You stated that you could sort and paginate in a future version. I assumed that would have already be included. How can I do this since I have yet seen this function added. Again want to sort and paginate. Also is it possible to sort numbers? Example price between $A – $B, etc. Price lower than, etc.

I’m still not seeing a way to “sort” pricing. I can filter a specific price or item but arranging pricing from low to high or high to low doesn’t appear to be a function in this “sorting” plugin. Any suggestions?

I love this plugin and have used it a couple of different times. I’m wondering if it’s possible to load the page with something other than all the data showing… to preselect a different item than “all” from the list? I’ve tried reassigning the “selected” class, with no luck.

Fairly good grasp of everything. In simpleContentSorting-plus.js there are references to li, i am assuming that i change them all to article?

Thanks for your patience. This plugin requires the data to already be loaded on the page. So if you had a sever-side script to load the csv onto the page, this plugin can certainly work for you. Let me know if you have any additional questions!

just bought your plugin. It works very well, but I had to understand how to use a second selectbox on my own since I couldn’t find any explanation on your documentation. I thought you could update it a bit for future users.

We were migrating servers earlier this week, that’s why the link was dead. However, it’s back: http://www.trade-invaders.com/liste2.phpWhen I select a list, it resets the filters of the other. I’m pretty sure there’s something I’ve done wrong since I suck with jquery / javascript. First list filters headsets and wireless controllers, second list filters availability.

yes, I’m still having the issue. I pick one option, it filters the list. I then pick one option on the second list, and it “cancels” or “resets” the filters applied by the first list. My goal is to have both selectboxes’s filters work together. Maybe I’m trying to do something impossible with your plugin?

I apologize for your confusion. Yes this can easily be made into a wordpress plugin. But you could also just use it as a jQuery plugin within your current theme. Let me know if you need help doing this.

Hello, I have a problem with the plugin. It’s about pagination. It stays below the elements when they occupy the whole line. But in the case of just few elements, the pagination is off and moves up. You may see this behavior here: http://colorkurs.ru/combinations/index-new.html on page #2.

How can I set up the defaults on simpleContentSorting.js so that a particular selection in my <select></select> appears when the page first loads? Right now the default seems to be the entire data set.
I’ve tried setting a $(”#selectbox”).val in the $(document).ready(function()
... but that doesn’t seem to do it

Hello,
No problem thats really easy to achieve. There are several ways to do this however the simplest way would be just add the class of “hidden” to the ones you dont want to show on page load. This way only the ones you want to show will be visible. This way you dont have to touch the core js code which is considered bad practice.
