I sent you an email, i need help i cant see the Pre Order Botton.
Plus, i would like to know if i can change DATE FORMAT because in my country we use Day/Month/Year.
Thank you !!
You can change the format in the plugin code by changing :
jQuery(’#availability_date’).datepicker({ dateFormat: “yy-mm-dd” });
to
jQuery(’#availability_date’).datepicker({ dateFormat: “dd-mm-yy” });
Hello Scopes
Thank you for a very useful plugin. It saved my bacon!
Just one little problem we seem to be having. When a product is “pre-purchased” no admin notification emails are going out, and I don’t think the regular “thanks for your order” email is going out to the customer either. Have you had any issues like this before? Is there anything that we may have over-looked?
All site and woocommerce settings are correct, and we have an SMTP plugin activated to ensure this is not causing the problem.
Thank you!
Cheers, Rob
Hi
The email is sent to the buyer only,I can cc the admin email for you though.
Hi Scopes.
Thank you for your reply.
Yes, we do need some way through the website to be notified of a purchase. If the regular admin notification email is “de-activated” by the plugin, then some sort of fix is needed. If you suggest a cc of the email that goes out to the customer, then I guess that’ll do!
How do we proceed from here?
Thank you, Rob
I’ll include it in the next update of the plugin. Thanks
Pre-purchase question: Does this plugin work with variable products? e.g. pre-order color red when it will be available?
It doesn’t work with variable products.
Thanks.
Would it be possible to achieve this thing separately / privately?
Not looking into doing at the moment.
Seems like the Plugin doesn’t work with Woocommerce 2.3.7. After activation everything crashes (white page only). Any hints to get it working?
Probably conflicting with another plugin on your site. Kindly send me a temporary login to check it.
Just sent login data (via e-mail)
I’m not able to see preorder as an option on products that i’ve set to be for preorder. Also the payment options is not showing up.
Send me a temporary login to review the issue.
With this plugin can a customer add more then one pre order product lets say 3 different products with three different release dates will it support that. I use the woo themes pre order and it wont allow that. I want it to be like when a customer orders three different products with different dates i see on the back end of woo commerce those orders but as each item comes in for that customer i can release the email for them to go pay for that order. Hope i made scene.
Yes,the plugin supports that.
ok cool. So if a customer orders 3 different products with different dates ill be able to send him an email for each different order as it comes in. So its not going to send an email out saying pay for all 3 when only one came in correct. I also use braintree for my credit card gateway. Now if a customer wants to use a credit card and not let it hit the cc right away this wont allow it correct. Braintree has a vault that hold the cc for this reason. Not sure if this plugin will work with braintree for that.
ok so i don’t want to come off rude but do you lie so you can get a sale. it seems like that. I asked if this can do this were a customer orders 2 different products with different release dates and when each product comes in i can charge them. Well no it puts all the orders together and when one product comes in i have to charge for both. I don’t want it charging for both products at the same time when there will be different dates there coming in. Is there away to fix it or no.
Hi
I think there might have misunderstood my response. The plugin supports adding 3 different pre-order products to the cart at the same time.
yes i see how you can add 3 different pre orders in the cart but if you add 3 different pre orders with all different dates it wont allow you to see on the backend all 3 orders. It puts all 3 orders together and not individualize. For example say your order from my web sight and you find 2 pre orders you want and there both 10 bucks. but with 2 different dates one comes out in july the other in august. You place the order for them both comes too 20 bucks. Ok so now on the back end were i see the orders i see you placed the order but it puts both products as one order so i cant have you pay for the one in july then when the one comes in august i cant have you go back and pay for that. It has it were i send out the email to pay for the july product but also wants you to pay for the august product. I hope im making sence and you understand what im trying to say. Not sure if there maybe is a code to change or just maybe it cant support that. Im sorry for all the long replays and for the last reply being rude.
add to cart wont update to pre purchase??
can someone help with with it still shows add to cart and not pre-order
Try switching themes and let me know if the issue still exist.
