Hi there! Great plugin, I bought it but was upset that it does not support products, addresses, coupons and payment fields. Would also be great if it could connect to another database. Let me know if this is something you could build for me and I wouldn’t mind paying for it. Thanks. p.s.: Please check the private message I sent you with the a form example we use.

In the next Release i will integrate support for multi-value-fields (like name, address, ...). But this will take about 2-3 weeks. I’m also working on a new plugin with connects with PDO to the database. So it’s possible to connect to another MySQL but also MS-SQL or ORACLE database.

Hi there! Any update on this? I would love to hear good news on this and pay to speed the process up. Thanks.

In my developer release i already integrated ‘name’ and ‘address’ fields. But i think it will take about 1-2 weeks until i could release this version.

My GF form doesn’t create new records in my custom table, although all field names, the lead-id and the tablename are assigned to my custom table. Only records in the GF tables are created. What could be wrong? Also, is there some more documentation available than on Envato’s website?

There comes a PDF Documentation with the Plugin. If you send me your URL and the Account-Data (via http://codecanyon.net/user/naranili ) i could take a look at your site.

How do you handle GF List? It appears that i do not have an data type option for the LIST.

I need to be able to store the list in a MYSQL table. I understand that it might be a separate table because of the list. Is this possible?

Currently this is not supported. Please send me a message via the author-board http://codecanyon.net/user/naranili

naranili – 7 days ago Hi ! At the weekend i will release a new release of the MySQL and the List&Edit plugin. With both plugins it’s possible to edit/create/update records at a MySQL table if you leave the lead-record (internal GF record) at the Gravity-Form tables and if the record-id will be the lead_id.

Hi naranili,

Were you able to implement this? I really need it for a project I am working on.

Cheers, Carlo

Sorry, just read into it a bit more. In order to do this , do you need the List&Edit plugin to achieve this?

Yes. You need both Plugins.

Kindly let me know if checkbox field is NOT supported as MySQL Field name is not showing in checkbox fields

Dear Naranili,

I will much appreciate if you can do something about this as I my whole project depend on this field mapping task

The Problem with Checkoxes (or MultiSelect, or List) is, that we can have more than one value. If you have a checkbox field with 3 checkboxes, you also need 3 database fields ?

I do understand that we need to use more fields but I am afraid to say that without checkbox support your plugin will not be much use.

I have created an application form using gravity form which has many check boxes.

When I checked your plugin I thought it support all type of fields as its not mentioned in your project description that checkbox or address field is not supported.

Now I am really stuck. Is there any possible solution to save checkbox fields in mysql table ?

Regards

Awesome work! Questions:

1) I’m using the “Time.ly Events Calendar” which saves event data to a SQL table. Would it be possible to edit that data using this plugin in combination with your “List and Edit” plugin?

No. Sorry. I’m working on a new plugin to use Gravity Forms as “Form Builder” for MySQL tables, but this will take some weeks.

Hallo, this is add a very cool feature….

Is it possible to update a record on a mysql table? not just create new record but update some.

Do you develop custom request of new plugin? :)

I need a custom gravity form addon but I think it is complicated….

What do you mean with POLL field data ?

Field created with Gravity Forms Polls Add-On….

Sorry. Currently the plugin doesn’t support only the field-types that comes with GF. I will add this to my list of doings for the next releases.

I am very interested in this plugin, but I want to make sure it will do what I want:

Using Gravity Forms and this plugin, it is my hope that I will be able to view a list of records from a MySQL table – which resides on a database separate from my WordPress database – This data will be populated into a table on my website, then from this point, users will be able to edit their desired record and change two fields that will then be updated in my (non-WordPress) database once the users save their changes.

Sorry. The Plugin only supports the tables of the wordpress database. As described some comments before i will update (or create a new plugin) to access other dabatase (not only MySql).

Hi, Having a little issue making the plugin work. I am trying to populate a drop down list from an exiting table. Everything seems to work fine up till the last step. It does not import the fields. Maybe it’s something I missed but I need to get it to work before I pick up your other plugin.

Thank you

Hi.. Got past the issue. Problem had everything to do with mysql connection settings.

Thanks

very nice and I would like to auto populate data from SQL table, will this work?

Plesse send me a message with more details

suppose i have entered my address in form1 and i want my my address pre populate in form2

The Plugin only saves the form-data to an other MySQL-Table. So it’S possible to create ‘real’ MySQL Records and not only meta-entries.

Sounds very useful. Just a quick query – can the plugin send form data to a second MySQL database? So for example, send a copy of email address data to a second database?

Thanks!

Currently the plugin uses the default wordpress-database. But i’m planning to use an abstraction layer, so it’s possible to connect to other Databases.

Thanks for the reply. That’s exactly what we’re looking for as GF doesn’t currently provide this option.
