OK, I’ve gone through researching and/or purchasing a few add-ons now to find none of them are doing what I need.

When will the recurring payments be available for the regular PayPal WordPress add-on please? Not having this option is not helpful.

Does your PHP version of the standard PayPal Payment Terminal where you can select from services, make recurring payments etc. work through WordPress via an I frame?

I had bought the Stripe version because your main payment version that accepts many different types of vendors did not utilize PayPal standard. Then I find the Stripe version does not have on off options and seems to not work with just PayPal only.

I need regular PayPal with recurring payments to be able to be used via WordPress through an I frame, or I’ll direct it to a PHP page using the standard PHP PayPal version of a payment module.

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated, but it would be nice to have a setup in WordPress just like the PHP version works where someone can select a one time payment, or a recurring payment and make the payment, or select from a list of pre-programmed services as well.

Thanks in advance for your help, and my apologies for the frustration of having several scripts now that wont do what I need them to do.

Doljr

Hi Doljr,

Thanks for purchasing our product.

1. At the moment, it’s hard to tell when we will add the recurring option to current product.

2. Our PayPal Payment Terminal (non-WP) also doesn’t have the recurring option.

3. PayPal redirect (Standard) does not open in an iframe. PayPal will block the display of PayPal page within an iframe automatically. You’d have to adjust the payment form to submit into a new window/tab – so the redirect happens in that new page and not within the iframe.

4. Based on our selection of products, I can only suggest custom development (which we can provide, based on PayPal WP product for example) – if interested, please get in touch through the form on our profile.

NOTE:

MyISAM tables are what we use and the plugin is currently working just fine with MySQL 5.5

=======

Will your product still work If we switch our server from MySQL 5.5 to MariaDB 10.2 ?

While still using MyISAM tables ?

@Cooca No, and they ignore support requests.

Is this plugin still being actively developed & supported?

Hi Cooca,

It is supported, but not actively developed at the moment. We do have plans to improve the product and release update, but there is no ETA as of now.

hello, I am building a website for my animal sanctuary. Can I use this plugin for crowd funding, meaning that I would like my site members (animal shelters and individual rescuers) to be able to solicit donations for their own animal welfare activities, while I, as admin, can also solicit donations for my very own animal welfare activities – can this be accomplished using this plugin?

Hi man_o_man,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Unfortunately, this plugin doesn’t have multi-user functionality. You can create payment form/button but it all will go to a single paypal account and only you as admin can control it, no other users.

is this PHP 7.0 compatible ?

It is. If you have any issues – please open support ticket at criticalgears.com/support-tickets and we’ll assist you.

Hello CritcalGears,

On my website I am receiving the following PHP error when I try to submit a payment through the terminal…

Warning: mysql_query(): Access denied for user ''@'localhost' (using password: NO) in /home/username/public_html/sales/wp-content/plugins/paypal_payment_terminal/paypal_terminal.php on line 563

Warning: mysql_query(): A link to the server could not be established in /home/username/public_html/sales/wp-content/plugins/paypal_payment_terminal/paypal_terminal.php on line 563

Need help.

Hi,

We received your support request and will reply within tomorrow.

I want to generate Payment sites for my clients with Projectnumber, Description of the service and an fix amount. so that every client gets his own paymentsite for one payment. is it possible?

I’ve bought it, but the shortcode to show one service ID does not work. User can select all Services?

Hi performer,

Can you please open support ticket at http://www.criticalgears.com/support-tickets/ ? One of the support staff members will assist you further.

Okay, I have opened a ticket.

Two pre-sale question:

With this plugin I can sell 4 different services, redirect the client to a “thank you page” after paying and send an automatic email with a pdf?

Why the plugin not been updated since 2014?

Thanks!

Hi jcarlosc,

With a little code change – you can do that. Since you’ve already purchased the plugin – just open a support ticket at http://www.criticalgears.com/support-tickets/ and we’ll show you how to redirect to your thank you page. Email is already being sent by the system, once payment is posted back from PayPal to your site – you can add your PDF either as a link or if you know PHP you could attach that PDF to the email.

Does this work with 4.6.1?

Hi websenseuk,

Thank you for your interest in our product.

Yes, it does work with wp 4.6.1

hi, I’ve a pre-purchase question. Can I add price or something else in shortcode ? for example : [pppt_paypalform price=100] .

Thank you :)

Hi FameLabs,

Thank you for your interest in our product.

At the moment – no, you cannot.

My purchase code isn’t working on your forum so I will leave my question here. How can I make the customer entered description transfer to the paypal payment as the service type? I can achieve this easily through a Paypal button but I wanted to use your code for flexibility. However, if I cannot get the service description to transfer to Paypal, I cannot track the payments.

Hi krackajackfoo,

Thank you for purchasing our product.

I apologize for the forum issue – it’s fixed now and you can register without any issues. I would have to ask you to post your question on the forum though, as it requires our support team to look into and provide instructions on what to change.

want to buy today, need to add to my website which allows brides to put in amount to hire wedding specialists….....will this work for that since several photographers may charge different prices, also can it be used for escrow type features for admin to hold payment take a percentage and then release payment to servicer?

Hi qcornell,

We’ve replied to your support forum inquiry – please review there.

Is this being updated for an XSS vulnerabilities ?

We don’t use code which would have to be updated, in this product.

Nice simple to use plugin – just fyi your descriptions fields are the wrong way around:

See this screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/2isUsgVfc

The amount description needs to go on the bottom field and vice versa for the service description.

Hi redflamemedia,

Thank you for purchasing our product, and for your feedback – we’ll take a look on this.

Does this shopping cart support Paypal recurring payments?

Thanks

Hi Micheal0424,

Thank you for your interest in our product.

This is not a shopping cart – it’s payment page ( you cannot add products to “cart” with our software). It doesn’t support recurring at the moment.

Hi Convergine,

I would like to replace PayPal logo. Would you tell me which script is the one to edit the image for ‘Pay by PayPal’.

Thank you :)

No problem, fixed. :)

Glad you sorted it out on your own HighExpression!

Hi Convergine,

Does the script support concurrent payments?

Thank you!

It is the same to say automatic monthly fee; similar to a subscription for example :)

Hi HighExpression,

Unfortunately, no, there is no support for recurring payments in this product at the moment.

Thanks Convergine

Hello,

The readme says to install the plugin folder, but the folder (PayPal_payment_terminal) is not a zip folder which I can install with WordPress. Is the correct way to zip that and install it?

Hi HippieGuy,

Thank you for purchasing our product.

You can either upload the folder through FTP or zip the folder, as you suggested.

Okay, installed. But in what menu do I configure where the button will be?

You must use shortcodes for that.

For any other support related questions – please use support forum – http://support.convergine.com – we’ll be happy to help.

Hi, I am getting following error when I hit the pay button on the widget.
