Barely worked before, now with latest eventon update it is totally outdated.

Support was equal to no support, developer plays fool when it was asked here.

for Documentation Quality

My earlier review was in error, as I had confused this plugin with the EventOn Event API plugin, which did fail to install correctly for me.

I am revising this to 4 stars for the product itself and for the company reaching out about the previous review. Both speak well. I only give four because I believe you could do a much better job providing documentation than what you have. Examples of both CRUD would be appreciated.

for Flexibility

This WordPress plugin would benefit greatly by allowing other plugins and theme files to access the data it generates for GET requests, but without creating a GET request. It wouldn't take a lot of work to move the code that does the work to a globally accessible class or function.

Let's face it, EventOn makes getting the data difficult on purpose. They want you to buy their addons, and that's the nature of business. This is why I wanted to buy this plugin, because I figured it would make it easier to simply get the data I wanted to use. The truth is, this plugin makes it difficult to get that data, because of the requirement to use basic authentication. It would have been better if there were some sort of API keys, like what WooCommerce uses for their REST API.

In the end, this plugin was only useful because I was able to use it to write my own. While doing so, I noticed that this plugin is is great need for refactoring. For instance, most of the work to get events is all crammed into one long method. It's also obvious that a second pair of eyes may have helped cleanup a bunch of unnecessary code.
