Hi,
I have a javascript conflicts problem this plugin with my theme. Can u help me?
Of course, but should give me more details of the problem.
If your template already load the jQuery library, try to turn off the option to load the plugin jQuery.
Hi Max, this looks awesome! Great styling. I have a question. I noticed in your demo that you have multiple comment sections on one page and I am working on a site where I want to have multiple comments sections on one page (instead of one comment section). Can I have multiple comment sections assigned to one page? Wasn’t sure based on the post_id & get options. Thanks & keep up the great work!
Hi mikee88, as you can see in the demo page, it is possible to add multiple comment sections on one page. It is ideal for style sites “Pinterest”. Each comment section identifier is generated using the post_id.
Thanks Max! I just checked out the lite version to try it out. So, I embedded a few comment sections in one page & noticed both show the same comments (for that page). I am looking to have multiple comment areas on a page that each have separate comments. For instance, I have several custom fields each with different content displayed in sections on a page. Each block of custom field content would have a different comment section underneath. Let me know if there’s a best way to do that. Thanks again
In wordpress can only add a comment section to a specific post or page.Since the comments are inserted associating the post_id in the database.
If you want to have several comment sections on a single page you have to add several post on that page (as in the administration page).
If you want to add multiple sections of comments associated with a single post, each separated by custom fields, I regret to say that this plugin does not do that (and I’m almost certain that there is no plugin to do that, sorry).
You can continue your questions, I will gladly answer them.
Got it! I haven’t seen a plugin like that either :-/ But it would be pretty awesome to to have separate comment sections that all associate with the post_id. Seems like it could be doable to separate & direct them all to a post_id, but I guess then you’d have to figure out a way to display them based on another variable (& not the post_id) since that would just loop them all, no? Seems like the closest thing to that now would probably be to loop post types on one page & tie the comments to each post_id.
A great example of multiple comment sections: https://medium.com/about/5972c72b18f2 Found a thread on Github of people talking about possible implementation: https://github.com/themeskult/wp-svbtle/issues/159 Maybe your next project/challenge
Now I understand what you mean. Sorry but this plugin does not do that.
Thanks for your interest!.
No problem! Thank you for your help
ok, good luck in your life!
Hi. I’ve just got the plugin but I’ve got an issue with the shortcodes
I added the code <?php if(function_exists(‘display_saic’)) { echo display_saic();} ?> into a post order to show the comment box in the desired post location but doesn’t work.
See the exemple here http://pracmatic.net/promeet-in-progress/ below the “author post by” area, the short code is not showing the box
Please, could you give me a hand to solve this problem. Thanks!
Hi, are you including this code in your template php? It seems that the problem occurs because there is a space before <?php Try to remove blanks, and see what happens.
You’re using the free version or pro?
Hi Max. Thanks for the quick replay.
I’m using the free version for the moment. Is there any short code I can use to insert the comment box straight in to the post from the wp writing view?
This is what I was trying with the <?php if(function_exists(‘display_saic’)) { echo display_saic();} ?> code
Thanks again
The link How to use Shortcodes
Hi Max. Thanks again for the quick replay.
I don’t know what is going on. I can’t manage to insert the box comments by short code neither following your instructions.
Have a look, again below the “author post by” area… http://pracmatic.net/promeet-in-progress/
I’m getting desperate.
What to do more? Thx
Hi. Try doing what this post to see if the shortcodes work in your current wordpress. Fix: Shortcode does not work
Sometimes the problem is generated by a plugin, so that another solution would be to disable all plugins and go disabling one by one to see which one generates the conflict
Hi Max. I followed again your instructions and still doesn’t work.
Have you tested the short code function in your site?
I don’t know what could be wrong with it but it will be great if you can provide me a definitive solution.
Thanks very much and sorry for being so insistent. I would really love to use the plugin in my side.
