I am using this for tags, However I find tags like “for”, “the” , “you” , “that” etc.. which are non relevant . How to avoid such non relevant tags from being stamped.

Question, Can we exclude the “Page” in the deletion (how?) and only deleted those expired “Post” also if the expired post deleted it also delete the featured image? (if not can we make it possible)

Yes, this is possible.
For manual run: if you select the ‘Post Type’ to be processed to be ‘post’. This will automatically exclude pages and also custom post types and will process only regular posts.
For automatic run: check the ‘Disable Activation on ‘Pages’’ and also ‘Disable Activation on ‘Custom Post Types’’ checkboxes -> will leave the plugin to function only on regular posts.

I am running a video tube site and I can’t seem to make the tags and the content description working with the shortcodes.
I’ve tried putting some content description with the plugin’s shortcodes like: %post_tags % and %post_categories % but did not work.
The post tags did not also work (didn’t show) since a video post is different from a regular blog post (article).
Can you show me the workaround on this matter?

The issue is that you try to add values from custom post taxonomies to the post content (not from the regular ‘category’ taxonomy of posts).
This was not possible, but I updated the plugin right now to v1.1.8, added the ability to use the following shortcodes:
%%tax_YOUR_TAX_SLUG%% and %%meta_YOUR_META_SLUG%% to display custom taxonomy and custom post field values. Example: %%tax_custom-category%%, %%meta_custom-tag%%
To work with these, you need to find the textual ID of your taxonomy (it’s slug) – it can be extracted from the URL of the WordPress backend, where the posts which are assigned with the taxonomy are listed.

Also, I noticed that the plugin automatically added new categories each time I did a test video upload.
The manual tags under Post Tags Settings: are not really working. It didn’t automatically add to new video posts.
Could you please explain in a more english version of these taxonomies section? Sorry, but I am not a techie on Wordpress backend so I need a more simple explanation on this matter.

I don’t have problem on the Post Title as it is perfectly working.
The only problems are the tags and content description. The manual tags I’ve set on Post Tags settings are not automatically added on the video tags section and the content description with custom shortcodes did not also work.

By the way, I forgot to mention that I am not using the standard way of adding videos (post). I am using an embedder plugin to automate the import process. Do you think it could be the reason why the predefined manual tags in the Post Tags Settings do not work?
I noticed that when I manually add videos, the tags are working fine, but the category section is weird because even if I did set the category to something like category “A”, the category “Uncategorized” is also added in the list when the video post is published.
As for the content section, I still can’t make the shortcodes work. I wanted it to be able to work when I would enter meta keywords like the post tags being used or the search term being searched when a user is coming from an organic search and landed on that certain video post. Or a simple %Category % and %Tags % shortcodes to work would be fine.

Yes, the embedder plugin might be the cause of the posts tags and categories issue, especially if this works when publishing the post normally.

Are you sure that the ‘Uncategorized’ category is not added before the plugin runs?
Because I tried to reproduce this on my test blog, and for me, the Uncategorized category is not added.
I think that it is there already, before the plugin runs.
The Uncategorized category is not even selected when my embedder plugin runs.
Also, it is disabled in the Post Categories Settings as per my screenshot, where I only selected one category for the new post/videos to be added to.
And to add, even if I uncheck the box in Enable Post Categories Editing (meaning no function at all), and tried manual posting, the “Uncategorized” category is added automatically by Kraken. A “test” tag is also added for the manual posting.
The Uncategorized category is the default category that WordPress adds to all posts. It might be added by default by the plugin that created the posts from custom post type you are using.
Please disable the Kraken plugin and check if the Uncategorized category is still added.
If it is added by my plugin, let me know.

Okay, I decided to create a demo video on your demo site to clarify my issue.

