This depends on the type of website you want to build, as you can choose different methods of aproach. You can import full articles and spin them, or you can simply add the content in iframes. Both are good options, but the spinning method is a bit risky, as in some cases, the content might not be made 100% unique and search engine crawlers might still detect it as duplicate. This will not be the case when using iframed content.
However, iframes have lso their drawback, as they don’t provide as nuch seo value for your site as a full article would, as much of the seo goes to the iframed site, however, in this case, your site will never get penalized.

Nice idea, what if the plugin would allow to add HTML before and after the iframe, so you can encapsulate it into a reader, created by you?

Actually, I forgot that this is already possible, you can change the way the iframe appears using the ‘Post Content Template’ settings field from the plugin’s settings menu.
You can add there your own reader’s HTML, encapsulating the
%%show_iframe%%shortcode.

It is possible to be done in the plugins, they can already extract content from sites, even without the iframe plugin, however, adding this feature to the iframe plugin might also be useful, so I will check on this.

I wonder if it’s a caching problem on my end, I visited the quoramatic demo before I tried the iframe demo. Very weird issue, I tried this multiple times, but for me this is not happening, I tried before Quoramatic demo and right after the iframe demo, and it worked.
Please try logging out from the Quoramatic demo first and try the iframe demo afterwards.
If not, please try using an incognito browser or a different browser.
Let me know if this helped.

If you leave the manual_post_url custom field empty (if I understood this correctly), than the plugin will display the original post content of the post you are viewing (it will not be activated). In this case, the shortcodes you set will not show, and it will show the original content of the post.
Also, in the next plugin update I will add also the shortcode:

No, the plugin cannot add CSS to the pages inside the iframes.
Regarding other plugins that advertise that this is possible, I am not sure if they tell the truth about it. Modifying iframes with CSS was denied by all major browsers in updates back in 2016, since then this is not allowed.
However, you can set exceptions to this, if you control the source pages, please read more on this, here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Same-origin_policy
Another way this can be done is to load iframes using a proxy, but this will lower the performance of page load speed, because the server needs to load the target page, and serve it back to each visitor, so this is neither a good option. However, if you wish to get this feature, let me know, and I will think on implementing it.

1. The plugin was updated today, this feature was added to it – it is not required any more to use a redirect URL to show the iframe. Please update to v1.1.3 and delete the content of the ‘Location URL of the [aiex-dispay-iframe] shortcode’ settings field from the plugin settings -> save settings -> the plugin will use the URLs of the original posts to show the iframes (not modify URLs).
2. This is not possible, modern browsers do not allow us to modify the content that is displayed in an iframe (was possible only many years ago).

Some pages do not allow them to be added in an iframe, and return a ‘page not found’ error in the iframe.
The plugin can now detect if the page is not allowing the iframe embedding, and automatically deactivate in these cases. This is done using the X-Frame origin feature.

1. You can set the iframe to fit your page’s size and it will inherit the design of the original page you embed on your site, so the design will look good.
2. Regarding the source list, that is generated by this other plugin, with which this iframe plugin works: https://1.envato.market/newsomatic – this will generate the articles from sources, while the iframe plugin will embed them in your page.
3. No spinning involved, and not issues with Google, because iframes are considered safe to use (no duplicate content penalties).

Show only specifiy areas of the iframe Even if you are NOT on the same domain and you are NOT able to modify the external page you can show a part of the remote iframe. With the included area selector you can simply select the area you want to show with your mouse. Also you can hide certain areas of the other page. For perfect integration zoom is also supported!

Yes, I saw, but all sites that he uses in his demos are on his own domain. You can set a header value to the sites you own, so they will be allowed to be modified by CSS when they are embedded in iframes: https://benohead.com/blog/2015/12/07/cross-document-communication-with-iframes/
He simply set this flag to pages from his test domain, so they can be edited in iframes.
This will not be possible with pages imported with my plugins, because none will have this flag set.
I suggest that you check and confirm this with the other developer.
