How do you add cookies that need not to be loaded if user denies cookies?
I regret to inform you that, unless you implement a mechanism to determine whether a visitor disregards the cookies notice by neither clicking accept nor decline, or if they accept without explicitly declining, your plugin could be perceived as a mere script. Such an implementation, in its current state, may not fully comply with legal requirements, potentially leaving users without adequate legal protection.
Regrettably, your plugin may share similarities with numerous open-source JavaScript scripts that are readily available and often free. I am currently collaborating with a compliance attorney who has emphasized the importance of such a feature, aligning with requirements such as Cookie Notice & Compliance for GDPR / CCPA.

Hi there. First of all I would like to say that all of your widgets are really great, I like it a lot. I use some of them via my Envato Elements subscription, but I struggle with Cookie Consent. How can I get the code to manually paste it to footer? All I can see is a widget shortcode, but when I post it like that, it doesn’t work. I watched your tutorial video, and there is a way to copy the code directly, but I’m not sure if I could do it with the plugin downloaded from Envato Elements.

Your new version is bugged. Every day I get email, that plugin auto-updated, but version does not change. You write, that latest version is 1.1.0 but even if I manually download this version from this page, inside files it shows old 1.0.2 version. Please fix and add correct files.

Hi Elfsight, i don’t can Update my Plugin Elfsight Cookie Consent CC Version 1.0.2 to the new Version 1.1.0. I click the Update Button and then comes the Message “All updates were fully carried out.” But when i go back to the Plugin Update Pages, again i see Update the Plugin. I also upload the Folder with the New Version with FTP, but the same Problem. Its that only a Problem with my Hoster? Thanks

Hi Elfsight, the plugin has been updated, according to WordPress there should be an 1.1.0 update. When I want to install this, it doesn’t update. Also the version here from Codecanyon is 1.0.2. Can I download the update somewhere?

Unfortunately, the activation code is not provided for items downloaded from Envato Elements. The activation code is basically the purchase code you get when you purchase a license on CodeCanyon, so to get one you need to purchase a regular license.

After uninstalling and deleting the plugin I’ve seen that a ‘wp_elfsight_cookie_consent_widgets’ table remains in the database. Is this a normal behaviour?

Hello ! I’m going to love your plugin ! (from elements)
Befor that, I have 2 problems to solve.
1- First is to find a way to put shortcode in every page of the website (made with Divi) : in the footer, it shows the shortcode instead of the widget. But i’m still looking for a solution.
2- For the second issue, I’ll need your help. When displayed, your widgets is just behind a part of my content. Behind the top menu, behind some rows or Divi’s text modules. I’m sure you know what i can put in your custom CSS to solve it !