In this video, I created a test category, selected that category in the Post Category settings of Kraken, and added 3 tags on Post Tags Settings as well.
I did a test post, with a test category being selected under Kraken Post Category Settings, and look what happened – still, the Uncategorized category is being added automatically, and a “hello and test” tag is also added, even if I don’t have that certain tag in my settings.
**Okay, I think because on Post Tag Settings under Import Post Tags From: the selected option is “Title”, so the tag “hello” and “test” come from the title that is automatically added by Kraken upon posting the new post.
So how do you remove/omit this automatic adding of tags from the title? Should it be disabled to avoid the automatic adding of extra tags from the title?

To not add automatically tags from the title, for the ‘Import Post Tags From’ settings field, please don’t select the ‘Title’ as a tag source.
Regarding the ‘Uncategorized’ category, you did not add a category to the post you published, and WordPress automatically added to it the ‘Uncategorized’ category. You can stop it from appearing, by selecting a category manually for the post, before publishing it.

Okay, that’s because the posting was done manually, and I did not add/select a category manually. But, I selected my test category in the Post Category Settings on Kraken Plugin Automatic Run.
So, does that mean that the automatic settings does not work when a post is manually done? The automatic settings is ignored when a post is added manually.
Okay, here’s my concern: The Tags and Description or Content
In your video, you did not clarify the topic on Tags. How to make the automatic adding of tags work because if I do automatic posting of new videos, the tags don’t work – that’s my first concern and second, the content description.
I am using Yoast SEO plugin, and my taxonomies ID of Category and Tags are correct. It is working on my site and I wonder why your plugin cannot recognize the custom taxonomies made by Yoast.
Do you have a workaround on this issue?

Let me explain how the categories work on WordPress.
You publish a new post (don’t select categories for it). WordPress requires all posts to have at least one category. Because of this, it adds automatically the ‘Uncategorized’ category.
When my post gets the published post, it already has the ‘Uncategorized’ category – and adds the other categories you selected in plugin settings to it.

I do not want to make refund request yet, as I am hopeful for this plugin to work.
I think there’s just a few more tweaks to do for the plugin to work with the automatic import process of video posting, but I do not want to ask you for that feature.
I want to utilize its capacity to be able to do the automatic editing of the Post Title, that’s already a great feature.
The plugin is great, it just didn’t meet what I really need it do exactly as an added feature.
I’ll take time and maybe I could find a workaround somehow.

configured in what way? is it quick and easy such as just select to process on “product” post type? or is it more complex… basically I have products that are being imported and many of them have the same blocks of html that I want to automatically replace when found in a new product with a replacement block of html.. does your plugin do this? if it does I will buy..
Right now, there are 2 methods to run the plugin: automatic and manual.
Manual running can select the specific post type you wish to edit (product).
Automatic running (at each product publishing), can be set to run only on custom post types (by disabling running on regular posts and pages).
One of these methods might help you.

I updated the plugin, added the ability to skip post titles from translation -> ‘Main Settings’ -> ‘Do Not Translate The Title’ checkbox.
I understand now also the post title related issue. The slugs of posts cannot be changed automatically by the plugin right now, by translation. I will think on this and add it in a future update.

I need to do two things for now. (1) Change a text string in the middle of all of the posts. (2) Change the Publication date of the posts. Can you give me an example of each.

To change text strings, please use the ‘Run Regex On Content’ settings field, to match text strings from posts, and the ‘Replace Matches From Regex’ settings field, to enter the replacement string for posts. Regarding post date, yes, something like %%post_date%% - 2 weeks, will work
Also, I recommend that you try modifying posts only on a single test post first, so you are sure that the modifications that you wish to apply to posts are applied correctly.

I apologize for so many comments. After much testing, I found that Kraken is not working on my site because of the plugin update (from v1.1.5) to Version 1.1.5.1

I have a question, I am looking for a way to change the date of my old items to add 365 days. We have a category with 365 items in and we want to publish them again a year later. Can your system do that? I tried voting Dead but I’m not sure it works

This plugin can change the date of the posts, but only of those that are published after the plugin is activated and configured (it fires it’s actions only at post publish).
So, at the moment, with this plugin, what you request is not possible. But, you gave me a good idea with this, and probably (if it is doable), I will implement this in a future plugin update.
