Planning to purchase

I want to use this on the home page of the website. Would it be able to detect when a specific page goes live and then the HOME page automatically becomes Full Screen and streams the Live Video?

Hi there,

Thank you very much for your interest in the plugin.

The plugin can detect when the Facebook page goes live and can embed the video. It will go fullscreen only when the user clicks the fullscreen button.

If the page is not on live can it display past videos of the past? I am interested in getting this for my client

Thank you for your interest.

Yes. You can achieve this by creating two embed codes, one for current live video and other for recent live videos and put them both in your post/page content.

Please see the user guide to know more about how it works.

Has the ability to add live videos from our personal page been added?

Thank you very much for your interest.

The plugin currently supports Facebook pages only. Support for user profile is under development and will be available in future updates.

Do you know about how long it will be? Weeks, months?

It will be available by the end of this month or in first week of next month. I will add a comment here once it is available.

Hello, I am looking to purchase this plugin, however I have a question before I do. I understand that there is a site wide notification that will appear at the top of the page when the stream goes live, however, would it be possible to show a small “Live” or “Offline” image on pages based on that function either using a shortcode or a css class? Thanks in advance

Thank you very much for your interest in the plugin.

Your requirement will need little bit custom programming as the plugin does not have a Live/Offline button out of the box. A developer can use the data saved by the plugin in database in order to determine the current state (live/offline) of the Facebook page and display a button accordingly.

Thank you for your fast response. Would you be interested in adding this feature in a future update?

We have already made the notification bar AJAX based in the upcoming update which means that the notification bar will appear automatically without needing a page refresh. Also Web based Push notification is in our To Do list. After your comment, we have added Live/Offline button in our To Do list as well but that is currently not in the top priority unless you convince us otherwise.

Thank you.

I am getting this error:

Unable to connect using provided App ID and App Secret: Failed to connect to graph.facebook.com port 443: Timed out

I am doing a Copy/Paste of the ID’s

Thanks for the help

Thank you.

Love this plugin! Please support profiles! I think you just need a button in settings to authorize the person profile account.

Thank you very much.

User profile support is under development and will be available in the next update.

Is the facebook live for normal account already working?

The new release is a bit delayed due to unexpected fresh issues with Facebook API. We have reported the bugs to Facebook, the release will be out as soon as the issues are fixed at their end.

Thank you.

Hello

My 95% of traffic from facebook comming from mobile, ok i got this plugin today because my idea is when visitor coming form mobile their see facebook live in autoplay, but is not working when this visitors click on it automatic redirect to facebook browser, some sugestion for run autoplay on mobiles?

thanks in advance

Hello testing Demo i can play live videos in the same web, how can i do?

thanks

Thank you very much for contacting us.

Regarding the video opening up Facebook app on mobile phones, this is default behavior of Facebook live embeds. Facebook has forced the embedded live videos on mobiles to open the Facebook app. This is true for any embedded Facebook live video.

It is possible for us to always show the desktop version even on mobiles but that will be useless right now because Facebook Live videos use flash player which does not work on most of the mobile devices. So we are keeping an eye on it, as soon as Facebook starts using a HTML 5 player, we will change the plugin to always display desktop version of the embedded video.

Will/Can this be used for Facebook Groups? I want to use in a course style site which users need to pay to gain access too. We currently have a group but are trying to get more onsite interaction as this is where they will be completing their course. Thank you.

Thank you very much for your interest.

Support for Facebook groups is in our plans for future updates. I don’t have an ETA right now for this feature but I will update here once the feature is available.

Thanks for your fast reply. Good to know this is in the works. Excited to see what you come up with.

Does the user have to be logged in to Facebook to see the video on the website?

No. But they will have to login if they want to like/comment/share.

Okay, great, thank you!
