Pre-purchase questions. 1-Can I change the map type? Like instead of google map I wanna use mapbox 2-What if I built my app totally with the wordpress plugin, do I get a new customizable app? Like after building it I wanna customize the code too! Doable?
1. We have integrated GoogleMaps only. Mapbox is doable, but it will require custom development.
2. The app works with any Houzez real estate theme based website by default. If you have developed your website with any custom plugin, the app won’t work and it will need to customize the code.

Yes, code reads from configuration json that you customize from Houzi Builder. It builds the layout and colors based on configuration. You still can change the code however you want.
Is it possible to put the option “Find a property nearby” in the application? I want to integrate a location-based feature, similar to vehicle ordering applications, to allow users to find available goods within a defined radius.
To enable the “nearby” option for a property row, use the Houzi Builder or manually set “show_nearby”: true in the home section of your configuration JSON. However, I’d advise against using this feature due to several technical hurdles:
Data Density: It requires a high volume of geo-tagged listings across all areas; otherwise, users in less populated regions will see empty results, creating a “broken” user experience.
GPS Accuracy & Signal: Performance fluctuates based on hardware quality and urban interference (the “urban canyon” effect), often leading to inaccurate search radiuses.
Battery & Performance: Constantly polling for high-accuracy GPS coordinates is resource-intensive and can lead to significant battery drain on mobile devices.
Privacy & Permissions: Relying on location data adds friction, as users must explicitly grant permissions, which many are hesitant to do. So essentially breaking this feature.

To ensure that your app works correctly on the latest versions of Android, Google Play requires all apps targeting Android 15+ to support 16 KB memory page sizes. From 31 May 2026, if your app updates do not support 16 KB memory page sizes, you won’t be able to release these updates.

It does support 16 kb page size. We added support in 1.4.5, current version is 1.4.6.

Giving some options to make this app super. Kindly give these features in the next update. 1- Put a share option for the property, agent, agency and blog section. 2- The user can write a testimonial text. 3- UPI payment gateway for payment. 4- Push notification message with sound and image.

Thank you for your tremendous effort. I wonder if it’s possible to show registered agencies and agents only in the location a visitor searches for. Currently, when searching, agencies and agents appear in all locations in the menu of the app. How is it possible?

panditjiservices: Yes, however the full app depends on this file. so any change might have an effect globally. Also if you change anything in this, it’ll get replaced with the update if you try to update it with future houzi versions. So you will have to keep track of everything that you change in core Houzi files.

For the See Nearby Properties app, there is an option to enable the nearby option. But all agent and all agencies showing in app. What about this?

This app already has a web front end. We use Houzez for the admin panel, database and apis. Houzez offer dozens gorgeous website front ends.
We won’t be adding booking feature to this app.

While reviewing the release notes for version 1.4.5, we noticed the mention of updating the in-app-purchase dependency to meet Google Play requirements. However, we need to specifically confirm whether the app is already using the Google Play Billing Library version 7.0.0 or later (ideally version 8.0.0).
This is critical since Google has set October 31, 2025 as the deadline for all apps to migrate to version 7.0.0 or above. Otherwise, we won’t be able to publish further updates.
Could you please confirm the exact version of the Billing Library currently implemented and share that information with us (for example, from the build.gradle or the relevant configuration)?

I have added location for multiple countries with cities and areas, but when i select All in cities after selecting a country, the app keeps loading, not showing any listings?
Houzez locations works with hierarchy. Country -> State -> City -> Area.
City are grouped by state. You cannot make city dependent on Country.
If it is really required, introduce a state between County and City. Alternatively use State as Country and link every city to their respective country (actually state).
