still no option for top menu area ? this is crazy to not offer that… :O

Hello galaxie-tech,

the flags can be placed on custom menu areas or fixed on the viewport borders on top, right, bottom, and left positions.

Let me know if you have other questions.

Hi, all good? Can i add flags to menu area? I’m trying to perform a site like this one

the plugin allows you to create flags associated with the languages and locations listed in your hreflang. There isn’t an option to create textual list of countries or locations at the moment.

Let me know if you have other questions.

The language selector can be added without flags, i.e. with the corresponding language code: ES, EN, FR, DE, IT

Thank you very much.

Hello ohzaru,

I don’t understand exactly your question. Can you please add more details?

Thank you.

Hello ohzaru,

thank you for the details. I’m sorry but this plugin generates only flags.

Let me know if you have any questions.

I have bought your hreflang manager, and I’m thinking about buying this also, but before that, I want to ask you three questions:

Can I put the flag where I want, with the text I want? I want to put it in the upper fixed part of my website.

In that case, what happen if the hreflang does not exist in a certain page? Will it go to the home page, for example?

What happened if i have specified a hreflang manager for a page, but I don’t want that hreflang flags to link each page of each language? Let say, for example for SEO purposes, than I have two travel packages in different languages than are quite similar but don’t exactly the same (a bit different in itinerary and price, for example). I link them in hreflang manager, but I don’t want that the link in the upper side of the page link each other. Is it possible?

Hello RafaelIglesias,

1. There is no text but only flags.

2. This is possible, you have to set the Options -> Fixed -> Position to “Top”.

3-4. If there is no hreflang there are no flags.

5. If there is hreflang on the page the flags are always generated.

Hope this helps.

Hello, nice plugin! I have two questions before buying it. I have already the hreflangs on my website.

<link rel=”alternate” href=”” hreflang=“it”> <link rel=”alternate” href=”” hreflang=“it-IT”> <link rel=”alternate” href=”” hreflang=”en”> <link rel=”alternate” href=”” hreflang=”en-GB”> <link rel=”alternate” href=”” hreflang=”en-US”>

I want to show only two flags, but I’m not sure if your plugin will show more flags instead of two (EN and IT) based on the number of hreflang I have.

Then is it possible to display that flags with a shortcode? I want to add the flags on the menu, and I use a shortcode for this.

As soon as you let me know, I buy the plugin.

Thank you very much. Kind regards,

Hello NcyFil, I just replied directly to your email.

hello, pre-sale question.

i’ve looked at your demo site. i see everything is working perfectly if the url is clean. but if you add any parameter to it (for example every link click from facebook does it or if using google analytics utm parameters), the demo doesn’t show other language buttons anymore. look at this link for example:

i don’t know, maybe there’s a setting on plugin backend for this (i haven’t bought the plugin yet), but if not – is it possible to implement url parameters passing?

ok, got it. another question – in a demo i don’t see ability to put flags into menu – is it possible?

Hello GMX2010,

it’s an interesting idea and I saved your feedback. The places where you can currently add the flags are: in the post, in the widget area, fixed over the document, in your theme template file with a PHP function provided by the plugin.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.

Nice Work. GLWS DigitalCenturySF
