Hi there.
Thanks for reaching out to us and sorry for the late response.
No linked tables (Google Spreadsheet, Excel, CSV, PHP Array, and XML) are editable, so they can only pull data from the external source, but you won’t be able to edit them.
Kind regards.

Hello, is it possible to know what happens tot he database if the information is. updated on Formidable using the import CSV entries option?
For example, I client wants an update on the site which is done on staging, when pushed to the live site the entries need to be replaced with the previous live versions list. So will this overwrite the table data? Duplicate the data?
Thanks
Hello there.
Sorry for the late response.
The Formidable Forms Integration for wpDataTables is an add-on for wpDataTables, which allows you to create tables in wpDataTables from existing Formidable Forms entries.
The data stored in the database tables of Formidable Forms is located in multiple database tables, and wpDataTables performs complex queries in the back to pull that data. With our plugin, there’s no way of updating or editing the tables generated from Formidable Forms, as they are only created by querying the database.
If Formidable Forms allows you to overwrite entry data by uploading CSV files, this question should be forwarded to them.
Kind regards

Hello Great work…
Are there any plans to make this add-on “server-side-processing” and editable table, the same as the Gravity plugin is?
And if yes, is there a time frame when that may be?
Thank you!
Hello there!
Thank you for your support.
At the moment, there are no such plans, because this would require our developers working with Formidable Forms’ team, and both parties are busy with priority features.
It is planned to achieve server-side processing for Formidable Forms based tables as well, but we can’t say when it will be possible.
Kind regards.

Thank you for your quick reply, but:
Response: At the moment, there are no such plans, because this would require our developers working with Formidable Forms’ team, and both parties are busy with priority features.
Reply: I think this is a huge feature that should be made a priority. We moved from Gravity Forms to Formidable Forms to escape this limitation, only to find out that it is not available on Formidable forms
Response: It is planned to achieve server-side processing for Formidable Forms based tables as well, but we can’t say when it will be possible.
Reply: Upper response says there is no plans, this second response says it is planned but not sure when… a bit confusing…
Please consider making the Formidable Forms Add-on become service side processing capable and editing capable same as Gravity Forms and especially without any unpredictable behavior for large tables.
We have put three projects on hold. Please consider moving this feature up in the priority list.
Thank you!
Hello again.
Sorry if you misunderstood our response.
Like indicated in the previous response – at the moment there are no such plans – what we meant to say is that there are no plans in our developers’ tasks for the next period (sprint) to start working on this feature.
Updating the plugin, and increasing functionality is always planned, so that’s why we indicated that it is planned to achieve server-side processing… but we can’t say when…. We also plan on creating a full 2-way synchronization with Google Sheets, so you can edit data in the spreadsheet and in wpDataTables, and have that data sync; but it’s not planned at the moment and we cannot say when it will be included.
In short – we have a lot of things planned for the future, but some features are made top priority based on the number of requests submitted by our customers on our official support platform and on our suggest a feature page. Please feel free to cast your vote on the “Suggest a feature” page.
Thank you for the suggestion once again. As indicated above, including this feature will require our developers working with Formidable Forms’ team; and in the past they did not have time to work with us on developing the add-on further.
We can only hope they have more time in the near future.
Kind regards.

Can I create a form for each user, and the user can see their entries? I have 3 users and each user has a number of clients that must fill out the form Can I give permission for each user to see what his customers have typed?
Hello there.
If these three forms are different for each user, then yes. You can create a table with Formidable Forms Integration for wpDataTables add-on, and post the table on a page accessible to one user. If you need to block access to that page for other two users, you would need to use some membership plugin for that.
Kind regards.

Hi, I’m getting this error: Trying to get property ‘user_login’ of non-object in /xxxxxx/plugins/wdt-formidable-integration/wdt-formidable-integration.php on line 339 A bug?
So, I found the problem. The user that created the post was deleted from the site. If I changed the “user_id” in the database “xxx_frm_items” to an existing user the error was gone. Thanks for your time and effort sorry for not checking that before my post here.
Hello there.
We sincerely apologize for the late response.
Glad to hear you found the issue. We’re sure it will be useful for other customers if they run into a similar issue.
If you need any further assistance with the plugin, please feel free to reach out to us.

How many sites can this be installed on?
Hi there.

Hello. In formidable I have image file field if in you plugin Column settings:/DATA I setup as Image, image in table is not displayng.
Hi there.
We believe you are adding images using “File Upload” field, correct?
If that is true, and if the column is set as “String” – it should display the images correctly in the table created from that form.
If this is the case, and you’re still having issues, can you please open a ticket on our support platform https://tmsplugins.ticksy.com/, and our support manager will help you there?

