I am getting an error message that I don’t have anything in my stream. Is this due to the recent changes that have been going on at FB in regards to app reviews and data privacy?

To completely remove the plugin along with all its data and settings, please perform the following steps:
- Deactivate the plugin
- Delete the plugin
- Take Backup of the database
- Drop table wp_fbjkembedcodes from database
- Go to wp_options table and delete all rows having “fbjk” prefix in option_name column. Particularly, delete the row with option_name “fbjk_db_version”

Download the latest version of the plugin from CodeCanyon and install it after performing the above steps.

If the problem persists, please renew your support and contact us via email. The new update is definitely working for all our customers. We will fix the issue at your end.

Thanks.

That worked. Thanks.

If you like the plugin and support, please take some time to give us a positive review.

Looks like the instructions are old, facebook won’t allow “Page Public Content Access” and “Live Video Feed” by default it won’t work for me.

Hi there,

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Due to new Facebook data policies, the following requirements must be met. Are you sure that the following requirements are met?

  • The Facebook app being used must be in Development Mode (not live).
  • The user who logs in on the settings page must be an admin/developer of the Facebook app.
  • The user can only create embed codes for Facebook Pages he/she owns.
  • The user can only create embed codes for Facebook groups he/she is an admin of.

Okay, I am able to login with changing app status to development mode, now the following message is showing up when creating embed code ”- Unable to get page data: (#10) To use ‘Page Public Content Access’, your use of this endpoint must be reviewed and approved by Facebook. To submit this ‘Page Public Content Access’ feature for review please read our documentation on reviewable features: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/apps/review."

This error means that the user logged in is not an admin of the Facebook Page whose data is being requested. The logged in user must be an admin of the Facebook Page.

Anyone tried the new update and can confirm its working 100%? The demo not showing that and the 49$ I want something working.

And you have to be Admin of that page you want share video from?

Hi there,

Thank you very much for your interest.

The plugin does work. Due to new Facebook data policy, the following conditions must be met:

  • The Facebook app being used must be in Development Mode (not live).
  • The user who logs in on the settings page must be an admin/developer of the Facebook app.
  • The user can only create embed codes for Facebook Pages he/she owns.
  • The user can only create embed codes for Facebook groups he/she is an admin of.

Ok thanks for the reply.