Of course I’m using short codes in the page of the plugin is the show. As I said before, you have a plugin that is causing the conflict. Try the plugin on another site or in a new installation of wordpress to check short codes work perfectly. You can also try the original template wordpress. Do not give up, first find what is causing the problem and then solve. Good Luck!
Hi Max, i hope i found what i was looking for!
Is your plugin translation ready?
Thanks
Hello thanks for contacting me, sorry not yet supported for translation.
Are you going to support that in the future and is it easy to translate your plugin with 3rd party plugins like the “codestyling-localization” from WP.
Thanks
Yes, in the future add support for translation. Thanks for the tip.
Hi,
Just bought your plugin and the testing it is very nice. Pretty sure I just found what I was looking for!
One question: the links will move visitors away from the website. Do you know how I’m able to change this? (something like target=”_blank” I believe)
Thanks in advance,
Hello Right now I’m going to modify the code. Can I have your email to send the modified file? Thank you for purchasing my item!
Hi Max,
Thanks for the quick follow-up! I just sent you my e-mail via the profile page.
Great support,
Hi maartenjochem I sent you the file, Thanks
Works like a charm!! Thanks a lot, highly appreciated. This is the system I’m gonna use. Does have everything and more. Would recommend this for sure. (translation tools would be nice indeed)
Thanks, would appreciate your recommendation.
Possible to use with comments_popup?
Hi, I do not understand your question. Could you further elaborate your question?
There is a wordpress function to open the comments in a pop up, i would use your template in this pop up. Is this possible?
No, not possible.
thank you for the updates and new features, appreciated.
rated 5 stars.
You’re welcome thanks for the 5 stars!
I’d like to purchase this plugin. before wd like to check the demo.the demo link is not working, can have a wink on that or any other alternative please?
Hello, this is a link See Live Preview
I just checked the link and it works preview. I just checked the preview link and it works. If you have any questions, I am to answer
Just purchased and wondering if there’s any way to incorporate existing comments in into the new comments loader?
Hi, thanks for purchasing my plugin. Yes you can and not have to do anything, because the plugin loaded by default on any existing comments in wordpress post. You can set the number of comments you want to load from the plugin settings page. If you have any questions, you do it I know Cheers!
I’m getting the error “Busted!” when the plugin tries to incorporate existing comments.
Also, is the plugin compatible with subscribe by email (jetpack) and email notification for reply plugins?
Hello, you should not have that error. Not me or any who bought that mistake puglin throws them. You detallarme a little more how this error out? When writing a comment or existing loading? Solve the problem. No, it is not compatible with jetpack
The problem occurs when the plugin tries to load comments
Can you give me your email to send you a modified file
Sure: anil [at] foxnomad.com
Hey Max
Thanks for including the option to have the comments open on page load, as you promised, and a huge thanks for including the max-width option on images!
All I need now is front-end editing, and the plugin would be just perfect for me!
Many, many thanks
migs
Hello, thank you for purchasing my plugin. The front-end issue with the plugin you mentioned above is not supported, prob-ably later include the ability to edit comments from front-end. And if I do it will be like an extension of this plugin.
greetings from my country
Thanks so much for this plugin! I would love it if you could serve much larger avatar images. At least 80 would be great, but probably double for retina. What do you think?
Hello, to my I think well, but perhaps others do not. So better I will add as an option in the settings page.
Thank you!
Hi, very nice plug-in. I have a problem with it, however. I use it in widget. But the plug-in is displayed again after the post. How to remove duplication?
Hello, you’re using the free version or the full version?.
The plugin is automatically displayed after activation, if you want to manually insert, add <?php if(function_exists("display_saic")) { echo display_saic();} ?> in your php pages, then in the options panel disable the “Insert Auto Show Simple Ajax Comments?”
Hi,I just bought your plugin and so far its working great. I just have one question though. Can I modify it so the comments load automatically without having to click the comments first?
Thanks,
Danny
Great Plugin! just need to have an option to have the comment box to load automatically.
Hello, this function will already have it complete, and will be available in the next update (4 days or so), but I can send you the modified with this function included file.
