ttf format is required for font. You can use an online service to convert your font in ttf for free :

The style id modifiable by css.

To obtain results similar to demo first you have to use the same font (Roboto) or a similar font.

Two element are important :

typed_div : all the sentence fixed text included

typed : only the typed sentence.
