad and iPhone.
As you can see herehttp://www.jquerycarouselimagevideo.com/perspectiveFullWidthType.html , for this product we have full width version (because uses larger images)
Also, the skins are not ‘Coupled with a hard-coded directory structure’. You have the path in the css file. If you want to change the folders structure just make a find & replace for that new path in the css file
I’m having some issues while implementing the code with other jquery libraries, I’m sending a private message from your profile, I hope you can help me to solve it.
It seems that the gray scaling doesn’t work in IE 11.
I only tested it under Win 8.1.
Can you tell me how to make it work.
We’ll try to find a fix for IE11 gray scale
Thanks… please let me know when you found it.
The solution is this one: http://www.majas-lapu-izstrade.lv/cross-browser-grayscale-ie11/
Please click ‘View Tutorial’ from footer: http://www.majas-lapu-izstrade.lv/useful/cross-browser-grayscale-image-example-using-css3-js
It is not a very ‘supple’ solution because it will make the plugin load slower
When implementing this script in single carousel mode, and adding rounded corners to images via css, I noticed that no matter what settings I change, the images are missing a single column of pixels on the right side of the images. When the images are moused over, the missing column shows itself.
I say that I added rounded corners, as this is very noticeable because your script cuts a column of pixels, which makes it very easy to see that the right side of the images rounded corners aren’t quite completely round.
If you find out what is causing this, I’d appreciate some instructions so I can fix this problem.
Please send me on email@example.com the link where you have the carousel, to take a look
Why would you sell this script left-aligned with no instructions on how to center it? How do I center the logos? I can’t use it left-aligned as is.
Centering the showcase is part of your layout.
You’ll insert the showcase in a div having the same width as the showcase and margin:0px auto;
Please check this link: http://bluerobot.com/web/css/center1.html
Hi im getting this error after instaling the plugin Uncaught TypeError: $(...).logo_carousel is not a function
You are loading jQuery multiple times, I’ve replied your email
Hi I’ve replied from my work email, can we continue there please as my boss is in and out of the office which is who’s email is on the account
Only for the Grid option : it would be nice if you add animation (fade-in out, carousel) , because in practice, websites doesn’t havce only 6 or 9 logos to show, in addition, if you try to show them all like you do it will be ugly.
If you have just a few logos you can use the carousel version
Can the navigation dots under the slider be hidden for the one by one view? I only want to show the arrows. http://www.lambertgroupproductions.com/canyon/logoshowcase/index_onebyone_simple.html
Yes, you have a parameter to hide the bottom navigation.
You can set showBottomNav:false, when you initialize the logos showcase.
I just bought it, but I don’t need this feature, i needed the wordpress verison, I bought the wordpress versiion as well, pls I want my money back for this plugin
Please send me an email using the form from the right sidebar located on this page: https://codecanyon.net/user/lambertgroup