Hi Scopes, Why does it empty my cart when I add a pre-purchase product? I won’t be using the charge me later gateway. I need for my customers to be able to pay for everything at once. Is there an easy fix for this?
Only pre-purchaseable products can be in the cart at a time.
The Button Text doesn’t seem to be showing on all of my product pages. Could you provide some assistance? I’m using Paypal and Maya Shop Theme, Also using the most recent Woocommerce and Wordpress version.
Hi,yes I can look into it. Likely to be an issue with your theme.
Great, thank you. I will email you with log in details that you’ll need shortly in order to assist me!
Emailed you with the log in details. Please let me know if you run into any trouble. Thank you for your help in advance!
Fixed it.
Thank you so much. Much appreciated! Rated you 5 stars! Have a great day!
Thank you.
how to install this plugin in??
Via admin. Install via plugins page.
Hi Scopes,
We really need the basic features of this plugin, but it is missing something special to our case.
We know it is not working this way for now and we understand that. Do you think you could develop a new feature: which will give a discount on the regular price only applied when pre-ordering the item?
I assume you will say no. In that case, should we think it is possible to build that feature on top of your plugin (directly modifying your code) to achieve this particular feature? I mean, in your opinion, is it achievable?
I have see the official WooThemes Pre-Orders extension and there is a feature like the one we need. But still, we don’t know if the Pre-order Fee could be negative (I know it sounds strange, but we do offer a discount on pre-order) and anyway we need it to be a percentage, not a fixed fee.
We are not asking to you support about the official WooThemes Pre-Orders extension, just using it as a reference to explain our specific needs.
Thanks for your reply and time, we appreciate that
Hi
It’s possible to build such a feature into the plugin but I have not really looked much into it.
Great! Bad reviews are censored from this page. They just deleted mine. Watch out, don’t waste your money on this unless you want to have headaches. (Lets see if this one gets posted).
Hi
Send me an email with issues you’re experiencing using the plugin. It’s easier for me to respond to emails and if you’ve emailed me without response, pardon me because at times I actually don’t get to receive the emails in my inbox.
Hi I just purchased the plugin, but the “Button Text” doesn’t seem to work for me. I’m using: Woocommerce version 2.3.4 with WordPress 4.0.1
Not sure if I missed anything… or this plugin is not compatible with the environment I have…
thanks!
Send me a temporary login.
i have purchased this product today only to find it breaks my site and on the admn side i get a blank page
Hi,Kindly email me a temporary login of your wordpress site so I can find out what the issue is.
can i use HTML on email template?? i tried to used it but when hit “save” all the HTML is messed up , the plugin add this symbol ”/” on the HTML ??
Yes you can use html on email template.
Hello, I intend to set all my products as pre-order only, so the clients can order on my site and pay later through Square Gateway (manually). After i contact them of course.
So entire cart pre-order and pay later only as gateway. Do you see any possible issues there?
Is it compatible with Woocommerce 2.3 and WPML (translation)?
Thanks.
The plugin is compatible with WC 2.3,has english and spanish language support and you can translate it easily to any other language. I don’t see any compatibility issues using the plugin as you have described.
This guy does not reply nor gives any support for this module, all issues I had with my other plugins where promptly looked into and resolved. This plugin is not worth your money. DONT BUY
Hi, sorry for the late response. Believe me, there is a genuine reason for that. Have I responded to your ticket?
Hello!
Great plugin, but I’d need “days, month, year, hours” etc. (in the countdown) in italian… how can I do?
Thank you
Hi, another thing…on the product page I have: Available on: 2015-03-05. But I need the date to be 05-03-2015. How can I do that? I’ve tried to modify some files, but without success… Thank you
I’m not receiving any emails on purchases. I have prepurchase attached to subscriptions, and when I login after the launch date it still lets me purchase with Pay Later instead of my normal payment gateway.
There seems to be a bug with the preorder items. after selecting a payment method (PayPal in this case), when I am taken to the paypal page, if I click back (decided to make a change or not to go with the order) the item is removed from cart and I get a preorder confirmation (with no payment :-|).
Please advise
Thank you
Is this after the availability date or before?
