Hello, I have the same question as the others regarding jQuery Simple Content Sorting Plus Plugin—how can I use two drop down lists to fliter something twice. Secondly, is there any way to get pagination to work with the drop down lists? In your examples they are separate. Thanks!

excellent plugin, man I just bough the plugin, how I can change the properties to to show more than 5 items per pagination?

I have edit the section:

items_per_page:5,
num_display_entries:11,

to :

items_per_page:10,
num_display_entries:11,

And still it shows only 5 items per page. I’ll appreciate any help.

Hello! I bought this plug-in and I have a question… Works nice with one drop box but imagine if you want to use two or more drop boxes to filter your content., for example. First I want to filter the content by Location (First drop-box) and next I want to filter the result by category (Second drop-box)... Is this possible? Keep up the hard work. Hey, great little plugin. My question is around passing a parameter for an initial filter value. For example, in my page I’d like to look at a URI segment and use that as the preliminary filter if it exists. Can this be done?

1. Can the sorting and pagination be used together in the same page?

2. Instead of a drop down, can a tick box or a link be used for sorting?

3. Will the sorting work with two or more criteria, for instance Mexico + 2 bedroom?

Perhaps it’s a bit misleading to have the word ‘sorting’ in the title of this plugin, because in PHP , Javascript, FileMaker, Excel, etc. ‘sorting’ means to actually change/determine the order things are listed.

If I knew this plugin didn’t do that, I wouldn’t have bought it.

I’ve got the filtering part of this script to work, but I can’t figure out how to do the sorting part.. How do I control the order the results are listed?

I’d also love to see the two functions combined. I sometimes have hundreds of items that I’d love to be able to sort, and have the results paginated as well.

It would be cool to have the two functions combined if it is not too difficult.

And I assume now that with simpleContentSorting-plus.js you should be able to have pagination and the sort done on the same list? I can’t seem to get it to work, nor can I figure out how to control how many items are shown in my list
