Ok – so is what this plugin offers really is a review of payments from within Admin panel ? I mean – couldn’t i just load the PayPal button and create a widget to place in the sidebar on my own?
But if the Admin panel view of payments makes it easier for a non – tech savvy client to view PayPal transaction while they are adding pages – then I guess this is a big plus eh?
Plus this might be a good idea for anyone needing to collect deposits before meeting clients. Say Photographers perhaps?
Do I understand that this creates a Widget I can use on any page? And that is is customizable so a PayPal seal could be added, etc?
Am I right? Ready to buy but slightly hesitant.

Script allows you to start accepting paypal payments within minutes after purchasing and downloading. Installation is very simple, just activate the plugin and put widget someplace on your site. All payments will then be shown in the transactions section with options for reporting per period of time (and some others).
You can also setup this script as a pre-defined payments, you can create some services, lets say service 1 for $50, service 2 for $150 service 3 for $300 and visitors of the website will be able to select that service and pay pre-defined amount.
As mentioned here in the comments before – it can also be used for accepting donations over paypal easily. You don’t need to edit any files to start receiving payments ( no need to create paypal button and place it in source code … ), simply install, activate – ready to go.
You can adjust front end (adding images, etc) of the script by editing css or 1 php file which displays the widget, you can contact us if you will need help with that.

When we created plugin – we used wordpress localization functions, which basically means that if such phrase exists in your wordpress.pot file – it will be displayed in your default wp language. If it is not displayed there – you will need to manually edit wordpress.pot file to add it. That’s the only way right now – how to localize the plugin.
Hi, nice work, but it looks that i have the same problem as “hesleskaug”- I get this error in “PayPal Payment Terminal Overview”: “Table ‘databasename.wp_pppt_transactions’ doesn’t exist” I have the latest version of wordpress and prefix “wp_” . What was the problem last time?

What I want to achieve is to make a website, where I can share my stuff and people make a small volunteer support from the sidebar widget of yours and only after that they’ll have access to the download link in the end of the post…
The thing is that this plugin looks like a partial solution.. and my question is – if I buy the plugin – is there a way to automatically allow access to those who have paid ? Is there another plugin of yours I should buy… or is your plugin OK to be used with certain free plugin that you gonna recommend ?

If you have some PHP /MySQL knowledge you can adjust the functionality of our script to suit your needs, or try asking on the forums, I’m sure somebody will agree to do it for you for some extra $$

Yes, that’s correct, we suggest you to use the basic (non-wp) version.
There is no any kind of administration in that script, it is very basic. It doesn’t keep log of the transactions, you would need to add some php/mysql stuff to record transactions.
All settings of the script are set in the config file. If you will buy the script you will receive a documentation file explaining how to change and what.

Yes you can use it for donations. All you need to do is edit “PAY NOW ” button text through script settings from within wordpress to read – “Donate”, and select “hide” next to “show services field” – optionally you can also hide comments field, that way your visitors will see only amount field and “Donate” button.
Alternatively, you can hide amount field and create couple of predefined “services” which will be – “Donate $10”, “Donate $50”, “Donate $100” and your customers will only need to select the desired donation from drop down and click “donate”

I think it would be easier to add needed functionality to standalone paypal payment terminal rather than modifying wordpress version back to regular version…
i want to use this one for sale tickets, is possible to do that? i want to setup daily tickets and on description the user to check a calendar and when click on calendar to be able to buy a ticket?

There is no calendars associated with this plugin. If you have some knowledge of php and mysql – you can try modifying this script per your needs. As we see it right now – you can sell tickets as you described, however there is no inventory control and there is no calendar, you’d need to add tickets (consider “services” to be tickets) on a daily basis and your customers will be able to select any service (ticket) from dropdown and purchase it.

Front end looks the same how you see it here: http://funforging.com/playground/ on the right side of page there is “PAY BY PAYPAL ” – that’s it for the front end. Fields which you see are customizable.

Is it possible to use this as well as another ecommerce plugin at the same time ? For example wp e-commerce or Shopp ? I’m wondering whether they will interfere with each other ?
I’d like to use your nice simple plugin for people to enter the amount of their invoice to be paid, but use the other more complex e-commerce plugins to handle all the usual shopping cart stuff.

We built this script with such issues in mind, so it shoud not be a problem. All database tables and variables have special prefix which is not supposed to be encountered in any other existing script. You can try it and let us know if any problems, and if so – we will assist you to make it working.
