I’m having some issues while implementing the code with other jquery libraries, I’m sending a private message from your profile, I hope you can help me to solve it.

Thanks

This script is not truly responsive as it has a max width of 960px and won’t even center in it’s container to compensate.

It would be nice if you could set a background color on the contained items like you can with border to eliminate the need to develop additional image versions to deal with variable container background and colors.

I had been trying to avoid jQuery UI as even it’s “min” version is pretty heavy. I assume it’s for the tooltip. Would certainly reduce the weight of the Showcase to use a dedicated tooltip that is <1k rather than all the bloat of jQuery UI. I understand a lot of people are already using it for other features so perhaps it was an easy call to rely of something that is ubiquitous for many but others like me try to avoid it at all costs.

I tried it both ways actually looking through all of the examples of the perspective version. Since the demo itself “responsive.html” won’t fill the browser width are you sure? I don’t have a link to email you since I don’t deploy things that aren’t working right and my test server isn’t accessible outside of my home. It’d be easier if you could check the demo I mentioned since if I could get that working my own code would be easy enough.

The documentation is excellent by the way!

I just wanted to post a follow-up for anyone else considering this item. The solution to my issue requires hard-wiring a width parameter. Not only does that make this not responsive, that width parameter affects the size of the contained objects. Coupled with a hard-coded directory structure (the two skins on offer aren’t accessed relative to the plugin’s path), reliance on the bloated jQueryUI and a few obvious missing features I am removing this item from my site and going with a different solution.

As always LambertGroup provides excellent documentation and support but I think this one is a swing and a miss.

Hello,

As I replied you on the email, if the perspective carousel will have the same width as the browser width, it will look very unprofessional especially if you have smaller images (as logos are).

This doesn’t mean the product is not responsive since it will adapt on iPad and iPhone.

As you can see herehttp://www.jquerycarouselimagevideo.com/perspectiveFullWidthType.html , for this product we have full width version (because uses larger images)

Also, the skins are not ‘Coupled with a hard-coded directory structure’. You have the path in the css file. If you want to change the folders structure just make a find & replace for that new path in the css file

Hi, is it possible to put this in Bigcommerce store? If I purchase it, is there a guide on how to put it?

Hello,

Because is a jQuery plugin, you can insert it in any type of website. In the help documentation you’ll find a 4 steps tutorial for implementation. You can adapt the tutorial for Bigcommerce
