Hi, I’m interested in purchasing this plugin as the reviews appear to give it high praise. My question is does it support Wordpress 4.7.2? I noticed the listed software version only goes to 4.6.1.

Thank you for your interest in the plugin. Yes, it does support, description is little old as 4.7.2 is just released. Our demo is currently running wordpress 4.7.2 Please see here: http://demo.shispare.com/fb-live-video-wp-live-preview/

We just started using the plugin and it is great. However, if you go to the page with the live stream on a mobile device you get a message that says “Video Unavailable. This video may no longer exist, or you don’t have permission to view it.”

Thank you for purchasing the plugin. Please contact us using the contact form so that we can share details and see the issue. https://codecanyon.net/user/shispare

Hello – We loved your plugin so far. in our site – we would like to add a button on the home page which became visible similar to the notification banner when there is facebook live activity. Can u share how we can do that?. Also when live session is going on, no previous live videos should be displayed /? need help to address it too. Thanks.

Thank you very much for contacting us.

Adding a button will require some custom coding in the theme.

Regarding hiding recorded/uploaded videos when live session is going on, this feature has been added in a newer version of the plugin which has not yet been released to CodeCanyon.

Please contact us using the contact form on the following page: https://codecanyon.net/user/shispare

We can share the newer version with you so that you don’t have to wait for its release on CodeCanyon. Also we can discuss possibilities of adding homepage button functionality.

Thank you.

RTL support ?

how long should I wait :) ?

It might take a couple of weeks to be released to CodeCanyon but if you need it urgently you can buy the plugin and contact us using the form at our profile page. We will provide you new version of the plugin via email within 24 hours.

Thank you.

Thank you.

I just installed your plug-in and started testing. It worked fine on Desktop browsers, but on Android browser I saw the video player, but I could not play in the browser. Underneath the PLAY button, inside the video poster, it said: ‘Tap to watch on the Facebook app’. The idea is that also non FB users can watch it on our website. How can we achieve this for mobile browsers? Thanks for the great app!

Thank you very much for contacting us.

Regarding the video opening up Facebook app on mobile phones, this is default behaviour of Facebook live embeds. Facebook has forced the embedded live videos on mobiles to open the Facebook app. This is true for any embedded Facebook live video.

It is possible for us to always show the desktop version even on mobiles but that will be useless right now because Facebook Live videos use flash player which does not work on most of the mobile devices. So we are keeping an eye on it, as soon as Facebook starts using a HTML 5 player, we will change the plugin to always display desktop version of the embedded video.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[’, expecting ‘)’ in wp-content/plugins/fb-live-video-autoembed/fb-live-video-autoembed.php on line 96

Thank you very much for contacting us.

I am sorry that you are facing a problem activating the plugin.

The plugin uses Facebook API which requires PHP version 5.4 or above. The error you have mentioned, occurs when the server is running a PHP version older than 5.4. This is mentioned in the plugin description page and also discussed in the comments earlier.

Please upgrade PHP at your hosting and the problem will be fixed.

Hi , i’ve the same problem on mobile , i read in you’re answer that is possible to always show desktop version?

Thank you very much for contacting us.

Yes it is possible for us but currently it is useless. Detailed answer below.

So we are keeping an eye on it, as soon as Facebook starts using a HTML 5 player, we will change the plugin to always display desktop version of the embedded video.

ok thanks , this is a problem i’ve bought this plugin only for mobile and i can’t use it

Sorry but the purpose of the plugin is to facilitate automatic embedding of Facebook Live videos. And the embedded video behaves like any other embedded Facebook live video. If you embed a Facebook live video manually, it will behave same on mobile phones. So the limitation is on Facebook’s part and not the plugin.

Nevertheless, we are doing everything possible for improvement and will continue doing so.

Thank you.

My sound isn’t working even when the sound is active. What do I do?

i am getting this error after setup of plugin …Error loading: Problem with the SSL CA cert (path? access rights?)

This is a server related error. Please try restarting your server or contact your hosting provider.

If the problem persists, please use the contact form to send us your hosting details and we will ask our technical team to have a look.

Thank you.

I contacted my Hosting provider and they said that live streaming is not supported. (This is because an HTTP stream has a defined beginning and end. Live streaming joins in the middle of a broadcast) Since the software is useless I would ask you to please refund my purchased price. Thanks

I feel sorry that you could not use the plugin. The issue is with your hosting and not the plugin. I would suggest you to move to a better hosting. Seems like your case does not fit in any of the refund possibilities in CodeCanyon refund policy, please find the refund guidelines in the following link: https://codecanyon.net/page/customer_refund_policy#not-refundable

Hi there! i really love this plugin. Easy setup, works flawless! Now i want to take it a step further, Is it also possible to place the live video in a widget?

Thank you very much.

Yes there is an easy way to do it. You will have to install the following free plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/shortcode-widget/

It will give you a new widget Shortcode Widget. Simply add the shortcode widget to a sidebar and then add your embed code in the content box.

Also, if possible, please take some time to give us a review. We are working on some great new features for coming update and your rating will encourage us to work harder. Thanks.

“Automatically embed live videos of your facebook page on your WordPress site whenever you go live on facebook.” ... is it possible to detect from multiple pages we own, not just one? I have like 10 pages and I want it to automatically embed the FB live video whenever any of the pages goes live. Also, what if all 10 pages go live at the same time, does the plugin embed all 10 live videos?

Thank you very much for your interest.

Yes you can create embed code for multiple Facebook pages and use them all in your content together. You can configure each embed code to “Show nothing” when the Facebook page is not live.

Is possible for this to iterate through my facebook video and display them all.

Thank you very much for your interest.

You can create embed codes (wordpress shortcodes) for uploaded and live videos of your facebook page. You can set a maximum limit for number of videos to be displayed within the configuration.

So I guess no, I would have to login into my facebook and get the url for each live video then embed them. As to create my app in facebook and add the token an it would pull a my videos.

If you use the plugin, you will have to create a Facebook app (step by step guide is provided) then you will have to configure just one embed code for all the uploaded videos of your Facebook page and one embed code for all the recent live videos of your Facebook page.

Its EXCELLENT! But coulkd use a little pimp on visuals, like equal height, or a light box for videos :)

Thank you very much.

Your suggestions have been noted. We are working on some great new features for coming updates. Please take some time to give us a good review that will encourage us to work harder.

I will, keep up with this GREAT work! :)

Thank You!

Hi, when you add this to yur webpage is it possible to comment live at the webpage or does it goe to Facebook when people want to comment?

Thank you very much for your interest.

They can like/ share from the webpage but comment button will take them to Facebook. It works same in any other Facebook embedded video.

Thanks so much for the quick reply! I think i wil test your product :)

Sure, thanks.

Presale question… Do you plan to do intergration with facebook group? And If so, what ETA for that? That would be huge update for this plugin… I can send multiple people here to buy the plugin if you can get that implemented some time soon..

Thank you very much for your interest.

Yes integration with Facebook groups is in our To Do list but I don’t have an ETA right now. It will probably be included in the next update or after that.
