Thank you, it works great, i just have one question how do i make sure that the plugin posts the book that i want and not what it wants based on query. For example lets say i want the book to only post the “harry potter and the chamber of secrets” instead of all of them or the one that it wants, how do i achieve that?
Please try setting the ‘Max # Posts’ settings field to 1 – in this case, only the most relevant result should be posted on your site.

Thank you and sorry for the massive delay in reply, i tested out and it works that way but not always, but that is fine. I would love to purchase it, just one thing is there anyway to format the item content? Because when the post is published the item content is just a big chunk of paragraph and not formatted in a proper readable form like how it is on the google books.

Thank you. I see now. Well, unfortunately this part of the text is returned unformatted by the Google Books API and I have no way of restoring its original formatting, because I don’t get info of this.

Also one more question: The option “Do Not Check For Duplicate Posts:” prevents posting of dublicate Posts, does it check the book ID or title to identify whether the post has already been published on the site or not?
I made an update to the plugin, now content is broken into paragraphs.
Also, duplicates are checked by book ID.

alright no worries, thanks for the quick replies.
I also noticed one more thing, if i use %item_image_url % in the post it loads the picture in http and not https, so that leaves a warning on the browser. If you could tell me what file to edit to fix that it would be great, not giving you the trouble to update the plugin again.
Updated the plugin again, new version which will be available in 30 minutes will fix this.

1. Google Books’ AffiliateID is configured as follows, so I need to put a deep link after the link.

1. I updated the plugin to v1.3.0 – I added a new input field in the plugin’s ‘Main Settings’ -> ‘Google Books Affiliate ID’ settings field.
2. This issue should also be fixed in this update.
3. I checked, but unfortunately the Google Books API does not offer support for searching books by bestsellers, so this is not possible.

Hello, yes, importing free books is possible. You can set this in the ‘Book Filtering’ settings field ‘Free Ebooks’, to import only free books.

Dear author, the plugin was not working with the G Books API Key. You contacted with them, and I also clarified in my last comments and emails to you, the item is not fetching the books in an order from G Books. Did you look at these errors?

Unfortunately, the book ordering error you are having is not caused by the plugin, but by an API issue on Google Books API response. Because of this, it cannot be fixed by me, and it must be fixed by the Google Books API team. I reported the issue to them, on their support thread, but there was no update on this issue since then, from their part.
I am sorry for this inconvenience, I will try to raise another issue to their support, maybe this time they will take it into consideration…