Just give me your email. Thank you!

Hi, yes of course. In the next update (5 days or so) I will include that functionality. But if you need to, right now I you send the modified file.
Just give me your email.
And thank you!
Hi Max
When is the next update going to be?
Any chance you can add a like and dislike button?
Cheers
Hello, I think that in 5 or 6 days or so (I’m a bit short of time). I also had thought that functionality, it will work in these days and see how it is.
hi,
i was looking in building a wordpress website ,also with a mobile responsive theme, what i was looking for something to work with :
-picture albums
-work with wp responsive theme
now,
-will your plugin able to post a comment from my site to facebook? after someone did comment on a picture on my website?
-also share icons integrated within your plugin?
whats your advice in what i wanted to do? do you know a picture album that will work with your plugin? and a responsive theme? also that will do the job, when your plugin is installed?
thanks you,
Hi, my plugin does not support facebook. Only allows to more easily manage comments wordpress.
I have not tried any plugin for photo albums, do not quite understand what you want to do with the photos …
The more I use the plugin, the more I like it. It’s what the built-in Wordpress comments should have been like all along.
One problem I’m having though, is when I try to do front end editing, the comments – the entire plugin, actually – disappear. If I enable the standard WP comments, front end editing works just fine.
The plugin I’m using is Front-End Editor
Is this something that can be fixed? If not, do you know of a front end editing plugin that might be compatible?
Paul
Hello, I will review the plugin “Front-end Editor” to see how it works … I hope there is a simple solution.
That’s great, thanks. Any method of front end editing would be great.
Good work. Would be a good option to leave comments immediately opened…
Hello, in the next update will add that option, but for now I can send you a modified file that is included that functionality. Simply replace the existing one.
If you want to give me your email and I sent it.
Thank you!
Sorry if you see question duplicated elsewhere, I just realised you were here.
I notice that images are resized according to column width, as expected, but is there a way to restrict the image size in the comment, and have the full size open in a lightbox?
I don’t want users posting large images and making the layout look ugly if I use a full page width.
Thanks
migs
Hello, for now the images are perfectly adapted to the width of the container (not destroy your layout).
In the next update will add an option to set the size of the images. Do you want a fixed size or a maximum size?
In the coming days I will work in support for lightbox.
Greetings!
Hi Max
If I could choose, I’d like it to be configurable, as I may use more than one instance in the site.
Alternatively, I’d be happy to restrict the image width to 100% of the container or 300px, whichever is the smaller.
Regardless, I am impressed enough by the speed you add requested features to buy the plugin anyway.
Cheers!
Paul
It is exactly what it does, using CSS are restrains to 100% width of images and videos, that will not destroy your layout.
As I said does this automatically. In the next update you can modify that value from the options panel.
Thk!
Thanks. I know it will always fit the width, I just don’t want images posted that are 1000px wide!
You have a great plugin, no doubt!
Question, just bought and installed and it works, is there a way to have the comments show right off the bat instead of having to click the comments button and the comments to drop down? Thanks for your help, so far so good.
Hello, Thank you for buying my article, for the present it is not possible to do what you want, I will implement it in a future update. Thank you!
Dang, that is the main part of my website (the comments section) i wanted to feature. Are you sure i cant just go into the script and change some code from collapse to open?
Hello, I can do what you want, but like I said I will send an update to envato review by a simple modification of code. But if you want to have that functionality could send saic_script.min.js modified file, so you replace it by the one in the plugin. Once you replace that file, you’ll see that everything works as you want. Before replacing, make a backup of that file.
Tell me how you send the file, I will be waiting. Thank you
Do you want to send it to my email?
ok, give me your email

Hi, I already sent you the file, before replacing it makes a backup of the original file.
If everything looks good, you make me know.
Greetings!
Boom! Works Perfectly!! Thank you!
ok, I’m glad that works. In the next update will add this feature, and you can set from the plugin options panel. Greetings!