Hello, I would like to know, is there any way at all to include the Formidable entry “key” (the 5-character unique identifier) in a wpDataTable column?
Please let me know if there is any solution at all, I am comfortable with php if there is a patch that I will have to apply.
Thank you
Hi,
We are sorry to disappoint You, but unfortunately, this is impossible with the plugin’s built in features.
Thank you for your suggestion. We carefully follow customers requirements and try to implement most of them if they appear in requests from time to time, so we will add to our idea list and look into some possible solutions on plugin side in the future.
Sorry for any inconvenience.
Best regards!

My Formidable forms uses Lookup Fields to fetch and auto-fill options for things like Year/Make/Model/Options. It looks like we could use this addon and WPdatatables to view that year/make/model info. But if we edit the tables via WPdatatables, will it update the lookup fields back on the formidable form?
Hi,
Thank you for your interest in our plugin.
Unfortunately something like this is possible with the Gravity Forms integration addon but it is not possible with the Formidable forms integration addon.
Best regards!

hi, i have built a form with Formidable forms. This is compiled one time at year by my logged users. After each submission will be created a record: user id, compilation date, numeric field 1, numeric field 2, numeric field 3, numeric field 4. for each user i would like to display a radar chart (with chart.js engine) that will show data by date. In combination with datatables Does your plugin can help me to get a chart that dynamically display data by logged user? in other words i create a chart that will show data only from current logged user.
Hi,
Thank you for your interest in our plugin. We deeply apologize for the delayed answer.
Unfortunately, something like this isn’t possible with the Formidable forms integration as it is not possible to filter data of the logged in user. If you are familiar with writing the SQL query you can request data and add filter with it.
Best regards!

Just wanted to drop a comment on how great your plugins are. I’m using a form to take sealed bids on items and with this formidable add-on and the powerful filter add-on, it is a perfect combo for letting me filter my form entries by item then by highest bidder. Keep up the great work.
Hi,
Thank you for such nice words, it means a lot. We will do our best to continue this way.

Good morning, I seem to be having a small issue when formatting my tables using Formidable Pro and setting a column to the data type of FLOAT. For some reason the data is being stored in PHPmyadmin as a float but WpDatatables integration will not format it correctly. Example would be 3.50 but the tables format it as 350.00 Thanks Chris
Hi,
Thank you for being our long-time customer.
Please check if you have set the right number format. Go to the Settings page and under the Number format setting choose the same format you have in your form. Let us know whether this solved the problem.

Hi there, I have Formidable Pro and wpdatatables and am very interested in this plugin, but need to be able to test it to see if it will cover all bases for me. I tried using your Sandbox in the comments here but it seems broken as I cannot access it. DO you have elsewhere or can you setup a sandbox so I can test the features before I buy? Thank you
Hi,
Thank you for your purchase.
Unfortunately, we don’t have an option for testing Formidable Forms add-on. We plan to implement the Sandbox in the near future, but we cannot say when it will be available. We will give our best to be as soon as possible.
Best regards!

In the plugin the seller comment these: “Use all of wpDataTables power” Bot is not possible to add, delete or modify anny item in the table. I want for this, but is not possible. ¿Because publish the plugin use all poer of wpdatatables? ¡Is not true!
Hi,
Sorry to hear your frustration, we understand you are disappointed as the item does not have the functionality that you assumed it has.
However please note that assumptions based on generic statements, without reading through the features list and purchasing without checking if the product works the way you assume is not author’s responsibility. Formidable-based wpDataTables are sortable, paginated, can use column filtering, export, copy to clipboard, charts can be generated based on these tables, and use vast majority of wpDataTables features. Not all of wpDataTables-generated tables are editable which is highlighted everywhere. For the moment only MySQL-query based tables and tables that are created manually from the WP-Admin. No other tables are announced as editable.
All the product’s features are listed and described in the official documentation page. Additionally, there is a tutorial video that shows precisely how all the features can be used. Moreover, if a customer has any questions with regards to features, we’re always here to answer these without any exaggerations.
At the moment we are implementing editing funcitonality for Gravity forms-based wpDataTables. Once done, we will start researching how to integrate this feature for Formidable-based tables, however it depends on the core and API of Formidable Forms plugin if we will be able to develop that at all.
Thanks for understanding!

Hi,
1) Can Formidable update two tables at same time (make the form as data source for two separate tables) ?
2) Can I make button using report builder which will do word file for the last row of such a table?
3) Can I calculate sum of two columns from two separate tables ?
thanx

Hi any updates on the server side ajax loading and also the ability to edit entries using formidable short codes as per MichaelSmythDesign comments? Just holding out on purchase until these powerful features are implemented. Thanks
Hi,
Thank you for your interest.
This is of course something on our priority list for the next version, together with support for server-side processing. However, it is a huge feature, it is related with so many features that have to be done so we can achieve this one, and we want the feature to work stable – quality is the main focus for us, not the speed. We are working towards it and we apologize for the waiting.
Best regards!
