Hi there, is this similar to Smart Manager for WooCommerce? if so, can you please advise the differences. I was about to purchase smart manager by storeapps, but just seen this plugin.

Do you mean the permalink? Product url is related to affiliate products.
yes permalink for each variation. Basically after a quick way to determine the permalink for each variation so I can directly link to that variation. Thanks
Do they have permalinks ? I think variations change by javascript on the product page hence they don’t have own links.

It turns out that whole variation link functionaility is made by the plugin, it’s not available otherwise. I can’t put anything that is dependant on another plugin beside woocommerce.

Just updated the plugin, and it no longer returns product variations.

There should not be any problem, did you use any search filters?
Yes, I searched by SKU.
All of my products have a SKU prefix to denote which supplier / brand the product comes from.
So I search by SKU (Begins With), to show all products from that brand.
And no product variations display, only base products.
I am also unable to click in the SKU field. I cannot copy, paste, or edit product SKUs.

Hey there! Just an idea. Rather than just bulk editing of WooCommerce products, how about making this plugin (or a bigger brother of it) to be able to choose and select custom post types, taxonomies and fields?

Hello, would it be possible to add custom fields and make calculations using the value of the text entered in these fields? For example, adding a “Cost” custom field, and “Profit”. The formula would be : Product price – Cost = Profit. I would only enter the data in the Cost field, and it would calculate the data that needs to go in the “Profit” field automatically. Thanks!
Hi, that is a connection between 3 fields and is not supported, you can generate field values based on 1 other field only.
Hi. Just bought your plugin. I can’t see the Images Field/Column in the spreadsheet view of the Advanced Bulk Edit screen when I Get Products in from a Category. do I need to enable something? It’s meant to show the featured Image for the products right?

How do I use this plugin to set Allow Backorders to No across all products and variations?
Enable that field via the “Show/Hide Fields” button first, then select all of the products and use the “Bulk Edit” button.

Did you click “OK” in the fields dialog ? The filed should also appear as a column in the main table of products.

I have it set to bulk edit 1000. I just set Do not allow back orders across all products and it has greyed out the table and an ajax loading icon is showing. It has been like that for over 5 minutes?
It depends,my hosting handles 1000 products in 15-20 seconds. You can lower the product limit to 200-300.
What do you mean by “Sale Price From (direct editing only), Sale Price To (direct editing only)” ? Can I BULK edit sale price dates?
yes, they can but not in the bulk dialog but via the “linked editing” function only, you can watch the main video demo about it and try it on the demo site.
A pre-sale question: I am looking for a tool to handle stock management but I am using WPML. I can see in your WPML movie that the update in 1 language is saved to the other language, but actually I only want to see these products once in my list, not for each language… Is there a way to filter the list like that? Hence this plugin would be ideal for me.
That would not be possible, I’ll have to lookup wpml’s database tables and that’s an error-prone hack.

Isn’t it possible to show a specific category? For example “Men” which should not show the products linked to “Hombre” (the Spanish translations)? But the stock number do should be synced between languages upon saving…

Yes, if you change the wpml language from the admin bar, only those categories will be shown(and only the products that belong to them on search).

I really like that my custom attributes immediately appear in the search filters.
One thing that isn’t in the search filters that I’m wanting is the “Shipping Class”. I have made the column appear in the results table, but I would like to filter by that column.
Is there a setting somewhere to choose extra fields to be in the search filters? Or a line of code (a hook?) to add this in?
If this isn’t possible I will export to CSV and open it in Excel – which is still much faster than before I had your plugin – but I ideally want to be able to filter in the plugin interface. Is that possible? Thanks!

if I’m selecting 3 products at the Bulk editor, click on the image, select a new image and click on “Apply action to all selected products” the image just changes for this product, bus not for all selected products!
This is a very important feature for us, so can you please check that?

Thank you. this plugin has saved me hours and hours of manual work.
However, in the next update please… 1. Add ability to create new variants in BULK. as it stands, you can only create new variations for an product with attributes 1 at a time. Since attributes change from product to product, I’m sure it’s difficult to do many products at once. Maybe to select whichever attribute you want or auto select the 1st one. From there, we can bulk edit the rest.
2. PLEASE add ability to “bulk edit” the “default variation” for a product. right now, you can’t.
3. PLEASE add ability for each variant to inherit the main image of a product automatically when created (OR) ability for us to bulk edit many variations and have them inherit main image from their products.

2) I don’t remember if this is implemented but have you tried the “linked editing” function with default attributes, it should work in theory, setting the same value to all of the selected products.

For issue #1… Watched the video. Tried it on my site. Worked like a charm. Thank you! You just saved me an ADDITIONAL 6-8 hours of work.
For issue #2…. no. “Linked Editing” does not affect the changes made on the main page for DEFAULT ATTRIBUTE. The main page is the only place you can set the default attribute. it is not an option in the “Bulk Edit” popup modal screen.

3. it would be fantastic if the image was set automatically when creating variations. I can’t imagine anyone NOT wanting at the very least the main image to represent the variant. if they want it to change to a certain color or item, they can do that later. but having something is better than nothing. (or maybe a checkbox option)
Also, the current “bulk set image” is to have them all set to be the same exact image. It would be nice to be able to bulk set the variation images to become the products main image (which is different image id for each product).

2nd issue…
Is that the “Set manual table height” worked once.
Then, later, when I returned to use the Bulk Editor, the height went right back to its original state. I cannot even RE-set the height. It just stays at its original state.
3rd issue…
The “column ordering is saved” function does not seem to work.

Table height works with me, column orderding is saved each time when you save the changes in the table.

Ran into one issue…
Products that we assign “Sale” prices to via the Bulk Edit plugin are not seen by the “WooCommerce Products” sidebar widget that is set to display “On-Sale Products”.

At the moment, the only resolution is to manually go to each and every “Sale” product and to click the “Update” button,

Is the “Call woocommerce action on save” option checked ?
Yes. It is.
What also happens is if the “Sale” price is removed, the product will show up in the sidebar widget with the “regular” price, as opposed to being removed from it.

This phenomena only occurs with the WooCommerce wdget, and not with the Regular “Shop” page.
FYI -
When you set the “WooCommerce Products” sidebar widget to show “Featured Products” it works just fine.
It is the “Sale” products that have issues.

It comes with the “default” WooCommerce .
I even turned off all my other plugins ( except for WooCommerce ) and still have the same issue.
Tried 3.2.2 and still did not work.

You can set the same image/gallery to the selected products, you can try it for yourself on the demo site, follow the live preview link.
in your demo the function “apply to all selected products” isn’t working atm, if I select some products, click on the image field, choose an image and click on “Apply action to all selected products”: would be great if you have a solution for this!!
That option must be checked before selecting the image because the image change is saved to the database right after that.
