Hi, I have some webpages where I have some Text to Speech content and these are working well on the web. When people click on the texts, they can listen to audios, but on the WebViewGold app, those do not work. Hi I love ur project, but recetly been facing issues due to Gradle. This script works fine with Gradle 7–8, not 9, it uses multiple deprecated APIs and plugin declarations, One signal outdated erros etc, thats all the error i am getting spicaly with Gradle wont go pass. I have a question regarding Google Sign-In: Does WebViewGold support native Google account picker integration (the one that shows all accounts already logged in on the device)? Or does it only open the standard Google login webpage inside the WebView, where the user has to type email and password again? Many of my users prefer the native Google account dialog, so I would like to know if this option is supported or planned, also native libraries recompiled for 16 KB memory page sizes.

- 16 KB memory page sizes: Already supported in current builds.
- Google Sign-In (today): WebViewGold uses the standard web-based Google login flow inside the WebView.
- Native Google account picker: Not included yet. We do offer a custom Social Login Helper, and we have a proof of concept for native SDK integration in progress.
Please note: A native Google SDK flow requires deeper integration on the web app side (e.g., secure token exchange). It is not just a visual replacement of the in-WebView dialog with the native one.

As long as you only have one end product live/published, you will not need another license. But when releasing another end product (= published app in the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store) another license of WebViewGold is required.

I want to add a custom header for the config.HOME_URL to make sure the url loads only in the app, not directly via browser.
Hello sandiproy876 & thanks so much for your comment. At the moment, direct header modification isn’t supported. However, you can easily achieve your goal with one of these approaches:
– Custom GET parameter – e.g. yoururl.com?secret=app123
– Custom User-Agent – e.g. AppClient123
This way, your server can check the parameter or User-Agent to ensure the URL loads only within your app. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask.

Bug report – Video Playback: In version 16.5, when playing a video in full screen, when the user presses the back button to exit full screen, the app screen size shrinks. Please ensure testing on the s24u device with Android 15 after the fix.

Issue with Custom Scheme Deep Linking (Blank Page)
I’ve followed the WebViewGold documentation step by step to enable custom scheme deep linking using: Php template: Open Deep Link
and added the correct intent-filter with: <data android:scheme=”seniors” android:host=”seniorshealth.thevitatrack.com” />
However, clicking the link always results in a blank error page inside the app. I also tried removing the host, changing schemes, and using different link formats like:
Still, nothing works.
Please clarify:
The exact format the deep link should follow.
What the <data> section must contain.
Whether seniors://https://... is actually the required syntax (which seems very unusual and unsupported).
Why valid links are opening a blank page instead of loading the WebView content.
This needs clearer documentation and working examples.

Anyway, to implement custom scheme deep linking in your WebViewGold app, here are the clarifications and steps you need to follow: Deep Link Format: The correct format for your deep link should be: seniors://<your-path> For example, if you want to link to a specific page, it could look like: seniors://page <data> Section: Your <data> section in the AndroidManifest.xml should look like this: <data android:scheme=”seniors” android:host=”your-host” /> Make sure to replace your-host with the appropriate host if needed. If you don’t need a host, you can omit it: <data android:scheme=”seniors” /> Syntax: The syntax seniors://https://... is not correct. You should not include the https:// part in the scheme. The scheme should only be followed by the path you want to navigate to within your app. Blank Page Issue: If valid links are opening a blank page, it could be due to: The URL not being correctly formatted or not matching the expected path in your app. The WebView not being able to handle the deep link properly. But when I open this deep link, I just get a blank page.
