Also, unfortunately the splash screen integration seems to have killed my homepage slider.
Are you able to look into this for me?
many thanks
Aaron
ooo, and my testimonials slider is no longer showing!
Please send a ticket at http://webcraft.cc/support.php and I will look into it as soon as I can.
Hi,
Does this plugin create its own cookie that allows the splash screen to only show for a user once? if they revisit it just goes straight to the site. ideally I’d like it to expire 24hours later, but if that’s not do-able on browser close would work?
many thanks
Yes, this plugin uses cookies. You can specify the duration of the cookie and how many times each user should see the screen while the cookie lasts. These settings are unique for each screen.
Please let me know if you have any other questions. Regards
Hi, I’m afraid I cant see any options here to customise the cookie. at present the splashscreen appears everytime you go to the home page.
You can change the cookie settings by clicking the “Settings” tab while editing a screen. It’s next to the “Visual Editor” tab.
I’m sorry, its possible I’m being really thick, but on the Jquery editor I dont see any options for the above. I have just “Preview” “Generate jquery” “save” and “load” as tabs down the right hand side when I am at editor.html
thanks
Aaron
I misled you, sorry. I though we were discussing the WordPress version of the plugin. If you need a refund, please contact Envato Support or email me to send you the WP version instead.
Love the video tutorial and looks so simple to make a splash screen, my only question is this, once the splash has been created, how would I export the contents to add to a normal HTML website and not a Wordpress website, the tutorial only explains how to make it and not intergrate into an existing site outside of Wordpress. If easy enough to do, then this plugin is definitely on my purchase list.
Thanks in advance for any more help you can provide.
Hi, You should check out the first video, it explains how to generate jQuery code and where to put it in your website.
P.S. the rest of the videos explain only how to work with the Editor. They are recorded using the WP version of the plugin, but the Editor is almost identical.
Thanks nickys – Now purchased
Just one question, can the continue to site button be linked to an actual site page or url address as opposed to just closing the splash screen, all I see is a div class=”ss-close-screen”
No worries, I’ve managed to sort the link out
Glad you worked it out! You can use any HTML in the “text” field, including buttons, links and such.
Wonderful execution and product. Well done!
Thanks!
looks nice I see it comes with 7 layout presets, can we add more ourselves?
With the layout editor you can make almost any layout you want, but you can’t create new presets. Check out the videos to see how the editor works
Good Work
Thanks
